On an OJ diet, also trying to reset receptors.

Hey guys,
I am currently on an Orange Juice diet (I am also not consuming weed) due to 2 things:
1. Feeling fatigue, tired, and a very bad diet.
2. I have gotten to a point where I consume about a gram per day and it's not getting me very high, I just feel lightheaded and pressure in my head. Not the same as in the past.

I am now finishing day 2 on my way to day 3.
My question is, how long will it take for me to get back to the "high" we all know and love?
How long will it take for the receptors to reset themselves?

IME if you are looking for that high like it was the first time you've been high, then that takes a long time away from the herb. Otherwise you just cut your tolerance down, but it builds up so quickly even if you regulate your med intake. I know everyone hates hearing it, but moderation is key if you care about achieving that type of high. Either that or start dabbing, but then you'll be in an even worse situation with an even higher tolerance.

I find a week or two without a vape and it's almost like the very first time I smoked a spliff....but the tolerance comes back just as strong as ever after a day or two, sadly.

Regarding dabbing, sadly we are still no that developed here in Israel.
No dabs, only on YouTube :(
I thought there was a way to reset the receptors or at least keep them down for a longer time.
If what you are saying is right, I'll roll one up right now!!! lol

i switch the intake method now and then and that seems to do the trick.. some vapes give different highs.. try through water, try dry hits.. big hits, small hits.. and also, switch strains if u can to keep things fresh.. throw some hash or kief in the mix.. variety keeps me high.. even w/o hash.. no need to adjust intake + or - for me(unless i want to, i guess).. as long as i keep things changing a little, i stay medicated for my liking

also you can make use of your AVB.. i always use it.. and it helps your daily gram feel a little stronger for longer.. edibles aren't for every one though

Great advice from Buildozer there. Keeping things different seems to always help. I think your body gets used to any strain it has a couple times, thus cutting down the high. So variety would be great.

Another thing I find that helps me keep my tolerance down is a healthy lifestyle.

I used to vape about 2G's a day of top shelf. After a while that just wasn't doing it for me anymore but I didn't have the coin to up the ante. So I cut back and had a nice tolerance break for two weeks and while that helped, it wasn't very much; you get super high the first time back, but then it's business as usual. Then I started exercising regularly (at least an hour of cardio 6 times a week), a good weight lifting routine 4 days out the week, and a healthy diet. I have never been so blown so regularly.

Exercise keeps the mind healthy, improves function because, in essence, you're getting better circulation to your brain. Something about this tells me a body at constant rest would tend to build up THC and keep it in system longer than a body that's active. In my experience, in about a month of regular exercise, I was getting higher off of less.

So if you take this tolerance break and diet & add some exercise, I think you'll find yourself happily high.

I would have to vouch for this, exercising definitely will help with this (I go cycling), plus your body will feel better than ever. And theres nothing better than a nice bowl after a workout.. its heavenly.

i completely agree.. i recently have started exercising regularly.. and i feel i get higher too.. also i feel less a need to get high.. i feel all around better.. i feel that regular exercise really keeps things fresh.. keeps things near neutral.. regular exercise has to be the best tolerance fighter... great post Atomsk. I know Luchiano is big on that too.. i finally got off my ass and stopped being so lazy and i feel great. it's just what i have been needing but i never even considered it..
