2 quick questions:

1) How's the Inhalator XP for hash/oil, no good?
2) If someplace is selling a device as the "Inhalator XP INH004" is that incorrect?

Geez, seems I'm the last of the early adopters to still have a working unit around here :S

Which is odd because I've treated it like shit :\

CentiZen,
mine was working great, but I had a forced tolerance break for 4 months. So it was just sitting collecting dust. So I'm assuming whatever happened was because of that? IDK. It also had the dim issue.

Mine still works to with the original light issue. I use it daily.

Plug it in for at least 24 hours straight if you haven't already. The battery might have dropped so low over time that the circuit just isn't picking it up. In any case, the terminals will still have a very tiny amount of power going to them, so it will trickle charge and over a while (hopefully) spring back to life.

Although relatively new to me, I have an INH004 with the dial that only goes to 7. Hits like a champ and I've been impressed with it every time I use it.

Naw ID believe that to be the problem. Because when I plugged it in the charge light would come on for a milla second and then lose connection or something.

In the XP thread it is advised not to have the unit on max temp without a capsule in it. Does this apply to the regular inhalater as well?

They never specified but they did mention that the xp gets hotter. I have done it a lot with no issues. I am not sure I will or won't do it again considering what pharmacor said.

In addition to lower temps, the polyimide sheet is about 5 times thicker on the heating chamber on the INH004. This was mentioned in the XP thread. Most likely the thicker polyimide on the 004 would prevent it from deforming when doing dry runs without a capsule.

There is no legitimate cause that I can think of to heat the unit empty.
It does not sound good for any vaporizer.

It burns off left over resins vito and works way better then iso then you iso afterwards. At least that is my reason.

I have done it probably 4 times in the past in order to try to burn off any residue in the bottom screen. Seeing as my inhalater is still running pheneomoley I dont see how it could have negatively affected it (also with the thicker polyimide I don't think we need to worry) but I figured I would ask before continuing.

It is awfully hard to reach down into the air holes where some wandhash can develop and clog intake, turning onto max temperature seems to help this (or i'd guess based on the visible vapor produced from doing so.)

Apologies for sentence structure and spelling, celebrating my birthday tonight :p

I always plucked the inner screen out to clean with Iso.
It is easy and done with any stir tool.
I have new replacement screens also, but never needed them....
...becauses I found that after each load if I use the little plastic straw, I could suck out any stuck debris.
Heating any thermostatic controlled device with it's door open will reduce it's life expectancy.

using a stirring tool, paperclip, or anything small that you can kind of hook under the screen with, and then it pulls straight out. It took me awhile to get it, but it can be done. I used a small paperclip, it worked but was a bit thicker than something ideal.

Hey guys,

My Inhalater has broken on me and I'm trying to fix it.

Basically, it was plugged in charging, I must have pulled the cord out at a weird angle because now the charging jack has become loose, and won't charge.

Is there a way of taking it apart so I can have a look inside and try and fix it?

Many thanks!

From the manufacturer's website you can try to pry it open using a blade:

well seems as if I've just made it worse, my soldering iron is too big and I can't get it back on the board.

Anyone wanna buy a faulty inhalater? lol
