What are your 4/20 plans?

I have 4 hours of Systems Analysis from 1pm-5pm :argh:

My usage is always mostly buds with just some concentrates sprinkled in. BUT for 4/20, I consider it my concentrate day! Definitely finishing the Sour Diesel kief tomorrow.

EDIT: Forgot about 710. Then I remembered on 4/20 I like using kief and hash all day with 710 being all about OIL.

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
I guess I'm in the minority here, but for me, I would find it odd celebrating a substance that I have used, off and on for over 40 years. I would find it odd to celebrate any substance. It's just as odd to me as naming a piece, which many do also.

Maybe it's my age, but I just don't get it. What is it about cannabis that deserves a special day of celebration? It's just weed.

I mean, I would understand it, if on 4/20, cannabis became federally legal and all those that were in prison for MJ possession were released. THAT would be a day to celebrate. But just to celebrate the existence of a hallucinogen? Why? I mean, every time we light up, or vape up, isn't that kind of a celebration in and of itself?

I know. I'm being a buzz kill here. Just speakin' off the top o mah head is all.

Happy 4/20 lwien! :p

SSVUN~YAH,
As a daily smoker for 30 years my way of making today special is to pull out all the stops and get so high I have to hold on to the floor to avoid falling of the edge of the planet. It's getting harder to get "there" as I age so I do the only responsible thing...eat some blotter acid and break out the slip-n-slide!

I'll be going to visit my puppy at the animal hospital tomorrow. Once I get home I'll be getting so stoned and just relaxing because it has been a fucked up week.
Sorry to hear about your puppy DS. I love my dogs more than I like most people and it kills me when they get sick or hurt. On the bright side this fucked up week is damn near over, here's to the next one being better!

Just gonna be going to my home clinic for free food and good deals, then work later in the day. Well since we got on the topic of Dogs heres my Animals, The black one likes getting vaped and goes hunting with me/ retrieves my birds(not at the same time) so i have a pretty special relationship with that one, so she will definately get a 420 sesssion before I go to work. The white one doesn't seem interested in it so i dont force it on him.

labrador pointer, she will point at birds and the tennis ball when she wants me to throw it lol

Nice one Yeeebuddy! Love labrador!

Nothing really special for me on this day. Except i found out yesterday today will be 4/20. Here there isn't such a passion for this "time/number". But anyway that's one more reason to get vapor heads on this sunny afternoon! With a few beers aswell and a football game, Allez! Have a nice day everybody!

gonna get out early and hit the sales, then home for 'toons and tokes
my wife doesn't normally partake often (cramp week being the major exception), but since it's on a saturday this year she is gonna come play with me. that alone is enough for celebrating for me.
just as she loves watching me get blasted on booze (something i rarely do) few things are a larger treat than watching that no tolerance smile come and stay planted on her face.
happy 4/20 all!

It may be because I have been in this culture for over 4 decades, that I am a bit jaded. Hell, I don't even think I'm part of the culture anymore. My being here has more to do with my fascination with vaporizers as a tool, more than the celebration of the weed...

....Now where was I? :uhh:

Yep, and these tools we're discussing are a part and product of cannabis culture; people who were in to smoking got together and figured out how to do this thing better. I guess I mean culture not as a group of people being celebratory about a certain hallucinogen, but culture as in any group of people who implement in daily life some shared practice and devote time, interest, and resources to that practice, sometimes communing with one another, trading, or sharing for mutual benefit.

But fair enough, Iwien. It's all sorts that come to this plant. Speaks to it's diversity!

Beautiful pups everyone! Don't forget to get them their munchies, too.

