Hello fellow insomniac :)
The phytocannabinoid with the highest boiling point that has sedative properties is pulegone at 224c.

If I'm trying to get to sleep, I'll usually start my vape load at around 195-200c take a hit, and over the course of another couple of hits raise it all the way to 225-230c for the final hit.

For my last "going to sleep" trench of the day I like to run my MFLB hotter that I do during the day.
It seems to me the hotter the vapor the more likely it is to put me to sleep.
Insomnia sucks, affects every part of your life,I wish you luck and keep us posted on how it's going!

Romulan and Afghani, that is.

Last night, I think I might have had two hours of sleep in a row, and maybe 5 altogether. sigh.

I find that vaping makes it harder for me to sleep, my mind just takes off running and sleep is impossible, on the other hand, two small puffs of ABV from my water pipe will knock me cold for about 5 hours which for me is a minor miracle.

I also find tinctures and medibles to work well for sleeping (especially Indica strains). I prefer tinctures as they're easier on my stomach (glycerin based)[/quote

jcat, have you tried TetraLabs Spray Tincture? If so, how do you like it?

Do you find Tinctures last as long as a vape buzz?

OMG... I slept all night.

Didn't even use the Rom & Afghani... just had Chocolate Chunk in the stem for the Nano, and sat with my hubby and we toked it down to caramel ABV. Slept like a rock.

I think the vape used MIGHT have something to do with the effectiveness of getting the goods (CBD in my case) out!

I've found that any type of medibles (tinctures I'm getting are pretty thick so best mixed with coffee, non-alcoholic beer, or w/ alcohol if desired I suppose :)) tend to last as long but the effect is less noticeable than vaping. It's less immediate and intense. I do like them to maintain a consistent level of functionality though, as well they're extremely useful when I can't or it's too inconvenient to be vaping every hour or two.

I'm a complicated case because sometimes I just won't shut-up because I'm hypomanic and pretty intense and have a lot to say so need to knock that down a few notches and other times I'm so depressed that I'm extremely reserved and withdrawn and need the THC high to make me forget and keep me truckin' along as I have enormous pressure and responsibilities at times ....

I'm in Canada ... I don't have the access to what you get in California (TetraLabs is California correct?) ... hopefully if the Conservative government doesn't fuck everything up, we'll eventually end up with a federally legal system as effective and open as the state level one you have in California ... maybe even better ... however, if the Conservatives have their way all we'll be able to buy is pharmaceutically produced cannabis flowers with no access to alternatives such as various medibles, concentrates, tinctures, etc.

I do the same as DreamTime.
I'm a fellow insomniac!
Currently have a cannabis formula before bed that aids my sleeping!
A couple milky vapor hits put me out.

Better that Pharma!
