I start with a CE4 due to the adapter that comes with it.
After 1.5 to 2 grams I use the same adapter and put on new CARTOMIZER I pick up from the local Smoke Shop for $9.00 (Long wick six of them) various colors as well.
I have PURE GOLD everyday.
FAST and FURIOUS!
My 2.4 cart is loaded with LOUIS XIII Brittle. "TASTY"
Also loaded and ready is a 5.0 cart with GIRL SCOUT COOKIES HONEYCOMB WAX, "POWERFUL"!
The BENDER is loaded with a gram of HELLS ANGELS OG FLOWERS.
SOLO stems loaded with DDT OG.
KIEF PELLETS with WAX DRIPS in a BENDER or SOLO.
When I go to sleep I don't need AMBIEN C.
The HERCULES V2 will be welcomed!

hey guys havent been to forums for a while, I got the v1 hercules back when it was first announced to be able to purchase but could never figure out how to get it to work well with my waxes. It would always burn it up after 3 hits. Does the hercules v2 fix that and is there a way i can ship my hercules to swap it out?

It is only for the cartridges...not hercules. I bought a nibblerx a couple weeks ago. Glass quality is very high and the percolaters function extremely well. Honestly I love it. Its not something u want to travel with but at home its great. The flavor is top notch and it does a great job of cooling the vapor making it more manageable to take larger rips. As a bonus the nibblerx rly helps the user too by showing you how much vapor is being drawn through the glass. I still think its priced a little high but the device is great and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The HAMMER TOP is a nice addition.

Isn't the Hammer a 7.4v attachment? Are you using the longer SS tube w/ 2 18350's?
I've heard the NX is almost mandatory for really great, smooth, and tasty hits. I imagine it's got less buzz because everyone's so excited for the new Herc and the NX is on the pricier side so less probably have it. Basically, it's a choice between a new super cart or a water filtration piece for the already existing carts so you can see why that is.
If you're looking for taste, cooler hits, and a way to see how much vapor you're making, it's a nice pick up.

so theres alot of videos up on youtube, more and more each day. Alot of people use the white cartridge top as a mouthpiece. Just tried it right now and it seems to works just fine. It makes storing the cart not even a problem.

Any sure fire ways to check if your Persei top is faulty? Don't have a multimeter atm.
I think I've got a problem with either my top or the batteries. After about 15 good hits on a fresh charge, the blue ring light on the Persei head starts to flicker. Sometimes with the 3 flashes, but mostly it's that when I depress the button, the light is faint and flickering compared to normal.
When low on battery, the unit head still blinks thrice after / during a press, and this flickering happens way too often and way too soon after charging for me to believe that the batteries are drained.
If this were just an aesthetic issue I'd be okay, but I think my carts are being negatively effected?
I've got two 1.5's and a 2.4 going, all were loaded close to perfectly, were easy to draw from with heavy production, and no leaks. Then the flickering started and all of a sudden I have clogs and leaks and I'm not doing anything differently.
Anyone else experience the same?

You do realize those two don't go together, right? If it's not discharged why does charging make it good for a dozen hits?
I smell battery or charger. The only other thing I can think of is not enough tension from the spring adjustment? Otherwise, how does the Persei know it's time to take a dive?

What doesn't go together? Did you mean that it doesn't make sense for me to charge batteries that are already charged?
What I meant by that is, after I know I should charge a battery (web recommends recharging after discharging to 80%), I do so. Takes about 2-4 hours to charge fully. Afterwards, the Persei acts completely normally for a certain time (usually about 15 hits) and then starts flickering.
I have not stopped after this flickering occurs. I chalked it up to maybe a fault LED-ring and have been doing so about 2 recharge cycles now. I notice, though, that when this flickering business started (about a week ago) my cart performance went down. Each is filled w/ .4-.5 wax, never overheated (I keep a finger on the cart to see how hot it gets), there's nothing I can think of.
Upon inspection, the charger has a slight oily / acid build up on the metal tracks where the adjustment platform slides. I take it this isn't normal? By slight I mean visible only upon close inspection.

Yup, that's what I mean all right. If you're fully charging (normal time for a discharged battery) and yet getting such modest service before the Persei faults out from apparent low voltage something is not Kosher. Persei has no way of knowing it's fresh charged except by voltage. We can assume that giving it a fresh charged battery will set it straight every time? To me that says we have a battery (capacity) or charger (not charging fully or correctly) issue.
Do you have more than one battery or another charger? This is a Persei, don't you have a pair of 18350s?

The SSL tube with 2 x 18350's worked really well.
After I get some glass fittings sorted out I want to get a NIBBLER X.
Today I had a group of surfers who are joint burners try my PERSEI fitted with a 5.0 cart and 2 x AW IMR 18350s filled with GIRL SCOUT COOKIES WAX. 2.4V I like however if your a stoner a 5.0 might do the trick?
These guys burn at least a OZ of FLOWERS per week. The PERSEI got theses guys medicated to the MAX!
One comment from one of the surfer stoners was this thing is way more powerful than a e-cig.
No time for the BENDER the CART full of WAX was a lot already!

Tonight I was cleaning a glass dome cake cover (EXPENSIVE) when I dropped it on the GRANITE COUNTER TOP pieces everywhere all over the kitchen. After I cleaned up the damage my wife asked me why I had so many expenses on my credit cards? I told her to replace all the glass fittings I have broken on the concrete floor where I medicate. After breaking wine glasses and a cake dome she gets it. Now she knows why I put down EVA flooring in my medication area. I really need to make friends with a glass blower!
I had this drawer full of glass now all trashed including more solo stems. Getting low on glass. This is why I haven't bought a MOLIBUS Shower Head Water Pipe. Once I can build a decent medication room with 2" padded floors then I can get better devices glass wise. I have dropped my PERSEI's a few times however I have been lucky and they still work well!

Im experiencing something like this also but mine started once I switched to the aw imr 700 batts. Seems like im blowing carts left and right, one 1.5 and one 5.0 both with fresh fills. I thought it was the top also but when I take the blown cart off and put another fresh filled one on it works. So for me I know its the carts. I only use the ss in its short form with one trust fire and only use the aw's when using the double cart 5.0 and will be using the same set up once the Bender gets here

An idea for THC...a bottom cap that doubles as a stand for the Persei. It would just be a cap with a larger diameter on the very bottom...say 2-3 times larger. A screw in stand...get it? This would be great for home use and when you're on the go...switch it out for the original black cap. Gonna have a buddy machine one for me but I would still buy a more finished product.
