Regarding the flavour, yeah it does. My friends were really taken aback, they said it tasted completely different vaporised as opposed to combusted. Combusted it smelled like chocolate, but I didn't try it for myself. They said it tasted quite heavy and chocolatey. Vaping it gave off a very light, sweet and floral taste.
m0sh I only really vaporise hash at 6 or 7. Any lower and I don't get noticeable hits. Could be my technique, who knows.

Nah hash has a higher boiling point...WAX however can be vape at low temps easily as herb.

I have Flowers with Heavy Drips of Wax for Effect and flavor at level 4 is amazing through a water path.

edit: Hash I haven't tried with a SOLO?

When I do this it always leaks down into my gong how do u keep it from doing that??

I put usually drop a dab on flowers of a nice pile of kief, I'm gonna get one hell of a reclaim off my gong that's forsure, any tips for using waxes and oils with solo when its right side up??

If you put WAX with the herb it will stick into the herb, if you use wax without a flower - either with cotton or with ABV

Hash I put with ABV...

I have a nice resin ball from my EQ elbow and if I want to use it I will mix it with ABV.


BTW, I prefer the taste of herb on the taste of herb...however...hash is much more potent TBH.

For you, for me herb is very expensive! (20 euros per 1 gram and wage is also lower than US I'm pretty sure)

Mixing will sure get you really really high, but I'd rather enjoy both worlds separately ;)

You make a good point!
It's less than $8.00 a gram.
Plus the wages are pretty high.

I have a platic cup and it works great. I cut a small flap "window" that I can open and close to access the controls. Those tubes that ataxian uses, I use as well. They are soooooo strong and will not break. Put a cotton ball in the bottom of the tube to keep it from wiggling, drop a loaded stem in there with a battery cap on top.... it is bombproof with easy access and small form factor. You can fit the Solo and travel tube or 2 in the plastic cup. BAM!

Regarding the hash topic, i always vape my morocan in a bed of herbs when using the Solo, not because i prefer the taste (i like the taste of hash but unlike weed, hash tastes better burned than vaped IMO.) but because it is more pratical since it doesn't mess up the screen.

But i don't notice that it goes through my screen, not even when i use it alone (i tried that with my HI), perhaps if that happens with some people, a second screen would solve your problems.

Another thing i do is always remember to keep it upside down, so i don't mess up the ss bowl.. i'm always concerned with particles going down the bowl slits.

Just got my new Solo today. The Number says M1B1 and its silver with a black panel. Does anyone know if its older or newer than the M1A4?
