Aww man, I feel so bad for you guys :ugh:. I've looked mine over at least over a hundred times since yesterday. It is absolutely flawless. I cannot find a single blemish.

It is two caps from the EZ Load Bowls (elbs) for the Cloud pushed together. You put kief or hash in between the two caps and attach it to an elb base. There is more info about it to be found in the Cloud thread. Works very well, unless there is a restriction after the joint :lol:.

Contacted ALT, they say they can't do a straight exchange, only exchange for something else or issue a refund. I don't know how this made it out the door, with the reputation that Mobius has for quality.

Too bad the guy who inspected my bubbler before shipping didn't pull it and get another one overnighted to them to fill the order like they did for C-weed.

Any advice on what I should

one of my friends just said the exact same thing the other day :rofl:

I got this gifted to me by one of my patients as I am a caregiver over here in Michigan.
I think it was 1K or a little under that.
I am currently trying to get my partner to grab it off me so I can get this new piece I just fell
in love with the other day, but I can't bear to not see her everyday. :bowdown:

Mobius update.....ALT called me today, and told me to expect a tracking number within 2 hours. I was told that my piece was inspected by two people prior to departure..and apparently no problems this time. hopefully i will be running my nano through it saturday....i just hope that the ion matrix arrives all in one flawless piece.

Good to hear bud. Glad ALT is taking care of you and hopefully you get a nice piece in time for 4/20. Mine should be here Wednesday. I can't wait for it to arrive and hope all is well with my order.

Question, I got a Matrix Ion from ALT last week and when it is sitting on its base with bowl inserted, only about 6-8 total slits fire. Would you consider that defective? There are also some imperfections around the base lip on the underside. Unfortunately catches my eye. Any of you have similar "blemishes" around the lip? Thanks in advance for your input.

All the holes on top of the perc should be firing. Sounds like Mobius is having some serious QC issues just like that rooster guy.

It was hard, but I ended up sending mine back. Couldn't deal with the two tiny chips/holes whatever they were. I guess they really must be having QC problems from all the reports here.

Good luck, C-weed. You're probably fine since two different people inspected yours. And I'm jealous. :)

Pffr must be horoble to finally get your funds together for a piece of art only to get one that has defects...Even if these are minor, the money being paid for them does not allow this. For this price everything should be very much spot on...

still there are some pieces here that definately will make one drewl...

hope all gets resolved, and as a possible future buyer I am happy these things come to light here, even if it is not what I, nor any of us as far as I can guess, would like to hear...

i agree these pieces are pretty costly. I was wondering i have a clear matrix bub is it fine to hold it when cleaning it from the mouthpeice? is the joing strong enough from the mouthpiece to the can usually? Any tips for cleaning it? Also to the bottom two rings of hols every fire through?

Mobius update......i just picked her up. flawless work from what i can see so far. Although there is some sort of hazy film inside the can, very close to where the water line should be. Is it normal for blown glass to look this way? it looks like a glass from the dishwasher with that kinda soapy haze....i think water will wash it away. i just didnt know if they fill them up and try them out or something.like i said the glasswork is perfect...but not crystal clear, like i would expect. and as i said, it was right around the water line. now that i look really hard...its pretty faint and looks like a water line. should this piece be crystal clear inside or can handblown glass have this slight haze? im afraid this has been cleaned and sent to me. Edit.....after filling with some water,i am more than satisfied with this piece....i was being a bit picky.When you guys said no drag you meant no drag.WOW! i am more than impressed with this thing. nor have i ever drawn through a piece with such little resistance. man it was worth the wait.:tup:

hmm I myself would be more then happy if I would be sure they tested them before shipping them out, don't know if that would be something to be afraid of...:2c: chances are a little cleaning will make it disappear;) euh or at least the hazy stuff, hopefully not the entire piece.

I am sure you'll be having fun during the weekend:science:
