AEON Glass by jhanpixel

How do you like dealing on Ioffer? Have you ever bought glass there before? I see a few pieces from this blower there and I am thinking of pulling the trigger but haven't dealt much on Ioffer.

I got my two orders really fast and I live over seas. Both orders were great, I'm very pleased. I would definitely recommend. I'm already planning on my next buy from the other vendor.

Its part of my efficiency protocol. It works good keeping my pieces neat, enhances the smoothness and maximizes potency.

I mix my own anti stick concentrate (cranberry, glycerin, acid) with distilled water, always hot flushing (with glycerin, acid as rinse additive) between each bowl so I can keep the hot water + chemicals wash (percarbonate, zeolites, polycarboxylates) to the lowest rate possible.

I hit my pieces warm (above 30°C). I pour the solution in after the flush and put the piece under my IR heating lamp, so it's ready for the next session.

Has any one tried this
paired up with the solo? It's gonna be my next purchase most likely and was wondering how she performs with the solo and/or similar vaporizers

no idea what the solo is, but if its a vape attachment with a male end it will work

if will be based on your personal preference tho
this unit has allot of diffusion so you will be losing some flavor and the can is rather large ( 65x5 x 7" )
it was designed w. flower in mind

hopefully someone else who has bought a honey disc can chime in and give some better insight

Solo is a vaporizer made by a company named Arizer (they also made the Extreme Q desktop vape.) The GonG adapter for the Solo is male, so it'll go in on that piece up there.

BDV how do you think that honeycomb tube I posted above would work with the solo?

I'm not BDV... but that tube isn't too dissimilar from my LeviathanFC bubbler, which has always performed admirably with the Solo.

I agree with BDV that it's not really a 'large' piece, but it may be larger than some would consider optimal for vapor.

I was asking BigDaddyVapor who commented a couple posts up, for his opinion but yea It's only 12" but I'm torn on whether it's too much diffusion for the solo or not :\

Too much diffusion is totally a personal preference thing.

There's no too much diffusion, no not enough diffusion, just what you prefer.

For me, that means going straight baller and going for as much diffusion as possible

BDV probably won't be able to help you too much with how that piece would pair with a solo, since he doesn't have one (and has yet to try one iirc)

IME, the solo can milk up just about any piece you attach it to.
The stock stems have a fairly restricted draw, which seems to be amplified by the glass piece you attach it to.

If a piece has any drag to it, it'll add to the drag of the solo, if its particularly large, that also tends to add to the restricted feeling.

As for that specific piece, you won't get the full performance of the perc like the vid, due to the restricted draw of the solo, but it will definitely work.

My favourite glass pairings for the solo are small pieces - VXC hydratube, toro microverter, aquavape etc,
But it still works like a champ with my bigger pieces.

I'd recommend a PVHES-GonG if you're gonna be using the solo through water regularly.

Heck, I don't own a Solo. kingofnull would know better than me, as owner of a Solo.

But, I'd use my MFLB with that piece. Its not anymore diffusion than the Lattice, which is the larger 12" bubbler form factor, 65mm can. It holds flavor quite well.

If its your first piece, or first substantial piece... I might start a little smaller. jhanpixel has a boatload of choices. But it looks to be a nice piece and I'm not one to say no to what someone likes. After I saw your post, I was wondering why I shouldn't be looking at the same piece. Only thing that changed my mind, is I have the Lattice.

EDIT: And Frederick having a lot more experience with different glass would have a better idea than I would, again... as he owns a Solo and is totally OCD with collecting glass.

is this vape attachment suppose to be left on the tube? or you hold it?
i would concerned about the tube being not well balanced and tipping over?

im such a dinosaur - what happen to using good o' bic lighters?

haha i need to check out what all the cool kids are doing these days so my designs can be used in the modern era

Yea I more or less have just seen a bunch of your videos and figured your definitely knowledgeable in the vapes w/ glass field considering the amount of glass you've gotten your hands on, either way the comments have been helpful and got me thinking a little more about a piece, so thanks to BDV, Frederick and King. Jhan you have some great looking pieces, and the videos you have for a bunch of your products really is a idea  I recently moved and didn't bring any glass with me so I will be getting something REAL soon

this piece looks like it may be a better bet for a first tube for the solo

SteezyJ,
Definitely. Make sure you ask jhanpixel if it can be done in a female joint though, otherwise you'll need an adapter - unless of course PV starts making female jointed GonG.

I really like to slide on oil rig style male joints. Definitely feels easier, since you obviously have more space where to grab. I'm sure PV can do the adapter, funny that I'm currently using one of their products

Someone else requested one, I cant remember what happened with it. I'd sure buy one if they were available.

It's just a matter of what connection they melt on it

I have to say I really enjoy my 8" oil rig. The irregularities of the hand worked disc perc allows to change the experience and feeling depending on the position of the can, and since its a side car, you can easily twist it around. It's a drag free clear on this one, stacks nicely and so easy to clean also.. My daily driver while I'm waiting for my mobius to come back from repair.

Its the first piece that I got with such diffusion and convenience to use, no more bending over and stuff. Just sitting back and relaxing

yeah.. i

Yea... Jhan is really mysterious when it comes to his projects. Me and the other Artist from Colie Glass have done a few collabs with him and never seen the final results! not a peek. There has been multiple collabs, what must be epic pieces of mad scientific artwork, and he even has pictures, he speaks of em in this thread!! Still, I have never seen em!
That's just the tip of the iceberg.. I cant be there to witness everything but I can promise you there were talks of a recycler.. And when I told him we were thinking of tackling the project. He sterly and simply replies "shouldn't be too hard." like it was already in his rear view. His studio is HUGE!! He probably has a whole shelf just full, waiting for the right moment.

wasn't waiting on the shelf , just never got around to it.

made this to counter a another shop that brought over a "beer mug" disc

so we had to 1 up them w/ a double wall stemline recycler beer mug haha

not perfectly functional tho - the stem line should have been a bit higher but oh well

haha thanks BDV, well i dont know how many peeps want a beer mug recycler - but a functional model w/ the concepts shown here ( minus the mug ) will be made available after I release the V2 which should be next month.

Eh... stop right there.

That's ALL they need to hear. Trust me on that one. Well and if it actually recycles, which my limited understanding and the piece you provided, its the same concept as the Vertigo (I think that's what I'm picturing). Though I think theirs is too dainty looking and I think every video I see, is of some dude sucking water.

Agreed. Folks really seem to love their recyclers. And if you move them at the price you normally do...

I think I'm going to pick up one of these. The price is just too good. I'm stuck between the 12 arm bub and the disc diffuser rig... Where did you find that male to female adapter? I want a bub i can use for flowers with a disc diffuser, and your set up is exactly what I'm looking for.
