Water from the filter, boil it, through another filter for me now. Might go buy a few of those artesian water bottles and test them out just for fun.

I'm not trying to start a fight... but how did you come to this conclusion? Where in the US can you not safely drink the tap water?

I'm sorry. This was not based on any facts or anything. That is just my personal experience. I live in the Netherlands where we have some of the cleanest tap water of the world. I go to Florida about every year, sometimes even twice a year for vacation. I love everything about that place. But when i am there i only drink bottled water. It does not feel natural for me to drink tap water there.

When i take a shower in Florida i also kind of feel like i just got out of a swimming pool. This makes me think there is much more chlorine added to the water supply. These are things you notice when you are not used to it i guess. I do get some of it in my system though (ice cubes, restaurants), so i guess it's fine.

Great Scott!
Tap water. Forces me to properly clean it more often.

If I'm feeling extravagant I'll throw some of my bottled water in.

My personal belief is not to use anything that I can't drink straight up.

You are spot on. I live in the USA and I don't drink the tap water (eco nuts bring it on!) because it seems gross to me. You will have plenty of people tell you how chlorine is necessary, but I don't buy it. One less chemical to worry about in my life.

mod note: 2 posts merged. Were you feeling lazy yesterday?

I only drink tap water when there's no filtered water in my room, and I'm too drunk to walk up a flight of stairs to get some. Which is to say, rarely ;)

I try to avoid chlorinated water whenever possible (not that I don't like sanitation -- just the heavy chlorine smell/taste of massively overdosed city water systems), so using the well water in the bong was a natural. I drink, make tea, coffee, cook, and give the cats well water only.

Tap water is for washing dishes. :)

So if I drink more chlorine, does that mean I am allowed to pee in the pool?

Edit: I grew up on well water. So good...although not so good when it dried out for months on end.

FL has EXTREMELY hard water. We have plenty of natural springs, but the way they treat public water in our state is shit. I'll drink the tapwater at my family's house that's more inland (each county has specific regulations on treating water, so most places have varying quality) but on beach side, forget about it, you are basically drinking chlorine, flouride and metallic tasting water. I actually buy bagged ice when staying on beach side, because it melts off into the same shit water if you use tap.

That said, I do run our tap water through a little pitcher style filter to use in my pieces, and it works well enough to vape through. Have never had any complaints, and it's always pre-cooled so no need to use additional ice.

I usually use the hot water from my water dispenser thingy. The one that holds the giant 10gal tub of filtered water.

I was thinking if using black tea instead of just hot water. Brew a half cup of a black tea bag (celestial tea brand, it's delicious) and use that in my bong lol. I wonder what that would taste like.

I would worry about it staining.

Roger's got the setup. I only wish I could keep things that organized and clean. One of my buddies, always tells friends, I'm like the guru of marijuana, because I always come of with all these toys, I'm all into the healthy aspects of vapor, clean glass, learning the techniques.

I felt like BIG MAN ON CAMPUS when hanging out with them.

Then Roger showed up here. Now, every time my buddy mentions it... I feel like a slob.
