I wish someone could tell me how to do smaller loads but I don't think that will ever happen. The bigger the better if it vapes even. I would rather run a bowl twice or three times(hmmm that never happened "YET") then empty and refill. I bet I am the odd one out :o

Nigel just press the report button and report yourself. That is the best way to do that.

yes that is correct 2 post thus far. is this an implication of some sort?

im on the ascent thread, a video request was asked and i posted the video that was removed earlier once again to demonstrate what type of video i would like to request

mod note: The fact that the vid was removed should have told you not to post it again.

Hmm - I jut think a lot of flavor is lost every time everything is reheated, I would rather go through 3 smaller bowls (no heat up time in between) rather than one large one that starts to taste like popcorn half way through

Didn't ask what your total post count was. I asked if 100% of them (not including this discussion) were spamming the same video to this thread, previously deleted or not.

So "was removed earlier" does indeed mean spamming the same video again, despite the previous removal??? Unclear as to why previous removal means must repost again....

I finish my bowls but sometimes run them twice depending on my mood and level of laziness. If I had a smaller bowl I suppose I would just do less like solo stem or many other vapes including the DV. Ok I admit it, I am a hog.

i understood your question about the percentage and i understand you didn't specifically ask for my message count but i thought it being pertinent information to relay in answering your question.

im sorry you feel this way.

from a reader's perspective, stating a percentage rather than an actual count implies i have hundreds of post with the same message when in fact i have only 2 at the time.

yes the video was deleted previously but with no reason given to me and im sorry if that translates to spamming to you but simply removing the video does not translate that to me (removing my whole post and marking it as spam, and issuing me a warning for violating forum rules would have). no where in the rules of the forum does it state video links are not allowed.

the definition of spamming is unsolicited messages, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups.

nowhere did i write i endorse the reviewer or ask for anything in my post (an ascent,money,views,etc... like other post right after me did) im simply spreading information nigel.

simply having it removed did not entice me to repost the video. the video request posted by the Davinci rep did nigel, lets not jump to assumptions here.

so lets focus more on what the thread is about, The Ascent by DaVinci vaporizer and not a pissing contest.

mod note: This thread is indeed about the Ascent, so please refrain from reposting an advertisement for another brand here.

Takin my idea...like a glass lined ceramic that holds .2 maybe would be awesome. But dv, sell it as an accesory after the release along with the straight water adapter.

Word. Or how about a glass weight you can just drop into the bowl and it'll take up extra space when there's a small load. This might be easier to produce as well.

A spacer would really not be necessary IMO. I have a plenty and it has a HUGE bowl.. but when you have just a little "product" you just hold it upright and spread the "product" evenly over the bowl and it works great without a spacer.. I imagine it will work the same with the ascent..

Wouldnt the glass oil cans achieve this if you didn't put the little lid on?

EDIT: on second thought, without a path from the bottom it'd make the vape pure conduction I guess.

What makes u so sure the glass oil jars will have a cover? Have I missed a post or something? Or are you basing that assumption off the design of the previous divinci oil can with the plastic lid.

Its in the other, longer video. We see her loading essential oils in the can and then placing a cap on it and dropping it in the ascent.

Whats to say the glass cans don't have an airpath in the bottom like the oil cans for the DaVinci vape ?
Seems they would have to in order to work with convection .

TIME WILL TELL ! [or maybe the DV rep].

The open path on the DV cans aren't flush with the bottom of the can but have a nipple [for lack of a better term] that is raised about 1/4 inch the oil is absorbed into "floss" that sits above the nipple. the DV can without "floss" works great with keif without any falling through the bottom . Still thats The DaVinci and not the Ascent oil cans . A can with no airflow through would become pure conduction AFAIU .

Yea this is why I didn't use the oil cans much for my davinci. My stuff always seems to melt through. The hole as I recall is right underneath the can in the middle. Maybe only highly viscous concentrate performs better with the oil cans. I have no idea.

Yes, the glass jar has a lid, which is completely optional to use. I've tried it both ways and find that I like it better without for thicker essential oils...but beware to keep the Ascent upright or it gets messy. Once my Ascent got stuck shut because I decided to lay it down when it wasn't quite empty. Bad move...at least put the lid back on when you're done.

There are no holes in the oil jar bottom, fyi.


Addition- Hey Canadian FC'ers come say "Hi" to the team at Treating Yourself this weekend. We have a few Ascents there to check out too.
