I asked the manufacturer a while back in this thread or the other one I forget about the poly inside the chamber and they said it will eventually need to be replaced. What brought me to ask this is the capsules when you first get them are slick to the feel. After use they get dull and sticky from the resin. They can be cleaned but never fully as you will get dark black spots on them. This is what prompted me asking about the poly we can't see in the chamber and what is happening to it as we use the unit.

I'd have to agree with Dreamerr my XP taste bad from the first hit. I'm not sure if it's the poly or burnt resins or what but the taste is bad and it's actually worse on the first couple of hits when your not really getting much vapor.

The way you said you have to agree was like it was such a horrible thing to agree with me:rofl:but I agree with you as well that first hit is like doodoo now.

:lol:It's not you. Just tired of having to be negative about my vape, but I gotta tell it like it is.

Edit - So after this came up I decided to try a new capsule I had got with my replacement XP. It tasted great so imo it is the dirty capsules that taste bad. I have a dirty one that has been soaking in alcohol for a few days so I'll report back later how a freshly cleaned one taste.

That would be great news if it is just the capsule but it stands to reason over time it will be the chamber as well. I would try a new cap but I think I am going to end up getting rid of them and the INH for the ascent. Only time will tell. I already got the PN and it is doing better for me then the INH except for heat up time. It won't be better for cloud chasers. The INH is the best at that.

capsules are really important...i find that mine will need cleaning at least once a week so that they are in shape and taste good always...

Yes definitively, clean capsules are a must for delicate fruity flavor.

As for heating chamber, only bottom screen is in contact with vapors and is less of an inflluence on taste. Bottom screen may be replaced if necessary.

We are expecting to have a cleaning kit out shortly. This kit will supply clear methyl alcool solvent and lint free q-tips as well as capsule screen filters.

Dunk the capsule in solvent, clean interior by pushing screen out from the mouthpiece with q-tip. Soak q-tip in solvent and gently rub inner wall of heating chamber.

Bottom screen replacement requires optional extraction tool. Screw in extraction tool through bottom screen and remove gently.

The heating chamber material will take a set just like the capsules.

What is the cost of the optional extraction tool? Any pictures? How much time does it require to replace or clean the bottom screen?

You can just use a long pin like object to get it out as said early on in the INH thread by jam. You can use the SSV glass top stirring tool.

As you know my XP is broken.. I do miss it a lot tho.. It is the best PORTABLE LL I have used so far..Already posted my review a while ago [best battery, ease of loading, clouds, stealth, heat up time ect], my feelings dont change for the product even though it was buggy and broke on me. I would keep it.

I cant wait to get my replacement.. Hoping for a tracking number tomorrow, make it happen Pharmacor :smug:

I really would have thought once you had gotten the cera working great you would have let the XP go. The warm up time and stealth is better on the cera as well as smell I suppose. It is heavy though.

yeah it is a bit too heavy, i use a glass straw to get the hits i want and need.. that just isnt as portable for me..plus it gets way hotter than a XP ever will. I cant put something hot and heavy in my pocket.. man especially when its summer time and I am wearin basketball shorts..

EO core [with no mods] on the other hand is amazing. still pretty heavy though.

you considering getting rid of your INH??? i cannot believe it!!! this was your love... why would you think about getting rid of it??

I don't know really if I will end up doing it but I more then likely will. I had issues since day one with smell and hated that my car stunk, it stunk when going into stores ect. It was bad as if I was smoking. I wanted the INH for travel and I knew as soon as I got it that it couldn't be used for that. I then bought a solo and then VAS was in full force. I had two vapes I liked before the INH the DV and the MFLB but it was the INH that got me to quit combusting for better or worse. I still love it but with all the new technology coming out I think it can be replaced. I have already replaced it with the PN but heat up time for me is gruesome. For stealth and hardly any smell it is the bomb and will be my travel vape along with the solo. Of course the ascent is on the horizon as well. I can go into more detail in PM if you would like.

I do think the INH is a great vape and has the biggest clouds, nice short heat up time, easy to load and over all very satisfying.

I can say after I clean mine it tastes similar to new or very similar to a clean solo. Can't say my experience aligns with yours.....

Food for thought. I may just throw in a new capsule and see. I used it heavy so who knows. I actually put it away so have to get it back out.

There is more to cleaning than a clean capsule. pull the screen and clean the chamber too....

I really wish my XP and hope my replacement comes soon. I still love the solo for its reliability but the warm up time and the thickness of draw and lack of pocketibility makes really miss any of my INH's.

Hopefully you and I get ours shipped tomorrow, inhalater said 4 replacements were going out..
I feel your pain bro.. i really did switch to combustion while my xp is down..[reason why im buyin a pinnacle or solo soon]

As I stated before, the XP made me totally stop combustion.

The bottom screen which I am scared to take out even though I know how, according to pharm themselves has less influence on taste. I may try but we will see.
