Discontinued Inhalater XP

Yessir! It sure is.

I found that you can just take a deep breath and get a really good hit too, you dont really have to "hit it" or "suck it" at all. It really is just an inhaler, ater...

edit- hate to mention it again, but have to cause it is relevant.
As for repair issues between pax and xp, they are really still there. A member I sold my pax to just hit me back up and told me has a blinking blue light problem?? His new pax is unusable.. So that would be the 2nd time "my" Pax would need service..

Just sayin, dont be turned away from the XP.. its a great vape, and all vapes do have problems.

I hope ours lasts, knock on something. I love the airflow on the XP with the water pipe adapter. I use the inhalater directly on my 14mm glass and on the in 18mm I use one of the mouthpeices with a Thermovape Water Pipe adapter on the end (a 14mm actually) but it seals up nicely against the 18mm downstem on the FC lattice bubbler.

The Solo darkens a load very very well. The bottom layer being blacker than the rest. The amazing thing about the INH is that it achives almost uniform extraction through out. Even darker than the solo. I'm splitting hairs here, both units extract leftovers from other vaporizers very well indeed.

If anything the ABV load seems darker by the mouthpiece end not the end by the heater in the bottom of the chamber. Its very very even coloration on the ABV.

So far so good...

From using my XP over the past week and a bit, I found my two favorite ways to hit it are short sharp inhales (about 4 or 5 per hit, just waiting a couple seconds in between to let it heat back up) or slowly inhaling without letting it cool down enough for the light to start blinking. I found that these ways tend to produce the most vapor for me.

I will hit like sometimes like that and all my friends do. Try hooking a short length of whip tubing to the INH for a little cooling. I will sit on the couch and puff on it as you describes with my little tube.

Well Pharmacor has come through in spades again. Once the new batch of components comes in they will be shipping me a new unit. I can't say how much I love their customer service. I wish some of the other businesses I dealt with had half the customer focus as they do. Thank you Pharmacor!!!

Anyone having problems with keeping it on while its plugged in after the battery is drained? After mine runs out of batteries and I plug it in to charge and turn it back on, the ready light will blink a few times then dim and shut off with only the charging light on. Additionally, how many capsules can u guys go through before it runs out of batteries?

If it is anything like the 04 then if you drain your battery you have to wait. The INH is battery operated so it has to have juice to run. It can't charge as fast as you deplete it so that is your issue.

Yeah thats what I thought, but I remember reading somewhere that with the xp you can hit it while its charging with no problems

You can hit the 04 while charging as well but at some point you can't cause you are using more battery then the wall plug is filling it back up. My guess is, cause this is not my forte', is that the plug isn't a pass through it just enables both operations charging and using at the same time but you are still working off the battery not the AC outlet.

You have to let it sit on the charger for about 30 minutes if you want to use it when its completely dead.
Dead XP > plug in for 30 minutes > THEN you can enjoy while charging.

I typically get 8 sessions, all on HIGH until my ABV is black like.

Dang my battery dies after 4 capsules @ 12-15 hits each @ 4-6 temp range.

any way to avoid that auto shutoff? Mine will shut off even though Ill be hitting it regularly

Can someone post the temperature ranges (1-8) for the new inhalater xp? This information didn't come in the booklet. Thanks

Got this directly from Pharmacor:

On hot units, max temperature is 229 Celsius. Min temp is - 60
Celsius from Max temp. Dial temperature corresponds to proportional
variation between min and max.

Hope this answers your question
Let me know
Best regards
Greg

How do I know that I received a hotter unit? I received mine 8 days ago, and it seems normal. My bud still comes out yellowy light brown at a 5/8, probably blackish at 7 or 8.

eggowafflez,
You probably have one of the good ones, but does it really matter? Either way you'll look at the different levels and choose where you like it at. Its not like you're going to take the opinion of us online, because we all have different opinions. Does it really matter if the number you decide on is 2 or 6?

Oh I should have mentioned why I want to know the temperatures. I'm interested in vaping other herbs aswell (i.e. Lemon balm, Chamomile etc.) These herbs require different temperatures for vaporization which is why I am curious about the different temperature settings.

I'm sure if you email Pharmacor, Greg will tell you. It would be most appreciated if you posted his response here.

It needs to charge about 30 minutues if its dead before it seems to work off the USB. I was testing this with a new 2.1 amp charger. need to try the ipad charger as well.....

Hows the knob turning out for you?

I am pleased with my replacement XP so far, I believe its been 2 1/2 weeks and its performing top notch.. Best portable LL I've used yet. So convenient and easy. My knob hasnt gotten any looser, its still as stiff as the day I got it.

I havent experienced any type of bugs AT ALL.. 0, zip, nada. It comes on and works as its supposed to and I am pretty pleased.

The updated XP is so lightweight and small it barely feels like its in your pocket, its like a Sharpie XL lol. It conserves my bud very well, I can have a 3 minute session, turn it off and come back to it later for another 3 minutes.. then another 3 minutes.. And all I've done is turned a knob on and off, no stirring or anything.. So we can say it works VERY well for road trips. :smug:

It hasnt been more than a month yet so we will see how it holds up as time progresses. The weather keeps getting nicer in WA and I cant wait to go out on trips/adventures with my XP.

havent had a chance to work on the knob yet. i will this weekend though.

and i agree w/ everything you said. i dont remember exactly when i got my XP but mine is working perfectly since day one. its been a little over a month now i think. hands down the best portable on the market currently. the ascent may have something to do about that though...?

the ease of use and cloud production is rediculous. friends with no vaping experience get huge clouds with almost no effort at all. the ONLY negative i have found is that the taste does not last as long as say a Solo, but for the stealthness i dont mind giving up a little flavor.

XP runs the portable game as of now IMO.

I use mine the same way. usually i'll get 3 sessions or so out of it at least.

Sounds great man glad to hear your replacement been kicking ass since it arrived, fingers crossed.

I am so confused about when to receive my replacement, it has been a month already and I know they must be busy but I sent them a message to know how much time left till it ships but no answer.

How long did it took for you guys to receive the replacement?

At this point if feel it safe (for me !!) to say that I like my 004 over my xp.
Maybe I have a unit that runs hotter than other units but I am able to get
near black abv in little over half a session on setting 3.
I do two 9 minute sessions on 5 with my 004, no coughing, visible clouds where
as with the xp, I'll cough myself inside out, I do get factory chimney type clouds with the xp
but that's not what I'm after so not really important.
Is this normal for these xp's or is mine running very hot?
I like the fact it's a bit smaller and heats a bit faster etc, I still like this unit but it
feels like I'm going to have to use it on 1 max

if its too hot on 3 then you def need to turn it down. i also have the hotter calibrated XP but i love it. i start my sessions on 1... sometimes even less than 1. when using with water i use 2 or 3.

if you dont like the idea of that then you can always have it replaced by the warranty. im quite sure that pharmacor will exchange any hot XPs for the newest versions for customers who dont like the hot ones.

Nah, I still like it more then enough so I'm going to keep it and use it on 1, you never know I might like the higher temps later on. (plus shipping back and forth from Belgium isn't that cheap)
