Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I'm curious as to opinions of what to do concerning my next purchase of material... I have been using expensive herbs (1/2 oz) purchased at a time and was wondering if I should get a full oz of lesser quality for the same money. I guess I am asking if it is a waste to use high quality herbs because the Cloud works so well?

Go for it and let us know. It's kind of like putting Folgers in a high end espresso machine but who knows it might make it good enough for you.

IMHO it it always best to get the best. You need the trichs to get the clouds . I would do a side by side and go from there.

In memoriam: 2/28/13 - 4/20/13. Cloud DOA on 420 day! RIP little Cloud...
Oh the irony that this happened on 4/20, I never expected my first post here to be related to the death of my Cloud but here I am! My new Cloud S/N 2941 is exhibiting the dreaded blinking LED syndrome and no longer gets hot.
I just submitted a support ticket with VapeXhale, I hope they can take care of this ASAP as now I get to go through VAP withdrawal for the interim. Looks like my Mobius Ion Matrix will be drafted into doing bong duty for the duration!
I'd like some clarification:
It's my understanding that every newly purchased VapeXhale Cloud after Feb 16th will come with a 2 year warranty. Now does that refer only to the Cloud + units or any Cloud sold after Feb. 16th? My Cloud is the older model, has the 9ft. cord, rubber collar at the bottom of the bamboo, etc. Will my warranty repair automatically include the Cloud+ upgrade or will that cost extra ($150)? Considering my Cloud died after less than 2 months of relatively mild use I would hope for the Cloud+ upgrade at no further cost!

If you have a Cloud+, then they will fix it with a Cloud+.
If you don't have a Cloud+, it will cost $150 to upgrade, no matter when it broke.

Ideally you want enough to cover the screen at a minimum. Might need to rip the pressed hash into smaller chunks for that.I have some pressed hash (homemade) and kief around here, when you use the 2 cap method how much you put in there and to what temperature?
Just going to do some testing tonight
If there are gaps in the screen, the airflow will take the path of least resistance and would vape less effectively and evenly.
Note: At the end, if your kief clumps up or the pressed hash is in chunks, you'll probably benefit from stirring them around and exposing the insides for one last rip.

OK, so would it follow that if I decide NOT to upgrade, they will repair my unit with "original" parts and I would just be back to square one? I'd like to think they would replace any defective parts with parts having a greater degree of reliability than the original parts as it certainly doesn't help their bottom line to be repairing units under warranty that come back repeatedly because of inferior parts. I guess it would depend on what the point of failure is, i.e. PC board, heating coil, etc.
I'm still wondering considering I purchased my cloud after 2/16 if I have a one or two year warranty.

I will try first with some of the hash (I did it from the trim and small buds of my last harvest, it really good, it's a shame that I can't grow now
) Will try with some small chunks like SD_haze recomended. If I survive after it 
will try with some kief About temp, usually with my Cloud I vape herbs at 12 or 1:30 if I want a faster extraction. I think 3 will be a good starting point for the hash, what do you think guys? what temp you use in your Clouds?

4/20 has come and gone and there's still no international model available for purchase from the VXC site, or even anything written about one. Strange that they'd tell all their international distributors to wait for this date and then do nothing on it themselves.
(Although, going on the number of people that snagged them early from various places, it seems a lot of distributors didn't get told to hold them.)

Just informing everybody I FINALLY pulled a trigger on a cloud package (evolver Hydracirc pack.) Friday evening. I'd imagine I will be joining the family by mid to late, this week. Pics of my double filtered "devastator" to come upon arrival!
Should I grind my herbs to dust or a medium coarse grind works best? Using medium 2 piece space case

Thanks t-dub. That's great news because I'm coming from an SSV as my desktop vape and it seemed the finer the grind, the longer the sesh and denser clouds. This resulted in 3-5 minutes of grinding prior to me medicating... Pain in the ass when your knees are in serious pain and long day at work.
You guys always say to rip the shit out of it but let's say you choose to pull as you would with almost any other vaporizer, would it still milk up or is it required to get those type of results? Max temp is not combustion like the SSV right?

just hit some pressed kief in the the cloud via the two cap method yesterday for 420. Works just as good as some normal regular kief out of the grinder.
