The logo on the silver FV is really discreet since it is a light grey that almost matches the background and so isn't noticeable unless you look closely. If the logo for the black one were a dark grey then it would probably be just as discreet (and sexy) as the silver one.

Frankly, I think the logo is so small that it can't really be compromising. If someone is close enough to read it then the cat is already out of the bag.

I understand your point pakalolo. I thought about dark gray, but I can't compromise. Debadged is debadged. Black on black is the second coolest option IMO.

Things are moving away from Madison Ave logo in your face. More like the Rush song "Closer to the Heart". A fine craftsman with a fine product stands tall. People want it, people love it. And they appreciate a small humble logo tucked away under the cap maybe (perhaps with a serial number - people love that exclusivity). In your face advertising just seems a passing fad (hopefully).

I think you're looking out for his business interests in a brotherly way, and that is nice, or maybe you're a logo aficionado - that's cool too, but debdged is debadged, and that's the style I would recommend for the Stealth FV. :)

I think if you looked at the logo itself, you will notice that it is laser etched onto the anodized surface on the FV. The only color the shows after the process is the bare base metal aluminum color, after the top anodized layer is peeled away by the laser. That is the ONLY way to make a logo so small and have the serial still legible on anodized surfaces.

If we were to do a stealth FV, we will put the logo/serial inside under the swivel cap, between the two rubber o'rings which secures the cap in place.

As pakalolo mentioned earlier, our current logo is really quite small. Also bare in mind that most flashlights also have a logo on them anyways, so having the logo itself visible on the unit somewhere is not an immediate differentiating factor between the FV and a similar flashlight.

That's cool - I like that location. The serial number issue cuts both ways. Some love that special feeling like getting a numbered lithograph. Others feel it's too big brother, like the Man is going to track you down through vape data. Triangulate your ass taking a hit or something.

Nice to see there is a whip and mini pipe adapter, as well as a new S2 spacer. Looking forward to getting both in the near future. The FV is already my daily driver, but that whip and the new sharktooth S2 spacer will make it even better.

Until it comes, i followed up on Bvaps's idea of using elastic bands to hold the stem in, and lets it hang easily for storage. I took a pic:

I see from the pictures i should be cleaning the top glass piece. I've never taken it off, it feels like it will need a lot of pressure the first time.

I havn't had any problems with my stems falling out, they were kinda loose when i first got them so i took off the seal strip and cut/put new on and it fits super snug i shake the crap out of it with no worry.

I agree with paka the logo on my silver flashvape is super discreet, honest to god i didn't even know it was there until i read your guys posts and checked it out.

Cant wait to try the new and improved S2 kit with whip and mini bub, sounds magical LOL.

Just had another very satisfying weekend afternoon session with this thing. I'm getting better using the feedback from the window. I'm off to pick up that whip pack so I can get a really good look in there while vaping!

While slightly inconvenient, I prefer to hold a flashlight above the window when using the FV just so that I can see in there. I don't *have* to, and don't always, I find I can get bigger hits without much fear of combustion this way. I have the new spacer and whip kit on the way though and can't wait!

tracking from CA to the US costs extra from the post office, and I'm not sure it is included.

EDIT: Damn! Second session today was righteous! The window and its feedback are quickly getting my technique nailed down. I think I got all I needed out of that bowl in about five hits, and the unit is not getting as hot now that I am using it this way. (Don't ask me what I am doing differently, it's just cooler. Maybe when I have my wits back I can think of it.) Those were some of the biggest portable hits I've ever gotten, and I was outside in the middle of one of the worst storms we have had in a while. Big, portable, instant hits regardless of the environment...I like that!

Love being in a storm while vaked or under skylights.. you can hear every drop hitting the glass. What technique is working for you? The only time i've noticed my unit get hot is when there are four or five 15 second+ hits getting taken back to back.

I don't know...im still fucked up cause its been a great day. but I was playing with it and realizing that I didn't have to hold the button in constantly to keep getting hits. I could lay off it a bit sometimes and still keep the temp in the right spot, which kept the temp nice and low and also kept it from getting too hot.

I got the new Stage 2 ceramic spacer in the mail today. It is a much much better design. My old one was holding up, but I was being very cautious. This new one looks much sturdier. I like thew new more porous material.

Maybe it is just me, but I think the new spacer is a little better design... regardless of the breaking issue. The flash vaporizer has some awesome power under the hood. The extra thickness seems to be a bit of a buffer between vaporization and combustion.... not much but a little. Also the fact that they removed the cross bars so it is open in the middle lets the air flow better.. I think. I know this is cosmetic but it looks like a piece of volcano rock now instead of ceramic. I kind of like that. Either way I think Stage 2 is the way to go...

Don't look now, but this thing just made it to the top of my portable lineup. I went for a little outing today and reached for this instead of the Solo. It just kind of happened and I didn't even notice at first. I was halfway through my trip when I realized that I normally would have grabbed the Solo.

I got hooked on it this weekend. Turns out it is the perfect vape to stash outside at the beginning of the day so it is there whenever I want to run out for a quick hit.

Obviously I prefer the mflb for stealth, but this is now what I grab for walks, drives, or just hanging out away from a wall.

I agree with you, sticks...this little guy is a great portable for all sorts of situations. I use mine way more than my PAX, even though the PAX is stealthier overall...I love the taste I get from the FV.

I'm playing with my breathing/button and I realized I don't have to hold the button in all the time. I was getting some really tasty hits and the unit felt better. I' gonna be vaping at lower temps with this thing.

I just went S2 V.2 as well
I agree, that this is not only an improvement in durability, but in vaporization as well.

While playing with the new S2, I found a new button technique as well.
I "fill er up"... then I hit that button and slowly begin breathing......
and I continue breathing until I see (through window) and taste rich vapor..
then I increase and inhale more rapidly, as the vapor thickens.
You can see the vapor start thin... and gradually thicken, until you release the button.
Visuals and flavor tell me when it is time to let go of that button!
Great job FV!

Received the new S2 spacer, just took my first couple hits from it. Initial impression, great vapor (even better, in my opinion), but have to let it warm up a second or two longer. But the herb is wonderfully even! I'd love to give a better review, but there isn't much to be said. It's the S2, but better. An S2s if you will (yes, I stole the iPhone scheme, it seems appropriate).

Received my new S2 spacer yesterday and have been testing it all day with friends. It works great and seems to be keeping my friends and myself medicated and happy with tasty vapor and not combusting when using the FlashVape. Thank You FlashVAPE for getting this new design sent out so quickly. My first S2 spacer broke after the first few days of use but this new one looks to be really solid.

Thanks Again FlashVAPE and looking forward to the new charger that can quickly charge two batteries at once. It seems that the FlashVape is so powerful that it really can use the batteries pretty fast and they currently take so long to charge in current single charger. Yeah and I guess I better order more batteries too :) This thing is just fun to use and see the vapor ready to be enjoyed!
