Not really, tbh 1 on each side isn't, there are ways to open these type of locks without leaving evidence (I tried and succeeded). But the majority of people don't know how to.I bought them (they're very cheap) mostly to prevent some people from finding out the content, I think if you put 1 on one side, and someone opens tries to force it open, at some point they would be able to take a sneak peak, or smell what's inside. When you have 1 on either side, and you try to open it, it won't open enough to even mell what's inside. Most of the time these type of luggage locks come in pairs.
I also think it looks good, and I already just like the ritual of opening it :ko:..

That's a sticker, I took it off, perforated some 3D Carbon sticker, then lined up the hole on the Vape Case sticker. From there I just cut along the outlining, and now the case has the 'customized' Carbon label.

You can also just put a sticker over it I suppose.

Suppose you could just sticker over it, but it will be hard to have the right measurements that way, plus you will still have to create a hole where the rubber is at.

I know what you mean, the lid closes very tight, but I find that to be a good thing. It will always loosen overtime, now it never gets too loose I guess :ko:..and of course it's to ensure it is water tight!

Well this is my first post...
I ve read a lot from all of you in a lot of threads but now I decided to join!
I've been smoking for more than 11 years, cigarettes and weed. now being 26 I'm tired of smoking.
I will be ordering a vape from you today or tomorrow!
I think about getting the solo for use in my house, don't want to be wired, and also thinking about getting an MFLB for uing when driving and outside.
I will be ordering soon and I think I will order them both from Puffitup!
My first vape, I hope everything goes fantastic!

BTW, what do you think about this setup for starting?
will be getting the solo with the VC case, and the MFLB combo #4 with the h2o code... what do you think about it?

Has Randy Gone missing or something?

I ordered my Solo the 2nd of march, It ended up arriving the 15th since im in canada, and had to pay 30 Custom taxes which i was not aware of, but that's a different story.

So everything arrived except the Grinder. I sent a email that same day about the grinder missing to Randy at his site contact email. Asking if the grinder comes in a different delivery box or if they had forgotten about it and if they Did indeed forget i would like an Extra Steam if possible instead, Since i will be buying a grinder due to that one not arriving and me being in need of one. (Still no Response)

Then i ended up contacting their live support (19th March), who was very friendly and said they would draw reference to my email that was sent.

Now its the 2nd April and still no answer to the email or anything. So not sure whats going on? any suggestions? or should i just forget about it, I already ended up buying my own Grinder now.

My order was also absent the grinder and famous candy packing. I called and they said that it is sometimes sent separately. I will give it another couple of days before I buy a grinder. Hope that Randy is well, and just enjoying a vacation.

I hate the grinder and never used it. The treads are messed up and impossible to open and close. Randy gives us great prices and great service. I wouldn't worry about a cheap grinder IMO.

You can definitively use it without a grinder at first w/ the solo. the grinder i highly recommend is the 4 piece Santa cruz shredder

Not a home unit and something ultra compact....like the enano and MFLB? Or does the solo come pretty close to the enano?

I actually changed my setup at last minute!
I did order an EQ and an MFLB.
I felt like having a home unit and a fully portable one too.
This will be my starter kit! I think it is pretty good, what do you think? :D
I did order also the adapter for the bong for the MFLB, can't wait to try it with my RooR.
On the other hand I wrote to Randy a few days ago and no response.
But I did order from them. I went to the chat, and talked to Sam.
He was very kind.
But not receiving a response... is kind of eehhmm.
My packages will be delivered in Miami tomorrow, but as I don't live in the US I will be receiving them in a week or so.
(I hope no pieces missing)
I can't wait.
I'm hating the smoke!! XD

Honestly the EQ would not be my first pick for home unit (log vapes, da budda and SSV come to mind first). It seems to be a unit that is generally liked and very good but I have heard from some people that own both the EQ and solo that they were able to get better hits from the solo. I was originally going to get the EQ but once I heard someone say that I was like why have a cord if its not going to be better than the cordless model? Of course everything depends on your needs and your type of use.

EDIT: Either way I dont think you are likely to be disappointed with any of these products they are all high quality and I am sure you will enjoy it. Vaping is really an amazing thing, you save so much material, its healthier, and the effects in my opinion are a more clear high.

I wanted the SSV but as I have never vaped before I didn't know if spend that much...
even I spend like 280 for both with a lot of add ons for the MFLB. XD But there are 2 of them.

Olivianewtonjohn, I understand your point, but loved your edit ;) I hope to save a lot of weed and be a lot healthier also! and maybe later get a better one!

What didn't liked about the solo was for a home session if the battery ends it will not work, only with PA but it will not charge the batter... well you know that... So I went for the EQ. I liked Arizer!
Where I live the weed is amazing and not expensive, So I will be happy as hell! :o
I will post here when I receive them and about my first vapour session.
(I did some DIY vapes but not convinced at all, but te flavour!! holly molly! wow it's lovely, can't wait to vape with the real deal)

Welcome to FC Juan! The EQ+Solo is a great start!!:tup:while there are "harder hitters" out there the Q does a bit of everything very easily and IMO is a great place to start a vapor trail!! good luck!!

i would recommend this company to anyone over any other

After a mix up with shipping The customer service at this company lives up to reputation and cant be beaten
they really care about their customers and it really shows.
With my experience with this company and its Head Honcho Randy, they take VERY good care of their customers
I will be buying anything i can from them and i will recommend them highly to anyone including my friends from now on!!!!!

I've been trying to get a refund for a couple of months now on an order that never got to me from last September (it never got past customs, supposedly). I haven't heard from them since the beginning of February (when they said they would issue the refund), despite having emailed them a couple of times since then.

I know there are very many people who've had nothing but good experiences with PIU (which is why I ordered from them in the first place) - and indeed my few communications with them have been friendly - however I just don't understand why I haven't heard from them since February regarding my refund. I guess I'm in the small minority that hasn't had a satisfactory experience.

I can see where your coming from. When I had my order price matched and then paid through paypal I didnt get an email with an order number or anything. It took a few tries to get the tracking number. I was/am still satisfied with them but that put alittle damper on the experience.

Have you tried using their live help or calling? I emailed and didnt get an answer until I had to do live help.

For my part, I called 3 times. Hoping that this last time is the one that gets a positive resolution. Not too upset, because the omission in my order was not the SOLO. Everyone has been apologetic and very pleasant. I realize that s#@t happens occasionally, so I will back off for a week, and hope for the best. Hope that you get a positive resolution Crumpet.

I know that I am not supposed to post successive messages, but...
I just received an e-mail from Randy regarding my order. He has generously sent me a grinder even though it was not supposed to be included with my order. The ad misrepresented the inclusion of the grinder with an open box solo. He definitely has incredible customer service, and I will only buy from him in the future! Thanks Randy!!

Or if you want to (this is what I did), get the combo #2 plus the water adapter (code h20), for 118.99 ;)
If you do make sure to write them a BIG note... they didn't send mine... still waiting for the adapter...

And about Randy... meh... I wrote him April the 1st, still no answer... The chat is the way!
