Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Here's the deal regarding international orders. I did say, multiple times, that we would honor the pre-order pricing for our international customers. The problem with this is, we are now leveraging international distributors so that people can purchase Clouds without having to deal with customs.

We have a strict policy that our distributors cannot sell Clouds below the MSRP and we are bound by that agreement as well. The best thing we could think of was to give the international pre-orders store credit in the amount of the discount they would have received. While it is not a perfect solution, it was our way of making lemonade out of lemons.

Statistically speaking, each existing Cloud owner owns 2.75 HydraTubes. With the store credit, you can almost get another HydraTube for free. Like I said, if we could bend the rules here, we would but we are now in a situation where we have to follow the rules that we've implemented with our distributors as we do not want to get into a similar situation as Arizer found themselves a couple of years back.

Cloudy...
Thanks for taking the time to answer, really apreciated. As you said is lemonade out of lemons, but is better than nothing

One thing that would make the deal better is to be able to add that to your first order. I mean you pay whole price for the pack you bought (I understand that with the MSRP you can't lower the price) but can add other stuff to the same order like a cloud buddy, elb's or another hydratube with the credit shop. Don't know if that would be posible but if not, we will have to make one order for the pack and the next day another if I want to spend the credit in some extras. At least this way I would be able to save some taxes.

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a cloud and a cloud plus? I would rather find out before I send it in so I know what I have. The last thing I want is them trying to sell me something I already have. I find it odd they won't tell me how to tell the difference but instead want me to just send it on in and they'll tell me which it is.

If you are going to post about this here, then you need to be more trusting of the VXL crew...they have earned it and you have not. As I understand it, their warranty policy is:

For non cloud plus users with a dead unit
1) upgrade to Cloud Plus - get the 3 year warranty - plus the benefits of the cloud plus 150$
2) Send in your unit and we will retrofit it with original technology for free per our warranty.

If you are saying they have denied you option 2, then there is either a miscommunication or cause for concern. You are not required to spend an additional $150 to get a functioning Cloud. If you bought it direct from them, then chances are you have a Plus model. If you bought it elsewhere, you may have gotten an older unit in the distribution chain. Either way, once it is fixed and working properly, you will have the finest vapor I am aware of. I am not using a Plus model and don't see much reason to change.

Cloud+ light will go green in less than 1 minute, faster heat up, auto off at 90 minutes, exterior is cooler(typically).

It seems like some here are feeling the growing pains of an up and coming company. Does it suck? Of course! Is it worth the wait? Absofuckinglutely!

I'm sure SM55 and the team are just as frustrated - I mean - it ain't easy trying to get the world high one cloud at a time!

And now i'm interested in the plus - if I could reduce my speed from 12 minutes flat to 6 minutes to achieve retardedness than that's a win win in my book!

There is the VXCLovesFC coupon that gives you 40$ in value of ELB's.
Troi, I am trying to order the Evolver package and when I enter the VXCLovesFC code there is no confirmation that it is accepted. Can you help me out?

Troi might see it and help you out, but to be honest I don't think he should. I want to remind you and everyone else that this is not the VXL support thread. If you have an issue with VXL open a support ticket. That is the only way they can track problems and deliver proper service.

Is it really ready to go (green) in less than 1 minute? I've read different things in the last bunch of pages, like 4 minutes, 6 minutes....just curious why it varies?

Sakic, not sure if Troi made a mistake but the code was VXLOVESFC, I don't remember the "C" but maybe they changed it or i'm not remembering correctly. I tried it and it did the same thing...regardless, make sure you put something in the "notes" section like FC Discount 8 free elbs. Pretty generous and sweet deal!!!

I'm really curious if jeremytyler purchased this recent cloud from Vapexhale. Looks like they are pounding them out by hand now.

Looking forward to the new site and purchase.

Yes, the light will be green in about that time. Those are total heat up times that you listed. Some people begin use sooner than others. I personally wait about 10 minutes.

I'm confused.
Let's try and do some math.
I assume the vapexhale cloud BY ITSELF (NO GLASS) is $400 dollars.
(This is going off the pricing of the VapeXhale Cloud w/Glass Mouthpiece)
but then i just minus the cost of the glass mouthpiece (about 50 dollars)

So let's say i buy the vapexhale cloud at $400. Receive a $150 store credit.
Buy the SoulShine Family Glass Hydraline for 279.99 - 150STORE CREDIT = $129

So all up including the price of the cloud that comes to $529
Effectively $45.99 off the original price. Haven't you already given out discounts
larger then this from winning Cannabis Cups and whatnot?
Yet the people who backed your project from the start end up having to pay more.

This might be ok for people who have the desire to own multiple hydratubes,
i however was only ever interested in one (hydraline) and it seemed excessive to
have more than one.. especially considering how much the whole package costs at the moment.