I have thought the same thing lwien, glad it's not just me.

as a daily needs user who spent his youth in and out of incarceration due to dirty UAs as well as it being a major bone of contention within my household growing up, as well as having worked on legalization and expansions of medicinal rights for cannabis, this holiday has personal value. not in a frat/jock/ dumber side of stoner way, but in a solidarity kind of way. as an older smoker i'd think you'd understand that more than most, lwien. this meant more back when people didn't tell everyone they met that they smoked, for fear of incarceration, but also in fear of being looked down on. when smokers where in the closet. a theme of many of a hempfest over the past two decades was for smokers to come out of the closet, just like gays and gamblers did. now it's not a big deal if someone comes out as a gambler, gay, or ganja lover, but that doesn't mean that we still can't value the solidarity of knowing that while "i" may have to hide it from my family, friends, coworkers, etc. at 4:20 i am united with the brothers and sisters of our cannabis cult. i also toke for solidarity for the GIANT prison population, the majority who are for in minor possession charges. i am one of the few in my circle of many stoners who values this day/time as much, but i paid a heavier price than any of them ever did. my perspective, no hating. only love, 'specially today. peace

Amen.

To the People who payed off politicians and the privatized prison industry see as nothing more than paydirt.

For me, I never did hide it from my family, friends and co-workers. All my friends and co-workers indulged in weed amongst other things and while I didn't toke up when I was with family, they knew that I dabbled. Hell, when I was a district manager of a clothing chain, I'd go around and pack everyone's nose about once a week as a perk. I was a productive hippy and didn't do much to hide that fact. I lived the lifestyle, so for me, there was no hiding it. I mean, I was smart about it and never smoked in front of the cops, but I sure did at concerts every weekend. Never even came close to getting incarcerated, so for me, the paranoia of all that totally escaped me.

am happy for you, but you might reflect on today of how, just a few states away, people who didn't want opiates for pain went to jail for life for possession of any amount of cannabis. and smile and think of all of those who AREN'T in jail right now due to the efforts of activists.
peace and good vapors

Oh, I do, and that's why I said this on my first post in this thread: "I mean, I would understand it, if on 4/20, cannabis became federally legal and all those that were in prison for MJ possession were released. THAT would be a day to celebrate."

We're here to fuck shit up.
This is our baby Bell. 1 year old and 10 pounds of jet black Dachshund. She was basically paralyzed all week due to an impingement between her C1 and C2, right behind the brain. So after about a week, a surgery to fuse the vertebrae, and a shit ton of money, she's resting comfortably and will be home in a couple days.

Today, I will be mixing, bud, wax, and kief bowls all day. Archer and Always Sunny will be my viewing choices.

The term "weed" refers to a plant that is unwanted, that is growing somewhere it isn't intended to.
Between Hemp and the cancer preventative properties of cannabis, I believe what many scientists call a "miracle plant" has been done an injustice being labeled "weed" by prohibition profiteers.
The fact that the government has kept this from us for the almighty dollar increases my desire to rally the masses to get educated on it. If 420 can be a catalyst in moving the data, then let's celebrate it!

All due respect and props lwien, IMO it's not just weed.

Back on thread, I hope you all have a fun, peaceful, day, and more so, I hope reason continues to move across the nation towards liberty!
My plans for 4/20 are to buy The Cloud.

Just got back from The Body Shop. This is my small hemp collection! I forgot to put my hemp lip balm in the pic. Four bottles of hemp hand wash, hemp body butter, hemp hand protector, hemp hand butter, hemp hand oil, and hemp moisture high balm.

I have 4 more bottles of hemp hand wash coming from an online order I placed yesterday too. :D

I believe 4/20 is a holiday to celebrate this wonderful plant, and all that it has done, and can do for us all!! :)

Yes. Your body has an endocannabinoid receptor system for a reason and each cannabis strain plays a unique "tune" on that system. Want proof? My blood pressure. I have HARD data in the computers that shows cannabis lowers my high blood pressure to the point where I don't have to take Micardis any more. Shortly after cannabis cessation, my BP goes back up into the bad range, then back down after I start vaping again. Throw in the anti nausea and pain relief qualities etc and this plant becomes more, to me at least, than just an intoxicant.
