Do you know how much juice the quad coil can hold? What voltage are you running it on? How's the throat hit?
I haven't had trouble with the ss tank leaking. Is the cap for the fill hole screwed all the way in?

My Nibbler X and two new 2.4 ohm carts arrive tomorrow and I'm friggin' stoked to give them a go! 
I'm just hoping that this time around, the carts won't taste like metal. I have some incredible Sour Diesel wax and I'm really hoping that the taste comes through like it does on my nail. I know that a lot of people report that the 2.4's taste the best, so I decided to give them another go after trying the 5.0's back in October.
Also, to the Hercules users, do you have a particular sites that you would recommend for a whip (or any particular whips for that matter) to connect my Herc to a water pipe? I really wish that the Hercules could be used upside down in order to take Herculean rips through my Nate Dizzle Swiss Perc, but unfortunately it makes an absolute mess. Hopefully, the v2 Hercules fixes that problem!

I use a 18mm FEMALE GLASS FITTING with a GLASS ASH CATCHER.
This looks really ugly however WAX through a WATER PATH is really nice.
There is many ways to do this as there isn't a right or wrong way.
Just a way.

The area I was medication before had a cement floor that was the worse for glass.
My carpenter gets here in a couple of hours and I can't wait to finish.

Will newer 1701 carts be compatible with the double top, Nibbler X, & Persei bubbler?
Will there ever be a manufactured stand for the Persei?
Would like some rough idea on "The Core" specs and possible release date.

Nuke Option:
My go to for cleaning is Zep Citrus Organic Drain and Disposal Cleaner....very cheap and works well to pull off everything. Use gloves when handling. I think I had a post in here on my results of a very hard to clean Bender.
Alternative:
Grunge Off Super Soaker over a 24 hour period. Less likely to pull off all the residue, less likely to strip graphics. Still use gloves.
Iso....eh...doesn't work well in the Bender IMHO....Still use gloves (noticing a trend here?)
PBW is also in the cleaning thread...haven't used it to clean the Bender but I bet the results would be about the same.
Oh....last tip....make sure to at least take a pic of it clean then run 2-4 bowls through the glass to ensure proper function.

Have searched multiple times and cant find how long you should INITIALLY charge the Persei batteries? I know the charger goes Green after they are charged, but for the FIRST charge do you need set a timer for like 8 hrs or something?

Nope...till it goes green than you are clear to launch!
Depending on source and age of battery, they may take 4 hours or just a quick 20 minute top off.

sweeet! yea i just got my Nibbler and extras today as well! if you meant you needed 2x18350, then yes, otherwise you'd need two perseis or a persei and the long tube from the SS kit and then you can use 2x18650. (hope you got aw imr)
on another note, the nibbler, DAMN! seriously. i feel like i've ripped D9 off again. at first i thought this thing was nice, if a little over-priced. 'til i hit it, Holy Crap!. no more messing w/tubes and adapters to get that nice cool hit. i've used this thing with D9 carts, darts, cera w/ normal mp, everything in my arsenal that uses that size cart hole. any "flavor" issues (that mostly are generated by overheating oil) are out the fuckin' window. i cannot rave about this thing enough.
suggestion for use: fill with a dropper, slight angle, as not to force water and air thru with a solid wall of water. can fill higher w/out risk of water going inside cart and can hit harder w/out water getting in mouth. mine is slightly higher than half full. this thing is genius. and now the hole in my collection is filled
EDiT - i have just had a great idea, we need to attach the nibbler to the bender, right?
(of course we do!) now, anyone have a GonG to whip adapter that is straight? i have the ECTWA from planetvape.ca, but they are angled. i actually pulled the tube off of my ECTWA 14mm, thru a plug adapter in the top of the bender so it fit and the glass tube of the GonG fit inside the Nibbler, perfectly! maybe gotta email those guys right now!
oh and i fill it up to just under halfway, not over

ordered my nibbler on thursday, right after the code was posted, and still waiting. thought for sure id get it today. I find it funny how i made another order on friday(the next day) from delta9 and it beat my first order by far; i got it on saturday. My second order was just some mouthpieces though. better luck tomorrow i guess!

i put .8ml in to start in the quad coil but I estimate you can put about 1.2ml in. I'll double check tomorrow. I couldn't get any vapor at 3.7v so I doubled up to 7 and it produced crazy clouds. Taste isn't the best but if you're looking for heavy vapor production this is it. 2 at once on the dual top is crazy clouds. Carts get really hot though. i don't know what I did wrong with my ss tank the first time but I dumped and cleaned it and now it's hitting great! Really good tank setup for anyone who uses ecigs or is thinking of quitting smoking cigarettes. Used the little ss tube with a single 18350 and the ss ejuice tank is a nice little setup....despite the chode remarks my girlfriend kept making.
Does anyone know if it would be safe to run a single cartridge on the dual top and just leave the other spot empty?

I personally designed this but the work is above and beyond 99% of the glass blowers that are out there, that is why it is expensive as work like this doesnt happen every day and it costs an arm and a leg to produce.
Ok back to the hercules. Its being worked out.

yes i believe its safe. Ive done so myself and have read posts of other members that have done the same, but i find my single cartridge head hits better than the dual cartridge head with just one cart by itself, so i'd rather just switch out the carts than run two persei's at the same time, as it is i have the ss kit and can do so, plus im getting a hammer top so ill be able to run three perseis! (the fuck????) if i wanted to, but will most likely be more drawn to the original single cart head.

Trying to get the hang of the Bender... and am quite medicated, though not due to skill Seems to really need a stir every so often, but it gets messy using the cotton to keep particulates out of the mouthpiece. I guess using a bit moist/fresh flower wouldn't be such an issue, but cleaning out the older jars when needing a mass of test material for further experimentation.
As far as Nibber + Bender... Check out the Vapor Brothers 19mm Water Adapter. I put an elbow screen from my Extreme-Q into the Water Adapter, it sits on top of the Bender, then the Nibbler nestles right onto the top. It's just a bit loose, but easy to make more stable with a rubber band or something (though I find it unnecessary). No pics yet, but I'm sure someone can figure this out

I've said it before, Persei + Iris + Nibbler-x = Joy. After using Nx for a while now I just hate the silicon mouthpieces. It's a beautiful hand made work of art and science.
But now I really dream of a leakless, clog-less, 1701 cart filled with Pure Gold with Iris v2 running it and Nibbler-X2 toping it off.
