So has anyone found a good smell proof Pax case? I'm carrying around an smell proof Opsack - gets the job done, but kinda unwieldy.
I'd look at small pelican and otterbox cases. They crush proof, impact proof, and water proof. Thus they are airtight no smell can escape. This is what I do with my Whispr. I got one big enough for the whisper, a poker, a stash box, and a mini mini 2 piece grinder.
this, for 8 bucks you can get one that fits a pax pritty snug at walmart, It doesnt fit nice in my pocket, i leave it in my car just in case. Before though, I was using the pax bag that the pipe cleaners come in, it fits perfect, real snug, and you can carry it in your pocket, it is very air tight, and its not transparent either so thats cool I guess

I know about the indestructi-cases (which are actually really great for what they are), but looking for something a bit more pocket/backpack friendly. Basically like a zip-lock that's not a zip-lock, lol... Something fabric or feels good handling and comfortable to stash in a front pocket while cutting down the obvious smell.. like I said, doesn't have to be air-tight, just non-mmj-friendly-friendly.

Edit: Post 8k! Wh0ot!

The new Dime bags zipper pouches include plastic bags (like a thick ziploc) that can be removed. They have lots of sizes now, probably one that fits the pax. I use an an old Iolite case and it seems to do a good job keeping smells in. The only problem is the Iolite zipper cases have magnets in them that can turn the Pax on if positioned correctly, so you would need to remove the magnets. That was a fun one figuring out!

the Otterbox cases were mentioned back around page 110. there was a question of whether or not they were smell proof in addition to waterproof. (a regular plastic bag is waterproof, but not smell proof)

did anyone try one of these? i emailed their customer support this morning.

if it doesnt fit in my pocket its not worth having a travel case unless its airtight. Knife sheaths work great, http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-TBC-302-FFP-Compact/dp/B005HNF01O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363374961&sr=8-1&keywords=camera case I use that when I go out. It holds everything, a pax (or two if you dont want a bud case) a bud case, all replacement parts fit neatly in that front zipper compartment, three to five pipe cleaners, wipes, and lube fit as well. With the pax and a case for bud it actually feels like a camera.http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Plastic-Match-Holder/dp/B003Z28MQE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363375236&sr=8-1&keywords=match case this is the case I have, you can get it for 1 dollar at any kmart/walmart/lows/ where ever. Although I have never gotten searched with it in the case, when ever I bring my camera to shows in the same bag they never once have opened it. The case is the EXACT height of the pax so its real snug. you cannot tell from the picture but they double layer and pad the case, its actually pretty nice.

I doubt you will find a smell proof fabric case. Since fabric is porous. But good luck there. While mine doesn't fit in my pocket it is totally reasonable for a back pack.

Ahhh.. that looks perfect! Might be able to fit an Omicron in there as well :)

Doesn't look pocketable or smell proof

I think i said it was smell proof. Also I am no genius but if it is an air tight case that water and air cannot penetrate then it is smell proof. And yes it is smell proof.

the zip lock bags that come with your pax work for what you need. if you already threw them out I duno what to tell ya. Order a pax cleaning kit and save the bag. it may sound dumb, but this is the exact size of the pax so it cant get anymore snug, it is the most heavy duty ziplock bag I have ever seen, I have trouble just separating the seam sometimes. Its the only thing you will get that is airtight and pocket friendly. They should make thin plastic tubes like oval cigar tubes for these, that'd be great. If you dont feel like spending 10 bucks on a cleaning kit (I certainly wouldnt) go buy the half size ziplock brand sandwhich bags.

yea probably- may need an oring or somthing to help maintain a seal but thats pretty perfect depending on the dimensions, if they only sell bulk, someones buying them in bulk :D I'll have to figure out what these are intended for and go from there.

My Abv comes out about tobacco brown and I use it to make some great qwiso! And I blow clouds from my pax especially compared to a mflb.
How do u make qwiso with the vaped tobacco brown product?

when I run mine on Low only, I get golden brown ABV, if I go to Med it turns a dark brown (tobacco) and looses flavor faster, on High it turns a very dark brown (coffee grounds) and tastes pretty toasted. I have one of the older Pax, so I don't know if the newest ones behave the same.
I have an older one too and my friend got a new one the finish on mine the older one is easy to grip and his is slippery. Why did they change the finish it do I have a knock off or vice versus

Got bored tonight had some white vinyl scraps sitting around and some extra pax stickers. whatcha think????

Hardest part was cutting out the holes for the lights!!!!
I love it I have been looking for skins for it and I cannot find any...does anyone make skins for the pax or can you point me in the direction of a nice leather case???

Great Scott!
Ploom customer service is awesome. I am getting a replacement pax delivered tomorrow. They really have the best customer service right now. A+ warranty replacement program IMO.

Yes, two fit in there perfectly. I had to cut a slit in the side (can see in the bottom middle of the photo) to remove the magnet from the pouch. That pocket holding the lubricant in the photo is actually two pieces of fabric folded over, so cutting the slit on the outside doesn't hurt anything. There was also a flap that is sewed on with a second magnet and I simply removed the thread holding the flap in place. I used it for several months without any modifications and then one day the magnets magically turned on the Pax and cooked the load.

if anyone is wondering,,,the pax is turned on and off by the magnet in the bottiom of the mp. you can actually run the pax with the mp down by simply sticking a strong magnet around 8 o'clock by the LED. this cancels out the magnetic field of the mp and fools the pax into thinking the mp is up. this can be helpful if your mp is glued shut and some heat is required to loosen it, but it can also be the demise of your load, as in toros case.

Hey All!
Happy Weekend!! Did anyone ever confirm what the mouth piece lube was composed of yet? At one point someone said it was Vegetable Glycerin. Anyone?...
Thanks in advance!

its propylene glycol food grade stuff can be had o amazon under 10 bucks for a lifetime supply (a few fluid ounces)

As far as smell proof bags one could talk apart the seem of. Zipper bag take out the stuff in and replace with carbon nd stitch it back up. Your not gonna smell anything through that.

Looks great! I just ordered this case off of Ebay from over seas. It will take some time to come in but I think it will look the best with my 2 Pax units inside plus the Contact Lenses case with my ground up meds in each side. Once it comes in I will def post pics of it and i will link to the item below. Please tell me what everyone thinks please!! The dimensions were the closest that i could find to two Pax units plus extras cleaning supplies etc...

If I made a mistake please let me know what I should have gotten but, please take into consideration the price color etc...

Happy St. Patrick's Day VAPERZ!!!
