Well I got my I inhale yesterday and I am not happy with it at all. I am not sure if it is working properly or not. I only get 2-3 small hits of visible vapor from a full bowl, that pre heated for 10 mins. I vaped 4 bowls and felt the effects mildly to moderately. It seems that if it got hotter this thing would be awesome. After the 4 bowls i took the vaped herb and put it in the extreme and then got nice thick vapor at my regular temp 280c gen 1. The e hit for 15 mins plus with already vaped herb. Can anyone tell me if they are getting visible vapor from there i inhale? I have also tried 3 different types of herb and nothing from all 3.

You're the first I-inhale owner I've heard from that's dissatisfied. Quite a few buyers at 420magazine.com are happy with it. Don't get hung up on visible vapor unless you're sitting in light that shows it easily. I get some good hits from it, and yes, visible vapor, but I don't have to see vapor to know I'm getting high, and it is a pretty small bowl. I don't preheat for even 5 minutes. I certainly wouldn't preheat for 10 min. with a loaded bowl. I get good hits after the initial 90 sec. heatup, especially if the bowl is already loaded. You don't say how much you're loading, but I've gotten more than 2-3 hits off as little as .1g. As with any vape, it depends on how much you want to nurse the hits after the initial tasty ones. Try varying your draw. Make sure you're not hitting it too hard. Removing the moisture condenser from the 2 piece mouthpiece also increases air flow.

Edit: changed '90 min. heatup' to '90 sec.'

You mean it doesn't take 90 min. to warm up?

Yeah, I had still had 'minutes' on the brain and in my typing fingers. That's what I get for not proofreading my post. :bang:

i got a good question for you......so theres 3 good pages of hype for this thing i will not doubt that but how well will this thing work long term? will it be rugged like a PD( just kidding :p ) but how durable is it? will parts break over years? it would be rough to buy this and in the first year or two have to fix it or totally scrap it because its un-fixable(undisclosed secrets on how it runs sounds expensive to fix :ko: )

Its a good point you make Hennessy ... and one I believe is the biggest problem with Vapes up until now. That is - reliability. The 7th floor products, warez, purple-days and a few others seem to have there shit together regarding longevity of there vapes.

The i-inhale sports some pretty amazing technology but only timw will tell if this thing lasts or not.

Monkey and Max gotta go hard with theres so we can see if they break

The warranty is two years, and we don't know what they'll charge for a repair after that. A good question for Mr. I-inhale I think. Some manufacturers have a very reasonable repair charge ($25-50). Hopefully this vape will be reliable and they'll make it cheap to replace/fix if it does break down out of warranty.

I'm testing on a daily basis vc. It's a tough job but I'm willing to make the sacrifice. ;)

Hey, just used my i-inhale in SF outside of an ice cream shop. I do have a mmj card, so technically I wasn't doing anything wrong, but i still like to be discreet. I just turned on the unit, let it warm up in my jacket pocket, and then took occasional hits while my wife got ice cream and dessert. We were with a couple of friends that didn't know what I was doing and said that they couldn't smell anything funny (they were smoking cigarrettes tho). Anyhow, just thought I'd share this experience for people that may want to use this for stealthy purposes

If I was in the market for a portable, this would be my main vape of interest.

It won't give you the CREAM like the PD but it will deliver THC, no buyer's remorse here, I support this machine. One thing tho, I think you have to finish off your herb once you heat it up. I turned it off after a few minutes and it was all brown inside and I hadn't even vaped.

i wouldn't even be here if i only could finish half a vape bowl

i also like how the unit heats up in only a couple of minutes where as the PD takes 30 minutes....oh well im just lazy as fuck and the PD prolly wont start vaping on its own while its in the bowl with me being in the other room taking a shit ahahahah :p :2c:

I've left a stem sitting in my already up to temp PD and after 20 or so minutes it had been auto-vapped  I had only taken one draw from it and the result of it sitting in the heat exchanger certainly turned the herb quite brown. Seems like the i-inhale and PD do have some similairities

i think this happens with any enclosed bowl vape, if i let my Vapolution with the bowl in it will overcook in a very short time....in my opinion only a heater form above the bowl can avoid this issue.
The heat goes up fisically.....they only option is to get off the bowl.

To be fair, the PD and I-inhale aren't really that bad about cooking the bowl with ambiant heat. Definitely not as bad as the Vapolution, where the bowl is sitting right at the bottom (hottest part) of the heating chamber. But marcuss is certainly right about hot air rising. Only vapes like the Aromed and VaporSnake, where the heat comes from above the bowl, are safe to leave loaded for any length of time.

Clear Dome, congrats on finally getting your unit. I think Max alluded to this earlier, depending on the lighting, sometimes you won't see vapor being exhaled but don't worry, it's still doing it's job. I think the car is a good place to see vapor on a sunny day, so if you want to see this machine produce some decent vape clouds, go sit in your car and enjoy the view of people walking in front of you having no idea that you are fixing your head....LOL It's not my favorite vape in my collection, but it is cordless, portable, and it WORKS... FREEDOM for vaporizers everywhere.... I know that the VG is a decent alternative, but it's not like you can turn the VG on in your pocket, wait a minute or two, and then take incognito hits, with the i-inhale, you can! Love it!

honestly no ...I dont totaly undestand how it work ....realy complex vaporizer ...but is it just me or it seem to make a mini flame ?? where you can see the ''orange light'' ? no ...cause it seem like the butan ignite with a ''bbq starter'' and make a mini flame or at least some thing similar to a flame
