Discontinued Vapir NO2

The Gulp thingy works for me, probably because I do not have to go out of my car with it. I have noticed that I had to put holes at the bottom of my cup to create airflow, the unit needs to breathe.

So far so good with it

Vapir is good ! Vapir is the best around. No matter what they tell me, don´t let them bash us.

Wow, are you really just here to bash the NO2?

If I stick a cleaning brush in ANY vaporizer when it is hot, the brush will melt.

I have seen NO vaporizer without any flaws. Discussing the flaws, and providing ways to get around them, is perfectly fine by me. I'm a bit taken back by the negative bashing tone of your posts, however.

Why would you stick a nylon brush in a hot vape? Some No2s have had issues most not Ive only had one that gets really hot and that was bought used and is almost 3years old.
I bought 10 from an ebay vendor not even a year ago and only had one with a problem that it ran cold and Vapir eplaced it.
And no problems with the rubber ring melting or overheating so far.
if you did melt your brush in your bowl get access to a dremmel with a fine stone bit. That bowl will shine like new.

... That is very dangerous. So why the hell Vapir gave us a potentially dangerous material to clean their device and don´t warn us ?
It is true you were not directly warned... Common sense and the Manual do both indicate turning off unit to open it, and closing it to heat it.
That would mean that if it is open for cleaning, it is turned off.
Perhaps you moved too fast from emptying the chamber of meds, after you turned unit off...
and tried to clean it too fast... before things could cool down a bit.

Apology:
Please feel free to ban me if there´s to much bashing and criticism in my words, first of all :sorry for ofending people with my review. I always know that that happens when I criticize an object that some consumers are in love and happy with it.

What is a forum for ?

What you expect me to be here for ? HAppy face afte inhaling rubber melted vapor ? Are you serious with your argument, because now after all the work I had I fell like Sh**, like if the blame is on me. Are you serious.

I´m really confused now..

Falvio, this forum IS a place to discuss both the strengths and the weakness of all the vaporizers on the market so that potential purchasers can make a wise purchasing decision. I mean, hell, if you go back in the beginning of this thread, I was just ripping the NO2 apart. I still have concerns about it, but others here really like it. I really think this forum is pretty fair and open to these kinds of discussion, but I have to take issue with you on the following quote:

As I told in my post:
"No indication on the manual that the brush that comes with No2 melts if you try to clean the device while it´s hot. So plastic sticks on the chamber !!!! That is very dangerous. So why the hell Vapir gave us a potentially dangerous material to clean their device and don´t warn us ?

It´s not the user/consumer that needs to search on a forum, it´s Vapir that has to tell us that on their manual, along with ´approved´ cleaning products. I thought this was a heath resistant brush, isn´t Vapir body a resistant meterial ? So I don´t think it´s logic blaiming the user, or expect that he researches elsewhrere for information ! And worst, why Vapir did not warn us ? It´s not ´you could have researched more´ issue: but why Vapir did not warn us ? Obligation, moral and logical obligation.

As someone previously stated, there are certain things that are just common sense and one of those common sense things is using a nylon brush on something that is very hot. These kinds of things will NEVER be covered in any manual and I really think that blaming Vapir for not including a warning of not using the brush on a hot NO2 is wayyy outside the bounds of reasonableness, and as such, it "seems" that you are picking on an issue that doesn't deserve to be picked on.

It would be like demanding a manufacturer of a gas stove to tell it's customers that they shouldn't touch the hot flame on their stove for if they do, they will burn their fingers. And then, if the manufacturer didn't specifically state this warning and someone burned their fingers, then the stove is faulty.

Hey Flavio ,
This all seems to stem from you melting the plastic bristles of the brush inside the HOT
chamber . I'll agree with you that maybe a metal bristle brush would have been better .
But as far as Not being mentioned and all , I believe this falls under " Common Sense "
category .

I did NOT stick my finger inside the HOT chamber to pull out any ABV ...common sense .

I have not heard/read that you use iso to clean it , maybe I missed that part ?
If you haven't , please do , I highly recommended .
I also use a pair of tweezers to help scrape off any hard goo along with the iso/q-tip .
It will/can make the chamber shining like brass new , also your mouth pieces and screens .

