The back of the can (under the mouthpiece) also accumulates a lot of resin in my Lattice can. Cleaning less frequently makes it harder to get all the resin off.

My advice: clean frequently ;)

I guess the cotton is the lowest cost :D. Probably also restricts the draw a bit.

yeah,I clean every 2 days pretty regularly a dirty piece makes me sad!! but I'm gonna grab Lev's showerhead A/C (been looking at it for days!)..... problem solved!!

Didn't get the bub though ordered something more tailored to my likes....cannot wait for them to arrive!!!

agreed. on both, however an ashcatcher is just another glass piece to clean. i use a carbon filter, but some ash and carbon will drop thru. carbon plus thinnest level of cotton only for my combustion. it does restrict draw so i only use it with my large clear matrix mobius. and STILL i clean water after every session.

edit - and i still got my eye on that blue lattice.

I use mine for combustion about a third of the time. By the way..... the Lattice is the best thing I've EVER combusted with, and I've had bongs/bubblers of one type or another for 30+ years. It is nice with dabs, and is still my current fav with vapor - but IMO it really shines with flame toasted nugs.

Strongly suggest an ashcatcher. Usually I use a little cheap Chinese one I have with just enough water to catch the crap. Think the Lev a/c is in the budget this week tho - so will be getting it soon!

1 other tip... ymmv, but I like to pull the ashcatcher off the Lattice to clear a hit when combusting. Then put it back on and clear the ashcatcher after (or just blow it out while still off). Not that you can't clear both at the same time, but I find the Lattice to be such a PERFECT piece of glass that I like the flow better with no a/c interfering.

I can't speak for the Mona, and must admit I'm intrigued - but I have a hard time believing anything out there will hit better than this. Have only had the chance to try a Mobius stereo once (well, a few hours with more than a few hits). I didn't want to be rude so I kept it to myself, but the whole time was sitting there thinking you paid what for this thing? It is pretty... but I'd rather have a Lattice and a Mona and probably some change in my pocket!

And, I have to say it again... there is something about this piece that adds to your buzz no matter how you're using it. Can't even begin to figure out how much time I spend stoned looking at it and trying to figure out how. It just does!!

EDIT: YES, clean it often. ISO usually does the trick. You don't want to be trying to figure out how to scrub the inside of this one.

Yes, the showerhead Bub has a smaller volume than the clear möbius Bub.
I'd say it has a bit less, but fairly close to the volume of an ion möbius Bub.

Yep I'm talking about the mobius clear. Good to know the showerhead volume is closer to the ion, I really liked the volume of that piece when I had it. The wait houldn't be much longer now... :tup:

I kind of laughed at the idea of putting flowers in the little tray spot on top. Just seems silly. Let's put it there, so it falls off when you pass it, right? Or break them up with a bubbler in my lap instead of an ashtray or book.

It's pretty sick when you're using oil, though. Can get a dunk or your dabber ready and just set it there while you're heating.

:shrug: worked well enough for me. I never use the Lev in my lap, nor do I pass it around. Couple of nice little nugs in the 'dish'.

Got my showerhead bub today :D

I am so impressed with the quality of Lev glass!! I absolutely love this piece! I have switched the standard mouthpiece that came with it out with a 14m -18m adapter and my taller goose neck style mouthpiece. Cloud buddy fits well on top, and adds a bit more room between you and the vape. Hydracirc also fits well, making a double shower perc. First impressions are :tup: I love the size of the showerhead too. It has a nice even diffusion and can stack quite well even at low water level. I feel the can size is much more suiting to my draw style. The cloud fits with and without the cloudbuddy as well. The workmanship is top notch, clean seams, no visible bubbles and very symmetrical. For such a small piece, it has a nice heavy weight to it.

Dreamerr, you had this one pegged from the start, Lev glass rocks! I guess I like to take the long way around... :smug:

Just got my lattice bub in the mail today. Never received a tracking number, but my UPS choice alert popped up yesterday.

The box had a huge dent (maybe a fragile label might be beneficial?); but, the glass was safe. Wow, what a piece! The double showerhead bub looks awesome too. I'll have to keep it on my radar.
