Nice update and thanks for listening to your customers.
I don't put the screen so far back. It requires enough heat when at that distance that the EV2 will get pretty hot to the touch.
IMO the easiest and most economical way for a consumer is to place a flat screen on the bottom inside lip of the 18mm joint (just like a 7th floor screen) and then just cap off the end with an EQ elbow screen. The 7th floor screens are cheap and you can get them off any vape site or LHS ($1.99 for like 20). Either 0.583in/14.8mm or 0.625in/15mm will work, the latter just is more convex when placed (which I prefer). A 18-18mm joint is usually $10 at your LHS. And you get one free elbow screen with your EV2. $12 total.

Was on my 3rd stem hitting my PD when I got the brilliant idea of putting the stem directly in the EV-2 :science:

Big no no. It combusted on me :doh:

I have the temp dial set to about half-way between min and max. Time to go put on a Blue-Ray!!

I received my DDG and i absolutely love the size of it! alot smaller than the original one i had. feels great to hold. Better airflow imo

I've got cracking on the rear of my unit, above the power cord. It still works great, but I need to keep a better eye on not stressing it. Then I dropped and broke my direct draw stem. Ordering a new one as we speak. :cry:

Keep an Eye on the crack. It won't hurt anything, but when you're ready, I'll replace it.

I have a mobius reti ion and been using my epic nano with it. The ev2 will work as well, but I think its a bit big considering the nano has the same power. But I have used them both for water. Ill get a video up for you as soon as I get some time this week(end).
