and yes, play with your dome screen: wider to fit firmly in the wand, in pyramid for stirring improvment...play with those little MOFOz you won't be disappointed. Oh and if you have several, use one for concentrates...oh my god!

They need to be unwrapped/broken apart to work and you will need a minimum of 2. I bought a complete set for 15 but never needed the flat circular ones. The rubber tubing lasts MUCH much longer and collecting wand hash (kief) is all confined in the wand which now works like a chamber. Fuck knows why the manufacturer do not offer this mod as standard with custom made gauzes. It makes a HUGE difference. I don't even really feel the need to water purify. I like it just like this. I harvest out wand hash/kief every couple of days or so from the gauze that sits on end of rubber tubing in wand and every know and then do a complete harvest. A little bit of white spirit or roor bong cleaner (what I use) or similiar to clean the vapir gauzes every now and then under hot water. And you can reuse those gauzes indefinitely. Same goes for the actual SSV one as well with tha cleaning method. But it works super good on the vapir gauzes. This trick I do makes me enjoy SSV a whole lot more. I hope it helps someone else out there wondering what mods they can do who missed this pages back. I don't take credit for this as I picked up all this from the thread minus the wrapping the gauze around the tubing end that actually goes into the glass wand. That part really is worth it's weight in gold so give it a go if you can! You could even triple filter using dome gauze. Pretty cool and a neccess investment of time and money for sure if you like dry hits without water purification (as I do) but are fed up getting mouthfuls of wand hash/keif! This is one the manufacturers should really supply themselves but until they do.. every SSV user should be aware of this technique
You can get the SSV with the hands free connection. The standard HC on the SSV has a rounded end with a small hole (approx 3mm), and the wand has the flared end and acts as the female connection. If your wand fits inside the HC, and will hold the connection without assistance from you, it sounds like you have the hands free setup. Do the HC and wand terminations have the frosted (ground glass) look?JamImmune said:
