Discontinued Inhalater XP

Inhalater

The computer shuts down after 5 blinks if it does not register temperature rise in the chamber.

If this is the case, it is generally caused by faulty power lead to the heating chamber.

We definitively respect across border shipping concerns. Feel confortable that we will operate accordingly.

I recently had the chance to try out my new XP for the first time, after being away from home for the last two months. It was a unit from one of the initial batches sent out, and had an issue with temperature control where it just wouldn't heat up.
After contacting Greg @ Pharmacor the issue was quickly dealt with in the most professional manner imaginable, I couldn't ask for better support of a newly released product.

Cheers

And this is another reason you guys kick so much ass!! You cannot get better customer support than this, I'll be in touch.

I'm sorry to hear about everyone having problems with the Inhalater, I hope they get the issues resolved quickly as I agree it does seem better than the Pax when it does work.

Given the continued issues I'm happy to have gone with the Pax for now but will definitely want to try an Inhalater once the issues are solved.

I'd be really happy if we could set a word filter that could prevent people from mentioning the pax in any way in this thread. There is no valid reason for people to continually bring it up, like pakalolo said not even 2 pages ago, there is a whole thread for discussion about it there. Comparisons should be relegated to their own threads, and this thread should be about discussion of the inhalater solely.

1st time buyer and very happy so far with my new INH XP just arrived today OMG OMG OMG.... I have read this entire thread while waiting for my XP to ship. I in fact recently went out to a LHS and purchased my very 1st vaporizer after combusting for 40 years...since no one had any INH's I went with a VB2 w/WT.....{I understand bringing up a diff vape is a No No}
Within a week maybe 2 I was transformed into a vaping snobe before I knew what hit me and was no going to do my very best to covert / enlighten my GF.... the stories gonna jump back on track now...
So just days after my ordering 2 of your XP's my VB2 joins the ranks of the "not working" {Friday night 9pm EST} OMG it slowly sinks in that I have to you know what....Yuk gross nothing short of an asault on your lungs after seeing the light......
So as I mentioned I have read the thread and there was talk of burning off residue &/or clove oil anyway also remembered that empty chamber wasn't desired either so I used ABV from the VB2 and this is why I have been thus far blown away by this unit OMG OMG OMG it has shown me how much I have lost throwing away my ABV since the beginning of March.....
I of course have my fingers crossed that neither of my units {his & hers} experience any of the issues as I feel the grit feeling in the switch as well {almost feels like it might be from arching} just something I feel and only while making an adjustment up in temp.

so far I just love this thing and the thing I walk away with from my experience combined with some of the new threads I am reading...... When the new manufacture switches come in and I read good QA reports than I will be needing to buy a back up INH straight away..... so so happy right NOW......

Thank you so very much my Canadian brothers........ A....... Cheers

Comparisons by definition involve more than one device, and it's only normal that they be done in a thread for either of the devices being compared. These 2 vapes are also among the top best portable vapes so it's only normal to compare them. Sounds like you're just frustrated about the issues.

I believe the mods have already spoken on this issue:

Enough about the Pax. If you want to discuss the Pax we have a whole thread for you. It's not this one.

I got my replacement on Saturday, it is a 2 holed hex bottom XP.. Man this thing is nice, short compared to the first one I got and the 004, it really is small enough and doesnt need to get any smaller cause it hides perfectly in my palm. I do like the 4 holes better because there is no wind noise when you inhale, but then again the 2 holed XP doesnt cool down as much and you dont have to wait for the blinking light as long.

It came with that oil stuff on it, smelled weird but I did a couple burn offs anyway, no weird vapor comin out or plastic smells or anything.. Greg told me they were testing my unit a lot so I didnt expect anything funny.

I have been using it daily since I got it and I am enjoying it again, hits great and it actually seems like its hotter cause if I go past 8 I can basically get some really dark ABV [almost black], as always burned evenly, ZERO stirring. I sold off my Extreme Q after I got it, the XP was putting up comparable clouds to the Extreme Q at 500F with an elbow pack, yep it kept me as satisfied as my home vapes.

I just hope it holds up thats all, Pharmacor was a little slow to get it to me but in the end I appreciate it cause they paid for the shipping from Canada.. If I think about it, if I had to send the XP back it would take a week, another week or 2 to repair, another week to get back to me.. So a month actually isnt bad at all and thats how long it took for a replacement to get to me, except I didnt have to ship my broken one back and wait. Instead they just hooked me up with a new one.

[had to use my old sticker cause the replacement came naked with "inhalater" sticker on it..]

On the contrary, I do not even own an XP. I completely disagree with you, the only reason it is normalcy for direct comparisons to happen in this thread are because of the people like you who disregard the rules and previous moderator interventions about the problem and post anyways. Ask FC exists for a reason...

But hey, since we're making baseless accusations - it sounds to me like your not fully validated by your purchase of the Pax and want to justify the purchase of it to yourself by continually comparing it to this vaporizer unfavorably. Which is fine - we see it all the time. But this isn't the thread to do this in.

Actually it's not a no-no, occasional references to other devices is normal and unavoidable. What I understand CentiZen to be frustrated by is the repetitive posts that compare the XP and the Pax and then lead to a string of posts about the Pax that have no content about the XP whatsoever. That's certainly what I was referring to.

Sounds like you're just frustrated about the issues.

But hey, since we're making baseless accusations...

This kind of exchange is even less welcome than posts exclusively about the Pax. Personal remarks are unnecessary and can easily earn infraction points.

i have actually been covering one of the two holes on my XP intentionally with great results. plenty of air flow and even less temp drop than the two holes. been using my finger to cover and experiment.

my XP is pretty amazing.

Yessir! It sure is.

I found that you can just take a deep breath and get a really good hit too, you dont really have to "hit it" or "suck it" at all. It really is just an inhaler, ater...

edit- hate to mention it again, but have to cause it is relevant.
As for repair issues between pax and xp, they are really still there. A member I sold my pax to just hit me back up and told me has a blinking blue light problem?? His new pax is unusable.. So that would be the 2nd time "my" Pax would need service..

Just sayin, dont be turned away from the XP.. its a great vape, and all vapes do have problems.

My XP has been having some issues again. It had previously stopped working on me and then mysteriously started working again. WHen it stopped turning on for me a couple days ago I thought I would try some gentle tapping and pushing on the sides and dial to see if I could get it to turn on since I figured there was probably a short somewhere in the wiring. I was pleased to discover that if I push in on the knob it comes back to life! It was also not always charging, but pushing in on the knob gets the charging light to come on too. Once I can get it to turn on it seems to stay on just fine so for now I am pushing in on the knob as I turn it on and it works every time. This isnot acceptable as a long term solution, but hopefully I can keep it working long enough until the new switches come out and these issues get sorted out. Then I will send it in for repair. I do still have a perfectly working INH but I prefer the XP because I can produce much better clouds with it.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
If it was that simple I would have done it myself. There have been issues since these things started selling of sellers have them listed as instock or out of stock wrongly as well as starts and stops by the mfg. Hence my question.

But thanks for your helpful response.

Hey Sonics glad to see that you got your XP back. My stormtrooper had the switch malfunction and I tried to fix it myself but the cable came off and been waiting for my replacement since then.

Did they send you a tracking # for your replacement?

Enjoy your new XP!

DBVn00b,
From using my XP over the past week and a bit, I found my two favorite ways to hit it are short sharp inhales (about 4 or 5 per hit, just waiting a couple seconds in between to let it heat back up) or slowly inhaling without letting it cool down enough for the light to start blinking. I found that these ways tend to produce the most vapor for me.