This is so lame that those in the US got the discount where the people overseas who have waited far longer than them are getting a lamer offer.

I took the words "We Will honor your pre-order price once the international version is available" as gospel.

I have one important question Stonemonkey55
and I need you to answer it with complete honesty, you can not go back on your word.
If i'm to buy a full vapexhale cloud package at retail price.
Is that $150 dollar credit applicable for any item in the vapexhale store?

VXL does not answer questions like this on the forum. Please utilize our support portal, if you have a question you want answered by a specific staff member even SM55 please address that in your submission. Thank you.

I thought the support portal was for direct issues with the cloud involving warranty and stuff?
(When I go there it asks for my cloud serial number, seems more appropriate to bring up here).
I'd assume it'd be a question other users who pre-ordered internationally would want to know.
What's even the purpose of this thread any more asides from praising the cloud/vapexhale team? :/

No, they were time the light went green...you are right though, the actual heat up time is longer but apparently vapour will start when green. I've read every single post in this thread and you are the very first to report a green LED after only 1 minute. Regardless, I realize that there are some other variables like a/c power, ambient temperatures, etc. No big deal, and awesome that the Cloud can spit vapour so damn fast.

MCG, you need to be careful because we are damn priveledged to have SM55 and the rest of the team (specifically Troi) even posting on here. We DON'T want them to all of a sudden stop, and the support portal isn't just for warranties. I had a question the other night about the stock and my reliability concerns, and I really was SHOCKED when I received an email back literally only minutes later from Phil addressing my concerns. I even had a few email exchanges and didn't even need to wait a day or anything....maybe I was lucky, but that was FAST customer service!

I'm just curious what the retailers are doing about all their stock from those Clouds produced by that manufacturer that was having some issues? I would feel the right thing to do is that Vapexhale recall all of them, and was told by Puff It Up that they are going to stop selling them until things get "right". But their website still has stock so now i'm unsure.

Looking forward to the new website soon! Also, has anyone been able to purchase the botanicals yet?

ATTENTION new/newish members (and yes, nine months and less than 50 posts qualifies as newish)!

This kind of shit pisses me off and is gonna get whacked every time. You do not get to come in here and call into question the integrity of the vxl team. They've been here since the beginning and are our friends who have proven their integrity to us. Almost every type of post like this has come down to miscommunication, not ill will or questionable intent.

If you want to get down to the nitty gritty details of some policy, do it respectfully or not on this site.

I hope you do this to everyone who has a question for a vape manufacturer who doesn't follow up all their claims.

Playing favorites is a good way to get people to leave your message boards.

i also think that international buyers are being neglected with this deal.
we already have to pay for customs and shipping that cost a lot more than noth americans and had to wait almost 2 years more than others to even be able to buy the cloud.( and after buying will have to wait almost a month for it to get here)

I wasn't being disrespectful, I think you read my message in the wrong tone.
Nor was I questioning the integrity of the vapexhale team. And even if I was questioning
the integrity of vapexhale, why's that matter? Even major companies like Apple, Nvidia, Disney, etc, have been questioned. I've noticed a continuing trend of anyone having a genuine question being immediately put down. The mentality that a company and it's decisions can't be questioned is very bizarre to me.

But I'm not here to start some silly internet argument.

My question is something that probably should be addressed on the forum considering it's not some personal thing like "My cloud broke! rawr rawr rawr" it's involving not just mine but everyone's international pre-orders. And at the moment the store credit plan seems a bit vague to me.
They are unable to sell the cloud for under the MSRP however they can offer a store credit
after you buy a cloud, so would that store credit be applicable to buying a second cloud package?
If not what use is the store credit? To buy half of a 2nd glass piece? or 150 dollars of ELB's?

Like I'm not being disrespectful, I genuinely want to know, because in the end I'll be spending
over 500 dollars on a product with a discount I've waited pretty much 2 years for and I feel
that I and others have the right to know what it's use is.

What's this kind of attitude say to actual "newbies" anyways?
Hypothetically if i was legitimately a newbie and just found out about vapexhale
i would find your message very intimidating. Sure Vapexhale would of proved itself and been trusted
to you. But to me as a newbie vapexhale is a stranger.. Sigh, i'm rambling.
I'm not here to cause trouble. I just feel like this is wrong, I might as well leave this forum and wait to be notified by email about the vapexhale cloud international release. Cause if we can't have proper adult discussions about the product and the company here.. then honestly... what's the point. :(

Kind Regards, MG

mod note: We get quite a bit of company bashing here, so now that you've made your point, I wouldn't push it.

Here is a vid to demonstrating just how fast it will change. The light may be green but that doesn't mean the cloud is up to vaping temperature.
