heya... just fyi for everyone, andy sent me an email saying my nano should be shipped sometime next week. i originally ordered it on 3/3. can't wait!

2-3 weeks isnt too bad.
Im going on 2+months and still pending.
My luck, I'm going away Saturday night and have a feeling it'll come while I'm gone.(Fla for 10 days)

Andy said 10 to 14 days wait time, not too shabby for a hand crafted item!!

I ordered the Walnut version with an extra tube just in case!

Andy is a great guy to deal with!!

Welcome to the club, lazylathe. I was order # 202 back on Feb. 14. Assuming the numbers are linear, it seems like he's been getting plenty of orders... :clap:

Now... just waiting for that shipment E-mail... :popcorn:


Having the 'Nano by the end of the month would just... well... make my month. :lol:

^^^Log in to epicvape and you can look it up.
I also ordered an extra wand(broke two solo stems in an hour,one outside)
Nano stays inside.Safe and sound.
I was told if 'all goes well' being shipped on Monday so I ordered an wand on Sat morn.
At least they both say pending now. :)

Did anyone get the Hello Kitty?

Okay, I have been all over this forum, and done a few searches...

Isn't there a place somewhere here where manufacturers/dealers can post discount codes for FC members? and specials? I cannot for the life of me find it! I was sure I found it earlier...

Anyway, the personalized E Nano looks incredible. I have JUST the graphic for it! :)

There is a forum section for the Supporting Retailers, and within the individual threads are all the official discount codes.

Those are retailers though.
The vaporizer manufacturers only have an official discount code if you see it in the "signature" of their posts.

EDIT: MotG has an even better source :tup:

The UD and the HI are also log vaporizers similar to the Nano,
I dont have any yet but it looks like the HI and the Nano are about the same size. different heating elements.

The UD does come in various sizes also, and Dave has/had the Twigs which may be comparable to the Hi and Nano.

The Ev2 looks like the EQ in a nice wood shell minus the fan,and heating elements may be different.

Hard to say for certain, but I don't think so. Read a few pages back for more info, but Andy ran into some problems with suppliers for the heating elements. He can confirm (and hope he will), but I think he just got quite a few so that issue should be over. And, now that he has a good supplier turning out a good heating element, I'd guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem in the future.

Still waiting for mine, but am glad to be near top of the list! And my own gripes here aside, I'm very glad he held out for a superior product rather than just throwing something together just to be able to scratch people off the backorder list.

Will post an update once it arrives, and review after I have a chance to give her a whirl.

I know that Andy will only send out perfect products and sometimes that takes a bit of patience.

No worries my NO2 will be doing double duty till the E-Nano arrives!

Hey Everyone,

Andy started a dialogue with me over email this morning and we got to the bottom what I thought was "yellowing" of the inner wall of my Nano. It turns out, he is using an anodized gold aluminum tube for the inner wall of the production Nanos while the beta units were anodized either clear or black. I didn't notice the gold color that night when I used it for the first time and the next morning (in better light) I assumed it should look silver like the beta did. To make things even more confusing, all along Andy thought I was talking about the 3/8" tube in my FC posting and emails. I imagine he must of thought I was crazy complaining about the heat tube turning yellow or gold since that is perfectly normal for SS.

So when you receive your production units, keep this in mind. There is nothing wrong with your log, Andy just adding some bling to the inside.. lol

Aluminium? The original post listing materials used doesn't say anything about aluminium. I know there are concerns with aluminium cookware and I'm wondering if the same could apply to a vape?

It is just the outer wall though, which I doubt comes close to the temps that aluminum becomes "unsafe". Alan (HI maker) does not have an aluminum outer wall, just wood, which is also separated from the element by empty space. Since I have not heard of any charring on the inside of the HIs, I am assuming that the outer wall of these two vapes do not get very hot.

I might be concerned if the aluminum comes in contact with the element or the stainless steel around it.
(not enough to stop using my nano though, as I already have two vapes that have aluminum heating elements- the Supreme and the Volcano)

Mod note: Your statement about the HI is incorrect. The outer wall of the HI core is stainless steel, not wood.

Just to be clear, I'm not using the gold anodized anymore. I'm using clear and black. Probably all be clear in the future.