If this is your first vape and you are NOT happy with it .
No one can or will change your mind on the NO2 .
As stated , some of your issues has been disgusted already .

FC is a great forum .
How can we help you get the vape that you do want or desire ?

Implying that members are trolls is not nice and against the forum rules.
They... over populate the world. Companies really profit, no matter what.
Odd ?

I always clean my N02 out when its hot, usually immediately following my last hit. You can just tap the weed out when its hot, or use the wooden stick things they give you to clear the chamber.
What exactly did you expect to happen to the plastic when you exposed it to brass that's in excess of 350F?
If they need a warning for that then they also need one telling people not to swallow the small pieces included with the vape.

Edit: Not that it matters anymore... but its funny how Flavio was on your side until you disagreed with him.

Sorry... will not reply anymore ´ commom sense´ . No reply from me now on. Just need to know how to delete previous messages... and how to talk with forum admin, so I can erase my account and posts.

There's no reason to leave the forum. You can voice your opinion, you just have to be prepared for others to comment on what you say. This is the internet, everybody is entitled to say whatever they want.

I hope Flavio comes back... he is a thorough "blogger".. and did a nice lengthy piece... with good media too.
I would like to see him write about other things....
I think he just felt that his word was final, and did not expect any responses... or maybe did not feel that we were allowed to voice.
If he comes back, I will read his stuff.

Flavio, if you're still here and reading this, know this. No one's word here is final.............well, that is, except mine. <<<< (known to have intermittent bouts of delusions of grandeur)

Flavio will not be back. He requested we close his account. He apparently thought that everyone would automatically agree with his review and post nothing but praise. After getting a dose of reality he expressed fears of getting censored, banned, and sued. He's a perfect example of someone who can dish it out but not take it.

My hero

Actually, I will also admit that the more I learn, the more I'm not terribly happy with the plastic of the NO2... but it works, and I do know that at the usual temps, the plastic is pretty inert.

I am looking forward to trying an entire glass path, though, to see if I can tell the difference.

It would be lovely if Vapir could revamp the NO2 to incorporate a glass (or polycarbonate?) mouthpiece system...

I ended up buying a package of new cleaning brushes, myself. I did melt down my first (just a little bit).

Thanks Francis, now I know I posted the picture before I cleaned my table mess

Flavio, you should at least take credit for customer loyalty and do not be so hard on yourself

Almost there...
I have a question!

I had a Vapir NO2 for about 6 months and it worked perfectly for me.
Notice i said "For me"...
I decided to upgrade and so gave the NO2 to a friend that only smokes pipes or joints.
I went through how to use it, temps etc....
Today he calls me to say it is so harsh it is burning his chest and he is coughing like crazy.

Temps he was running was around 380 to 400.
He is using Sannie's Killing Fields that i grew and i know it is good smoke, not harsh at all.

My suggestions were to:
1- Turn the temp down to 360
2- Inhale slower
3- Shorter inhales because the vapor can be harsh if inhaled for too long in one breath
The last thing i reminded him off is that it is not a joint or a pipe and he needs to adapt to a different smoking style.
I will have him over on the weekend to have some lessons!

Anything else i can recommend to him??

That doesn't sound too out of the ordinary for the NO2.
Tell him to start at a lower temperature and work his way up from there, I usually start at 320 and work my way up to 363. In addition to taking smaller hits he can ghost his hits to make them a little smoother. The one thing that really works for me is don't seal your lips when you inhale so that you're getting some room temperature air along with all that hot vapor since the airpath is so short.

Last but certainly not least, my favorite way to enjoy the NO2 is to filter that shit through some water. Water cools and adds moisture to the vapor creating a less harsh vaping experience that in my opinion is significantly more enjoyable.

my big tips on using the Vapirno2 is a few things. I raised the bottom screen up. EXAMPLE, when you when you put your flowers into the Vapir, that screen that's on the bottom raise up so that the flowers aren't resting on the bed of the unit. on that unit I use it at about 370. also wait about 10 seconds each pull. if I think of anything else I will make sure to post. Great vape the Vapir No2. it's what brought me back to vaping. now I own 4 more after that lol
