No doubt a lot of chinese products are top shelf, I've bought a lot of made in USA stuff that was subpar on the market place. don't order chop suey in asia unless you like sweetmeats you dont get bean sprouts or noodles just organs from whatever mammal is handy for the cook.

Well i don't know if i was one of the first 100 but i did pre register and i checked the fc box so who knows
i also looked on gv and it said they start shipping may 1st

because "Samantha" is a mouthful.
Where are people getting May 1st from? Is that official, or is that what vendors are saying? DaVinci will release the Ascent before other vendors.

im stuck between an ascent or a pax. i guess i might as well wait and see what the ascent has to offer

The device should be out soon. I've quoted the post where the rep said a few more weeks. They also said the first are being sold by them.

May 1st will be the time the distributions channels will be full. Retail locations should have theirs by then, although I'll suggest that it will be sooner than that by the time it hits stores.
