NVS Glassworks

They currently have a 15% sale on pretty much everything, and Jason has been very helpful and quick to respond to my multiple emails in the last few days

So it's my first time ordering there tonight and you can't order online but it was a very smooth transaction over the phone while Jason was holding my items in his hands He also quoted me the exact shipping charges from usps.com while on the phone with no other handling fees. I received my tracking number within minutes of completing the sale. They will ship my package next Monday - I can't wait!

If you are in the Portland OR. area, they're having a huge event on 4/20 with some live glass blowing from Dirty Rico and Blue. Their store really look amazing from the pics on their website. It's like an art gallery! I hope I can visit their place in person one day.

As posted in the 'Recent Acquisitions' thread, I received my Dirty Rico Micro and a Blue Tini slide (both awesome pieces BTW) from NVS Glassworks yesterday. It took a week to get across the continent and across the border, so that's pretty good - no customs tax for 'Glass Art'.

The packaging was perfect with a lot of bubble wrap inside an unmarked box, although you could see the NVS Glassworks logo on the packing slip outside the box. That could potentially give away its content to mommy or daddy so be careful kids.

Unfortunately upon unpacking and further inspection of the bubbler, I found a major defect as you can see below so I contacted Jason at NVS right away by email, asking him what to do - I even stated that I was willing to return it at my own expense for an exchange as this is common with most retailers/warranty.

Jason replied promptly that NVS would stand up behind their products and offered me to return the item for a store credit of the full amount including return shipping!

He said that Dirty Rico was at their store on 4/20 and they have since new pieces from him, but I'm hoping they still have another Micro like mine in stock because the size of this thing is just perfect, and I also prefer its black DR label instead of the usual DR white splatter... So I'm waiting for Jason to answer this last question and I'm ready to go to post office!

Even though I would have thought they'd inspect the pieces more carefully when fulfilling a phone order, NVS has confirmed, inspected and packaged another DR Micro for me and are waiting for the return of my defective piece, at their expense. I can't complain about their after sale service.

Damn I can't wait to hit that thing! At least two more weeks of .

For sure, and this is why I will shop again there.

I shipped my broken baby yesterday, let's hope it gets there without any further damage.

So I have shopped NVS twice now. last 7/10 and this last experience.
I had my eye on a 65mm convertible DG. liked the size and the large intake.
hoped that it would be a easier draw than my small can. oddly, he uses a tighter fritter for those pieces, which wasn't to my needs. they also gave me store credit (woulda preferred a refund, but whaddayagonnado). i was gonna just pick up a normal convertible for the larger intake, but decided to switch gears to a new perc by Dirty Rico. it meant losing my 4/20 discount, which they nicely offered on the first piece, even tho it was past 4/20 as well as taking 20 off for keeping the bowl/expander/fritt filters. really generous and hated giving it back, but the draw made it a no go for me.

instead i got this Dirty Rico Apocoline Dewaar Beaker Bottom Bubbler


only $300 so i added the HE nail for 75. gave me $10 bucks off the set.
pretty sick, huh?

I love the sound of those bubbles! Never heard anything like it before.

On another note, NVS has received my returned piece today and they sent me a new tracking# within hours

Can't wait to see the difference in the craftsmanship, hopefully.

Finally received my replacement Dirty Rico Micro from NVS - It's flawless. Like night&day compared to the one I had received. I which they had done a better quality control in the first place, because after seeing this, there's no way the first piece should have passed QC both from DR and NVS. Just a waste of time and money for them especially, but they got it right in the end.

Lucky for me they are 3 miles away. Was there yesterday, but didn't have much time. Had my eye n a couple Dirty Rico's. Problem is I want more than I can offord. Window shopping is fun.

So I stopped by NVS yesterday $1800 later I have some really nice glass - a Daivd Goldstein, Dirty Rico + Renee Patula, Sheldon Black, a 2013 BC and a Hitman dabbing station. The Sheldon Black is their recycler - man its the sweetest drawing pipe I have seen. don't even know you are smoking

This place has nothing but high end glass, not for the faint of heart or a person on a budget. Really nice stuff. Jason was cool also, had to stay late to pack everything so I gave hime a ride home.

This one is smooth, well they are all smooth. Its also a looker

The Sheldon Black:
This pipe is o smooth you fill your lungs and don't even know it (almost)...

The 2013 BC:

This is my travel bubbler. Fits a small case since the mouth piece removes and I carry a m-m, and my pen attachment

And the David Goldstein:


Smll, but its really smooth. I use it normally with a pen.

The Hitman Dabbing station:

they'll be having a 7/10 Sale as per usual. buy one get one free house ti nails

You do, you snagged one of my Favorites I saw at NVS. I love recyclers.

@ Bob, any chance we can see it 'in action'? Looks like an inverted peyote perc a bit...

yea, recyclers seem to be the new tech. had just convinced myself to get one for the holiday when NVS posted that piece to FB. i can tell you i wasn't the only one after it. they guy had just been trying to call someone else back about it when he picked up my call. right place, exact right time. love my other Apocoline, but it looks like it's gonna have to hit the classifieds.

i don't have it yet, i just payed for it. shop is on the other side of town from my. the wifey is gonna grab it when she's out that way. but i always shoot at least one video. you can check my signature for my youtube page. i don't do ads (unless the musical overlay requests them)

I love NVS!!! I got all my dg's from them and they are always great to work with. I just got a call from them and I won 3rd place in their 710 raffle!!!!!
