Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Skilletools HoneyBun.
I have a tool that looks exactly the same as that (except its just plain metal in the middle, no skilletools branding) that I got as part of a set from BM.
it is seriously one of my favourite tools around.

The sharp side is perfect for stirring whatever vape I'm using, and with my LSV I use the back of the rounded side to crush my herb up a bit finer in the wpa after a few hits.

The sharp side is also great for dabbing, it's my go-to piece when I've got some oils made up.
I also use the rounded side for scraping up those last reminants of oil in my dish, and scooping up keif.

Seriously, awesome little tool

Wow! Around $1000 spent on two vaporizers, both failed and a 2 month repair time for the one unit.
I wouldnt be as supportive as you have been.
I wasn't going to post my failure rate with the cloud but i see more and more so i am posting mine too, cloud # one and cloud # two over heated to where they did not vape, cloud # three stopped working sent it in for cloud + upgrade. I now have $950 in to one vape with custom and shipping. and i see how long my cloud + works when i get it. the best vape i used.

Anyone heard back on any support tickets this week? Sent an email in Monday trying to get info about paying the "upgrade" fee on my warranty replacement cloud still no word...

elixsor,
Can someone do me a solid? I'm wondering how dark of abv you can get in the new(handmade) Cloud + with the elb 30-40% full on max temp.
TIA

I haven't had to put in a ticket but I remember reading something stating that they were traveling to a medical cup or something like that. I am sure they will get back to you soon.

Mine doesnt come out very dark brown. My Inhalator results in way dark abv. However, I do think that the Cloud still extracts better.

I agree - my solo gets the ABV dark too as opposed to the cloud where I get a golden brown flake that just turns to dust when touched. I would have to say it seems like the Cloud extracts the shit out of my weed with justice! ;)

Damn sure hope so you'd think they could at least get a full time CS person with all the extra money there charging to get working quality units out...wonder if the turn around on repairs will be put on hold if there out of town as well.

I talked with Phill a couple of days ago. They are going to be really bussy for about 48-72 hours in a medical cup, let them time and I'm sure they will answer you.

Well I sent it in Monday so I definitely have, would be nice if they took care of there current customers first. Pay extra to get a working unit and existing customets are not even their top priority quite frustrating.

I don't think they're doing it in purpose. Don't forget that they're still a growing company, let them some time.

I sent an email last thursday with no reply either? I'm going to call them today when they are open.

EDIT: Oh and I'm pretty sure that the medical cup they are talking about being at was the one in cali last month. They just haven't changed their thing yet.

Still curious what happens with international users and the VXLOVESFC code for 8 extra ELBs when buying a Cloud. When we register our unit with VXC can we get the bowls shipped out then? (since we can't purchase our Clouds directly from Vapexhale.)

looks to me like the site is up and ready to do business. distributors tend to add stuff like grinders and the such to the order

Per Customer Service this morning:

I called the manufacturing/refurbishment center this morning, and your Cloud should be done by tomorrow and the goal is to get it shipped out by tomorrow. Thank you again for you continued patience, and I will let you know the tracking ID as soon as I get it.

Sweet success! Now, can someone PLEASE tell me how to keep utmost safety and maintenance with my Cloud? Last one broke internally and I'm thinking it had something to do with me cranking it on max while plugged into an outlet with many sources.

How can I ensure this does not happen again???

Well I can tell where NOT to plug it in again! :D

All jokes aside - get yourself a powerstrip. And keep it clean.

Yes phrasing of that was not the best.. will an uninterrupted power help more than a powerstrip?

After reading in this thread that not all power strips are created equal, I picked up a Tripp Lite brand surge protector just for vaporizers.
I love it

This single outlet Tripp Lite SurgeSupressor was posted half a year ago by CentiZen

dumb question time...any idea when the cloud+ will be available? any idea on price? does vapexhale usually participate in 4/20 discount promos?

I got my fixed/upgraded Cloud back. Although I haven't taken a stop watch to it, it seems to be ready after 3 – 5 minutes, as most have said.

I normally never go past 12:00, so I haven't noticed a difference in its max temp/toke output. 12:00 still seems to be ideal for me with the Plus, without having to put it any higher. At these temperatures the heat on my hands is not something I ever really paid attention to, so I dont notice a big difference there.

The green light seems to be more vivid, but maybe its just me. And the dial does feel better as Xchadb mentioned, my old one seemed a little loose (and maybe smaller?)

Someone mentioned their unit being poorly packaged/wrapped/protected upon arrival. My unit arrived in the box literally laying on top of the bubble wrap, with very few foam peanuts around it.

As a few others mentioned, my bamboo also needed to be pushed up gently (~ 1/4 inch), and made the slight crackling noise.

...To keep the upper portion of the bamboo clean I use alcohol prep pads and my trusty Skilletools HoneyBun. Use the HoneyBun/prep pad combo to gently ream out the bamboo...

Thanks for the tip. And to anyone looking for cleaning/dabbing/loading tools, look at options other than Skilletools

Just ONE Skilletool alone will cost more than that. And honestly, I think these are a lot more sleek without the big logo.

If you purchase a Cloud from vapexhale.com, it will be a Plus (at the listed price there). From anywhere else, its a bit of a maybe from what I understand.

all good in the hood.
So I remember when these were first being made. And I know many are very fond of these devices so please know I am not bad mouthing or saying anything negative since I do not own one currently.

But I've been reading and it seems like there are some issues.

Would it be a mistake to purchase one at this time, or would I be better off waiting till some bugs have been worked out?

Again, I am not trying to cause any trouble, but I am just curious.
