any Terrance McKenna fans?

Soul Searchin`
I like listening to him when I'm laying down trying to sleep (of course, I'm vaped out of my mind during this time).

I forgot which presentation it was, but I recall him saying how humans used to be ego-less, therefore, we did not have possessions (this includes wives & husbands). He says, humans used to live in harmony and loved each other equally, meaning, everyone had sex with each other (even orgies). No man or woman held the idea of "that's MY husband" or "that's MY wife". I guess everyone just banged each other and raised all the children together in that particular group.

What do you guys think?

I was thinking about it and came up with a question; does this mean humans did not understand pregnancy is caused by sex? Terrance's theory is when man became infected with ego, he started claiming HIS son and HIS woman, and this eventually leads to separation & greed.

It's a very interesting theory.
I'm really getting into the new age spirituality thing. It makes a lot of sense to me.

He has a lot of interesting theories, but it definitely shouldn't all be taken as truth without speaking to the source. I'm behind a lot of what he says though, disagee with some, and I haven't seen/heard/read much yet but he was a brilliant man. The one that got my interest was his talks about the evolution of the human mind through psilocybin, which I totally believe were the catalyst for what we begun to become, before then devolving ourselves to the state we're in now, which he linked with the fermentation of honey and discovery of alcohol. You can get pretty deep into all of that, and most of what he says, but I have neither the brain nor time right now.
I definitely want to read more, I have lots of his lectures downloaded but have not yet watched many. He's pretty funny sometimes too, just his mmnnerisms. that makes it easier to watch and listen for 2-3 hours.
