Discontinued Inhalater XP

Awaiting my XP montreal which is on the opposite side of the continent for me. Does anyone have any idea on how long it usually takes to reach Cali? Tracking estimates 4-10 days

I'd say realisticly you are looking at 5-7 days with weather permitting.

It depends on the type of shipping service they used but as a good reference, I am waiting for a glass piece from Cali to Mtl with First-Class international service (I guess the equivalent of "Regular Parcel" with CanadaPost) and I would lean more towards the 10 days. That's if they don't sit on it at customs...

Mine arrived! KP shipped it out monday, and it arrived to me in MI in 5 days. So yeah, probably around 5 days. Right now I'm burning mine in at 4. I figured all those overheating issues Inhalater was talking about would be on higher temps. Hopefully 4 won't cause anything and won't leave anything left in it haha. Can't wait to try this out in a half hour or so.

Finally received my replacement XP today. I have to say I love the smaller footprint. The capsule is much tighter than the first gen. I will let everyone know how it performs. Need to charge and burnoff first. I can't wait!

Here is the quote from Inhalator a few pages before

One may condition the unit by filling a capsule, turning on to mid temperature and drawing vapours in and out of the unit by sucking and blowing into the capsule without inhaling. This will remove any taste of new material.

Sorry for not using quotes but I'm on my mobile.

Its like two pages back if you care to look for it Edward.

And I gotta say, this thing is alot smaller than I thought it would be. I've never seen a portable vape before and I expected it to be... well, less portable. This is tiny as hell haha.

Have you tried contacting them again? They said mine would ship out this week but I haven't got a tracking number either. Hope they just show up, and soon. I'm definitely missing my XP.

gosaints420,
How long does it ordinarily take to charge up? Also, the green light goes off when its fully charged, correct?

Also, so far I've ran it through two burn in cycles, and I'm still getting a weird smell out of it. Does anyone elses smell really weird? Even with no heat on it smells weird O.o

6 hours to charge if the battery is totally dead and yes the light goes off when finished. As far as the smell mine definitely had a hint of a funny smell/taste. I really noticed this when it broke and I went back to the Solo.

Alright cool six hours isn't bad. And are you saying the smell doesn't go away? Like... this isn't just a break in period smell, its just a smell the unit has?

You may or may not be taste/smelling the same thing as me but ime there is a slight plasticyish taste that didn't go away after the 3 or so weeks I was able to use mine.

I did get a tracking number from them, but I was in the middle of a back and forth conversation when they gave it to me. Edward, you will soon have your vape and all this frustration will wisp away before your eyes. I was without mine for 3-4 weeks I think. Hopefully tonight I will get a chance to test the new one out, busy day today.

Both of the XP's that were sent to me as replacements have a plastic or chemical smell. The first one I did many dry burns that caused the heating chamber to deform, but it still smells. The second, I thought I got the smell out, but it was still off gassing. I was encouraged to try the device and it burned my throat and left a bad taste. Afterwards it felt and seemed like there was a strange coating on my tongue and throat. Phamocor did state that the ones I have received had a higher temp profile. I think with the higher temp and thinner polyimide being used is causing the material to degrade or there is some other material that is offgassing due to the higher heat.

I just got my XP, and noticed the smell that everyone is talking about, but I think it tastes vaguely like some kind of oil not any chemical, it's almost like a clove oil or something, perhaps when they test them before they go out? Has Pharmacor addressed this yet, and I missed it?

That's one thing the vaping scene needs to get over to do some serious business. Those unfamiliar with vaping will think people are inhaling glue and plastic in exchange for smoking-- which does sound a bit stupid. I really hope those at Inhalater figure out a way to fix it since I really think they're genuine businessmen who enjoy making products that help people look at MJ a bit differently.
