What Are Your Top 5 Strains ?

That's what I was thinking! Remove those gloves, and put on a different pair. Or, wash his hands after every layer he removed. I'm OCD about germs, so that might not even be good enough for me.
I only use hash if i made it myself , and this is one more reason to add to my list !

So many strains I haven't tried here, wow. I could start a new thread for this if you guys feel it's too off topic, but here goes:
I'm going to have access to a plethora of strains this summer, so I was looking for new ones to try. I've been doing some research but I'd love to hear some recommendations. I'm looking for a strain that will alleviate anxiety and also provide a great euphoric/uplifted effect. Also, I'm a fan of sweet tasting strains, I had strawberry cough for a while and I loved it.
EDIT: I should point out that I'm trying to avoid strains that induce couch-lock, if possible.

A bunch of reviews say it's a couch-locker, which I'm generally trying to avoid. Forgot to add that to my last post, my bad!

That's surprising because it has always been a more uplifting high for me. I feel like I'm vaping a Sativa when I use it.

If you have access to medical stuff, go for hybrids. Sativas don't do anywhere near as much as indicas do for my anxiety. The sedating CBD shines through for that. There's sooo many hybrids I can't even really tell you what to go for, lol. Seriously I just got back from a collective and there 26 strains on three shelves. If you can get a nicely-grown cut of Blue Dream, I think you'll be in love. It was the first strain of "medical-quality" that I got (not my first strain as a patient, however) and I was sad to hear that the guy cleared two zips in under 12 hours because I only got 2g. Never seen a cut of BD as nice as what he brought me. Girl Scout Cookies is another favorite of mine, as well as Lemon Haze.

Blueberry's a hybrid, I've noticed that the ones I've had tend to be more indica-dominant but I wouldn't doubt a stronger sativa pheno for a second.

Always Vaping
Grapefruit - best daytime smoke ever; extremely uplifting but never racy
Pineapple Chunk - great for my back pain, very multi dimensional high
Cinderella 99 - Tastes and smells like candy canes when cured well
MK Ultra - Was my go to strain for pain years ago and I still keep some around
Purple Kush - Favorite indica, tastes great and hits behind the eyes

I was looking at a lot of hybrids, since pure Indica, although great for anxiety, seems to produce couch-lock. I'll take a look at Blue Dream, thanks. One I was seriously considering is Girl Scout Cookies, since it fits my preferences and is on a lot of member's top 5 lists.

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I've found that my own reactions to strains vary too much from 'recommendations and/or findings' of affect which leads me to believe further that both effect and satisfaction is more personal and based on basic personal brain chemistry & receptor uptake of the individual.

Sure, its great to hear others findings with different strains but it certainly isn't a be all listing for recommendation. Just a reference to experiment with to see if it works the same for yourself.

It's IMHO the reason for personal preferences with regards to strain favorites. Not to mention that cultivation varies so widely with different growers/breeders that consistency will also further play with end results.

Ahhhhhh, the mystical use of cannabis eh ;)

If hash is allowed I'd vote for:
1. Nepalese Temple Balls
2. Nepal Cream
3. Indian Charas Manali Fingers
4. Bubba Kush weed
5. Super Silver Haze for the occasional sativa high

I'm not very confident in this list, as in a non medical area each strain's quality relies on it's grower.

However, the strains that I've liked the most, and would want to try again from a dispensary are:

Permafrost
Trainwreck
White Russian

I love the smell, looks, and taste of sativas generally, but I like the effects of indicas.

I've only recently gained access to dispensaries where I actually know what I'm buying! For many years I just smoked whatever came my way, and rarely knew what it was. :)

5 Favorite Strains so Far
- Pandora's Box: I love sativas anyway, and this one is very uplifting and the batch I got made me creative as hell. Perfect!
- Granddaddy Purple: My go-to indica when I'm nauseated, in pain, or suffering from insomnia. Love the taste.
- Jack Herer: Good, solid sativa that also helps with nausea
- Cherry Kola: Local strain that placed 3rd in High Times' Cannabis Cup. Extremely unusual taste & I can't stop smelling it! Very different, hits hard.
- Blue Dragon: Love the taste, hits hard
TIED WITH
- Mango Kush: Hands-down one of the best tasting strains I've ever tried...like candy!

Favorite strains!! Here we go (such a hard decision)

Lavender (one of my all time favorites)
Big Buddha Cheese (a HARD hitting hybrid that will get you unnecessarily ripped)
Chernobyl (the craziest smelling strain I have ever had, and a very strong sativa high)
Sour Diesel (who could disagree, man?)
Grape Ape (One of the strongest indicas I have ever smoked)

can't break it down to 5 :D

SoulCaptivesAreFree,
Wow that takes me back, unpacking these was a regular returning chore of mine way,way back(gloves...?We dont need no stinking gloves!:D).
The hash was superior indeed, that why it's a bit of a shame they take a lighter to it in the Jorge Cervantes vid.
With hash like this that's completely unnecessary, just holding it for a short while will be sufficient to soften this up more than enough to work/use.

If restricted to 5 my list would be :
1. Amnesia(/Haze) (Hy-pro)
med_gallery_12078_11802_1041026.jpg

Getting to know this girl quite well and the love affair ain't dwindling yet!
2. Anesthesia(Whazzup/Sannies's shop)
gallery_12078_9061_210666.jpg

More indica, good for painrelief and as a 'knockout'.:brow:
3. Jack Herer(Sensi seeds)
med_gallery_12078_3004_526430.jpg

Simply yummie.
4. Sannie's Jacks(Sannies's shop)
gallery_5211_4706_1255543.jpg

Also very yummie, good yielder as well.
(These last two are pretty interchangeable,i like the effect of Sensi's a tiny bit better, but also very slightly prefer the taste of Sannie's.)
5. AG13(a cross Amnesia Haze/G13 of undisclosed origin,clone only)
Loved the taste and had quite a kick.

The white patch in the middle is a collection of trichomes.
This is lost(to me at least, might be out there still) and only on here because it was very memorable.
