Whats going on FC?

My names Mikey and I'm a total vape newb. Got the glass attachment for the Herb Iron and have been using that for a week as my method. Last night was the first time all week that i decided to combust and WOW. The difference over a short period of time is really incredible. Was the first time I regretted smoking since I smoked one time while having Bronchitis! Was also the first time I ever referred to a SG hit as "not smooth". It was almost painful compared to the gentle vapors. Seriously considering switching entirely over to vape-bonging (love my glass too much). Which is why I am here. To learn about this still fairly obscure method of consuming. I will admit though, the amount of information is absolutely overwhelming haha.

Hi lookmomnohands!
You don't have to "switch to" vaporbonging... you simply "switch to vapor" (which you are doing)....
Now you can incorporate vaporbonging into your vape routine.
I own a couple dozen vapes, and can "vaporbong" with all but a couple of them! ;)

Still combustin' :(
Hello FC,

I am Matt from California I have been medicating for almost 5 years now, mostly combusting, I have only vaped once or twice (Well, besides my e-cig) and am finally willing to dish out the cash for a healthier, more effective alternative. I have been lurking for a while to help my decision and it looks like a nice community to be in as I enter the wonderful world of vaping. It will however be about a month before I purchase my vape, as I would like to get my Medical card beforehand. Hope y'all don't mind if I just hang out until then. Hoping to make some buddies and learn more about vaping.

So, happy vaping everybody! (except for me :( lol)

Welcome Dude ! There is much knowledge here on how to make you higher and healthier person :)..
First thing you can learn is that Money are not excuse for combustion ;) . There are vapes that are healthier alternative of smoking as low as 9.99 (Ubie vaporizer) + some DIY ideas if you have some parts lying around.. Also if it happens that you have a bong or a metal pipe with a screw (pipe can be bought as low as 1$) for 12-15 $ you can check the vapo-bowl (it is a flame operated vaporizer that works with any jet-flame torch ligher (can be found as low as 4 $) . There is even a glass version of the vapo-bowl for 20-25 $ if it happens that you have some all glass bong :). Anyway there are other options like the VG coil which operates with any lighter and it is around 35 $ .(and is portable on its own. unlike vapo-bowl which need to be screwed on smth.,which anyway can be easily bought.
Also i recently purchased Gn0me vaporizer .. It is 32.25 i think with free delivery and it is all glass with all glass clean airpath (that means great taste and pure delivery) + operates with a torchligher and you don't such the flame..
The sooner you get to vaping the better .. that is what i can tell IME.. I did combusted for 7 years.. before i found the wonders of vaporizing.

Abysmal Vapor,
Hi there FC,

Long time member of grasscity forums and at least 6 month lurker around here. Besides browsing the politics, medical marijuana section and of course --the vaporizer club--, grasscity has gone down the drain.

Taken over by disrespect, unintelligent threads and boredom.

Vaporizing > combusting and this site is genius!!!

I am an owner of a Da Buddah Vaporizer and a MFLB. They both are awesome and each have their time and place. :peace:

I came here to express my deep love for vaporizing for all of its health benefits. From simple relaxation and a little mental nudge saying, "hey enjoy this moment", to the positive effects physically for my almost incessant low back pain.

I appreciate all of you all here and look forward to talking to you all more. Good to see Vitolo here, I remember when he first joined GC forums and I gave him one of his first +reps.

Anyways, thanks for reading!!

Houdy! I've never ahem, vaporized before. Found this sight whilst searching for a new piece of glassware. Now I'm thinking that vaporization is something I'd like to try. I'd like to buy the "right" vaporizer the first time, if that's even possible. I haven't made a lightbulb vape. yet. I have been, as you folks call it, combusting since the Bicentenial. It seems like many of the best loved vaporizers are no longer on the market. Actually, I am more the sort of fellow that would build his own vaporizer, from parts. One question? Is there a thread in a central location that attempts to decrypt all of the abbreviations used in signatures? I've got a cheat sheet started. Bubai!

Hey, I'm EazyE. I actually discovered FC on a complete whim. I posted a small story on the NO2 thread, but I will post here also. My friend and I were discussing buying new vapes. We had recently purchased a cheap knockoff of the Iolite called the Skyda II. We were really impressed with it the two weeks we had it. We originally opted for it over the Iolite because of the convenience of a rechargeable battery over the butane in the Iolite. Unfortunately, the connection to the charger broke. Surprisingly, we emailed the distributor and they offered us a full refund.

After this, we decided we were going to purchase a more mainstream vape and I decided I would do a lot more research. My friend mentioned having used the NO2 before and I was looking around forums, someone mentioned that Vitolo's post on FC was what convinced him to buy it. After doing a simple google search for "FC vitolo vaporizer" I came across this website and was immediately hooked. I have already spent a lot of my time going through the various threads in each of the sections of the website.

I began smoking MJ when I was 15 or 16 years old. Until I got to school (I go to Tulane in New Orleans and am a Pre-Med student) I was a very infrequent smoker. Over the summer last year, my habits picked up a little bit. This culminated when I went to Bonnaroo, but unfortunately, some of my idiot friends got us caught when we were entering the grounds. This didn't prevent us from smoking there though where I was introduced to the MFLB. I wasn't a huge fan of it, but I was intrigued with the idea of vaporizing. When I got to school, I began to smoke a lot more because I had so much more free time. My friend suggested we buy a vaporizer, and we bought the cheapest one we could find on Amazon which was a huge mistake.

I'll also copy some other people's bios. As mentioned above, I live in New Orleans and am a student at Tulane. I play the piano. I was born Jewish, but have become agnostic through being interested in sciences and my own logical thoughts. I'm 18 years old. I enjoy all types of music except for modern country (Toby Keith style). Anything else you want to know, just ask.

Hi mates!
I think it was time to thanks all of you. I've been here for years and I must say I've lernt a lot (in fact still and forever learning), and in the end I became a genuine "fuckcombuster". No smoke at all (two years).
Although english is not my first language I'll try to contribute to this EXCELLENT and I'd say "PRO" forum indeed.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!!

Hello

I posted a little about myself in the "what do you do for a living thread" but...

I'm a father of 5 amazing kids
Recently married to my second wife (with whom I have one child)
I take pride in being a "punk rock" marketer who started in the online adult industry
I play bass and "sing" in a punk band Drag Queen Date Rape
I'm an actor/writer/director/producer of stage and very very very small screen (48hour film festival, local commercials and some silly skater wipeout/eat shit videos)
I'm on hiatus now, but am also a performing member of a local Rocky Horror Picture Show cast where I handle MC duties and play Rock and RiffRaff
I change my hair color often, from blonde to black to blue, to all colors in between
I love death metal and extreme music (punk, metal, opera)
I'm a hardcore movie geek
I have a really twisted sense of humor
I'm in pre-production on an underground extreme magic show here in Las Vegas (producing, MCing and directing)

I'm really new to vaping. Before I came to work for Karma in early October of 2011, I was a noob, but in my time here I've learned a LOT and am learning more every day. I constantly read and talk to people about vaping, with a lot of listening to what they have to say.

Just a quck "Hello!"

I've been lurking here off and on for years, but more-so recently that all these portable solutions have been appearing on the market place. Because of all the fine research everyone does here, I decided to pick up a ThermoVape Revolution, and it arrived today. I've been putting it through it's paces, and so far I'm loving this thing.

Anyway, thanks for having me :)
