Well it could have been leaked lol amazing how we are hanging on every word. I wonder how the response will be to this when it finally drops.I am wondering how the seller got pictures of the packaging though? Have we seen any official pic's from DV yet? I thought it was the packaging that was the delay? I would avoid that ebay seller personally

All you need to do is read the fine print on the ebay auction... here they are basically telling you, it's not in stock! It's the ol' when you go to complain, "well didn't you read the fine print"?
It reminds me of people that sold just the box for playstation, all you had to do is read the listing description in detail...
I'm not saying this is a scam, but it sure is a way for them to lock down orders and then ship them when they get them....

I personally love the fact that they blame ebay for how much stock they have and when the item will get to you. How does ebay know how much stock you have. The seller must have to tell them at some point wouldn't you think? We must be really bored talking about every word on that silly posting.

I contacted the eBay seller out of curiosity and was told they'd be shipping out by the end of the month. But I have the feeling they won't even have the Ascent in their possession by then, unless it's released in a week and they pre-registered for dozens before anyone else and chose to sell them at a loss... because, ya know, that's likely 
They grabbed the picture of the box from one of our distributors websites and then dropped in a photoshop pic from our site. Note- we've changed the box, this was a prototype from forever ago. VapoVape is not an authorized reseller, nor will they be. Funny to see how much drama they are stirring up...people on our FB are going kinda nuts over it. I bought one to see what would happen and my order was canceled lol.
I know it's a huge controversial issue, but once these ebay guys get their hands on a product, it kills retail sales as these guys have absolutely no overhead. Shops don't want to carry it because they can't make margins. No retail sales = no vaporizer business for us. Hardest part of this business to manage to be honest...everyone struggles with it.
On that note...all authorized retailers will have a unique number and authorized reseller badge on their site.

All the drama just goes to show how excited everyone is for this vape
. I mean, people are actually scouring the internet for sales of an unreleased product and then praying that their findings are legitimate.I contacted them out of curiosity to see what kind of BS story they'd feed me and sure enough they fed me until I was full.
I hope so but doubt it based on the email they sent saying demand may exceed supply. That to me says we have more preorders then units good luck

I would hope they had at least 500 units though for preorder. With a launch they should have a decent amount I would assume. From the email:
"Note that demand may exceed supply, so registrants will be notified in the order received"
Keep in mind that it cost people nothing to pre-reg. So a lot of those numbers are just not going to complete a sale (or might wait until there are reviews out first). But I think they are erring on the side of caution, regardless.
Also the rep did say that we were getting first crack at the with the remainder going to distribution. We could conceivably impact local headshop supply in the short term.
EDIT: Also, the pre-reg was open to ANYONE, not just FC members, so that also skews numbers.

That is true. I think alot of people might still buy one and sell it. I dont own anything by DaVinci yet but I dont think they would put out a bad product based on what I have seen and heard.

Exactly nigel and V8 I wasn't saying anything against you I was just saying I don't do stuff like that cause I consider it annoying but that is just my opinion. I know many do stuff like that. I just got a wall around my yard and had to wait for the gates which were partly put in today. The lady called me yesterday to tell me they were coming. It has been four weeks and I didn't call them once and she commented she appreciated that. It is just my nature if it is something that I know will just take a long time and has to be made. I also don't ask a lot of questions when I have people working for me cause this is what I want and I expect it to be done right without me having to micromanage which I am very capable of doing but don't like to since I find it stressful. So with the run on sentence I hope that explains that I am just different and am not judging you for doing it at all.

I understand and take no offense but as for me and quite a few on here patience is virtue we wish dead. I do believe as a company though ,questions no matter how dumb should be answered. Thats what makes me want to buy from a company when they show me they care enough to answer.
I do need to relax more but thats what the ascent is gonna be for

I'm wondering if every preregister is getting a free gift. If thats the case then it probebly wont be the glass bubbler attachment, which i was really hoping for.

You were given a choice as to which item you'd like to see (and where you heard about the Ascent).
It has been mentioned that there are plenty of give-aways, but not sure if that is plenty of EACH choice or plenty ACROSS all choices.

Apologies as this question might have been discussed, but I'm curious and didn't find the answer using the search feature. What are we supposing the (longterm) life on these lithium ion batteries will be like? Can anyone chime in on this or link me?
