I've had some problems ... but to be expected with any startup company. Apart from maybe delivery delays I would say now is actually a pretty good time to buy ... here's my reasoning:

- just got my upgraded Cloud Plus ... and it is my favorite vaporizer ... amazing quality vapor and big clouds on demand
- 2 year warranty so they are obviously pretty confident in the units they are shipping now (despite some initial hiccups)
- they've been working out bugs for a while ... if you get a unit with bugs it is a quality control issue and not a design issue so your warranty will deal with that. (currently VXL is assembling units themselves as well, although I'm sure--I hope for their sake--this won't last so if anything now is a real good time to order as the people who care are assembling them)
- the sooner you get in line the sooner you get into the Clouds

Just some thoughts ...

And some of us are still using there original clouds with no issues at all. Knock on wood. I love the vape so much I will invest in the Cloud+.

all good in the hood.
Thanks for the replies. Once again, I am not here to start crap.

Which package would most recommend ordering for someone who has not owned one?

Just ordered my Cloud today. I hope it satisfies my need for high temperatures, great taste, and huge clouds. I truly hope I can say F Combustion once again.

So if someone primarily uses devices where water is not involved, would this still be the device of choice?

I use water occasionally, but find that sometimes it is a pain and I am lazy.

If I were to purchase it, I would probably use it without the water attachment most of the time. I am wondering if this device is best used with water.

@the ob: I prefer water-conditioned hits. The hydratube is no harder to put on the Cloud than a mouthpiece is, so there is nothing "harder" about using water. IMO it's just nicer and well worth it.

Stu. I think for me it is not the resistance, but the care and ease of use.

This looks like a wonderful device, I just wonder if the care, and upkeep will be lost on me because I have a tendancy to be lazy and just like to use lo hassle stuff.

It's pretty easy to keep up with. It's all glass so it's easy to clean. The bowl is a little screen basket called an ELB( easy load bowl) that speaks for itself. You'll love it.

Also something to keep in mind...if you have a hydra tube then you can still hit it dry, at least with those you have the option. But to each his own.

So if someone primarily uses devices where water is not involved, would this still be the device of choice?

That's a good question. I never used water before I got the Cloud. Now I use it all the time. I actually blame the Cloud for my appreciation of water in my vaping. That being said, I still reach for the Cloud with its dry tube regularly when I want to use it in bed or want to get the full taste spectrum.

If you use it dry all the time you will still benefit from its superior taste, extraction and fine screen in the ELB that keeps particulates from getting in my lungs. The question is should you buy a package with the HT, since it saves you about $100 to get them together. If your cash flow is up to it, I suggest going for it. It will give you a chance to try what I think is the best vapor experience around, and you could more than likely get your money back (and then some, maybe) selling the HT on this site.

hey guys,

i bought a cloud a few days ago and wondering where I find my tracking info on the order? It just said it was shipped USPS priority but I'd like to track it to see when I need to be home. I'm I missing something here or do I have to ask customer service for a tracking?

Thanks for the help, getting sooo excited!!!!

I would have to say that may people aren't getting a clear picture of how diverse the cloud is. Aside from blowing up bags it pretty much does anything you want. I mean - it could even be rigged to actually work with bags. Yes - it was developed with its sole intention being easily adapted to water but with that being said - use it dry, tastes great. Put a two sided female adapter on it - insert an 18mm elbow and you got a fucking whip! Add a vapor tamer and volia! you get you DBV/SSVish experience. Or - for all you LSV owners - insert the wanD into the female to female and you've got a sudo LSV! Now, if I could just get my cloud to walk my dogs I would say were cooking with oil now!

Is anyone able to reach vapexhale over the phone? I left a message Monday and no one got back to me. Is this because I turned down the upgrade? lol

Since our Win, and with all that is going on our phone rings non stop. We can only take 1 call at a time. Our support portal however can take as many requests as possible and we do our best to respond to all support requests within 24 hours. Please utilize our support portal if your communication is urgent in nature. As we expand we will add more lines to our phone but for now our support portal is the best form of communication with VXL.

Unless something has changed recently, USPS doesn't provide the same tracking specifics that other carriers do. I don't think you have to sign for the package anyway.

Thanks Max but I still think USPS tells you the expected delivery date which is what I'm looking for. Also I used the FC code when buying the cloud, doesn't this get me free shipping along with the elbows? When I put the code in, it didn't do anything but I made sure to put it in the comments as well. I'm getting sooo pumped!

Also I just tried to access the Vapexhale portal and I wasn't unable to load page...I tried this last night as well, same thing happened. Is something wrong with their site?

got my tracking number emailed to me on monday. the usps tracking page only says "Electronic Shipping Info Received" and hasn't been updated since. how long does shipping usually take? i live in nor cal.

my tracking page tells me my package needs signature confirmation. i've been waiting by my front door the last 2 days only to be disappointed by seeing the mailman drive past my house lol.

My Cloud Plus, sent as a replacement on a original that died, didn't fit my original cloud's hydratube. Also didn't fit an original cloud for sale at a local head shop. However, other attachments did fit both units.

So, being the reasonable person I am, I purchased the original unit and went home to do a side by side comparison of the Cloud Plus and an original Cloud (before I sent the Cloud Plus and hydratube back to VapeXhale to sort out faulty glass connection).

The result? A buddy and I weighed and packed a pile of ELB's and put them in bowl on the coffee table. We vaped both units in every way we could think of, e.g., low temp settings, high temp settings, vape one then the other, and vape entire ELB's of each before trying the other unit at the same heat setting, different glass pieces, different whips; and yes, it was awesome. : )

Impression of Cloud Plus:

- shorter heat up indicated by the light, but not really in reality; they both are better once warmed up ten minutes or so.

- Vapor at 11-12 setting is decent clouds and amazing taste.
- vapor at 4-5pm and the cloud density and volume is very near an original cloud at 2-3. Definitely tastes different, however. Both taste good--just noticeably different.

- the cord is shorter due to regulations that limit cord length to, supposedly, prevent people from tossing their cloud in the bathtub and committing suicide. This is a shame IMO, the longer cord was very nice for passing the unit around without the bulk of an extension cord.

Original Cloud:

- We both in the end, measuring preference by cloud density and volume, slightly preferred the original cloud; comparing the biggest clouds to the biggest clouds in one totally awesome and ridiculous vape session, the original cloud's big clouds were definitely bigger than the Cloud Plus's biggest clouds.

However, that difference is marginal. And I gotta say the Cloud Plus had the edge on vapor taste. One thing you'll notice is the diameter of the opening at the top of the bamboo is different on Cloud Plus's than the original cloud. Maybe to accommodate the changed heater design.

All and all,

Once my replacement Cloud Plus comes back, I will just keep both : ) Other than looks, which are the same, each unit vapes noticeably different. Both are excellent, but different. Probably install one semi-permanently in a bar I am making : ) i.e., draft pale ale and a cloud within arm's reach. That's a heavenly evening.
