Ahhhh it looks like they fixed that decal issue I just mentioned like two seconds ago, good deal. You can tell on this picture that there is a larger gap between off and 1, this should correct the issue I just mentioned.

Edit: meant to quote the post with the pictures by Kushland, whoops.
so i assume the unit i am getting from you will have the updated decal ?

It's time I post my experiences so far...

Pre-ordered 11/23/2012 through Planetvape, waited patiently and was part of the first batch of four holed units shipped in February. Unfortunately, my problems matched another FC members of too much heat and little to zero vapor production. Trust me, it's not me, the unit's calibration is off as it simply does not produce vapor no matter what I do, but it does get very hot.

Sent an email to Inhalator the same day I received the unit and Greg responded quickly stating a replacement would be sent in short order. That was a two weeks ago.

I requested an update earlier this week again and was told I was on the list and that a replacement XP would be sent out soon. That put me over the edge....I reached out to PV for help via email. My patience had reached it's end. (I did really good up to this point  I'm as impatient as anyone, but can keep it off the boards)

I received a call from Greg at Inhalator within the hour of reaching out to PV. He told me my new two holed XP would ship out on Monday along with a few others. He was clear, polite, communicative, detailed and most of all, apologetic for the problems. Just a simple call to let me know i was important and that my business did matter....goes a long way with me.

Five minutes after getting off the phone I received a call from PV, just checking in and letting me know I was being heard. Another phone call...people forget how much that matters this day and age...both company's could have hid behind a computer monitor, but they picked up the phone...I really appreciate that.

While the story is not over, they won me over....again. I'm calm, I know what's going on and feel comfortable that a functional XP will arrive within the next 5-7 business days. I'll report back with findings when it gets here as discussed. In the interim I can say I am impressed with both Pharmacore and PV today, turned me from absolutely livid to having faith in the world again.

I would assume so, because they're shipped directly from Inhalater, and literally only take a few days to get here. Stock is so low everywhere right now, that any XP purchased now should be less than a week or two old. Nobody has old stock that's sitting on shelves, so I doubt there is much of a possibility of anybody receiving the previous versions at this point.

Sincerely,

The knob on my 4 hole, full sized XP is very tight and I have had no problems with accidental adjustments. But it does appear to be glued on instead of screwed on.

My XP is glued on. They changed from a round peg to a hexagonal peg and have added a dap of glue. I had to work very hard to get mine apart. These should not be a failure point anymore from what I have seen....

The temp knob on my XP is becoming "loose" and now the automatic fonction is the first and last thing when i "clic" the dial on. The numbers does'nt fit with reference mark anymore. Weird. I figure i just had to tighten the inside screw of the knob but gave up while trying to remove the knob's cap, affraid of breaking something. Should i try again?

Could anyone who owns both an Inhalater and a log style vape tell me how they compare as far as efficiency? Thanks :peace:

Which version do you have?

I own one of the very first XP shipped from PV with four holes and all...

I remember some posters having problem with a loose dial knob in the INH004 thread and they just had to tighten the screw to fix the problem. I just can't remove the cap with the temp dial sticker to access that said screw. I'm trying hard but it just won't pop out. I know it can be removed,as shown in the manual for changing the battery...

So just to recap, Taylor is in fact "TheOtherSideVapes", he is a U.S. reseller also. Taylor has the latest inhalater XP models in stock. If anyone buys form him and has a problem, he will take care of your inhalter XP by shipping it back to Phamacor and handling the warranty process.

Is the above statement entirely true?

not entirely. i believe that Taylor is awaiting his shipment still, but will indeed have the newest XPs when they arrive.

So other than having the inh xp in stock and being able to ship now, everything else is true?

Wow.

The thread is literally keeping me on my toes....
Time is concentrated in production over the week. Get to read all pages and cover emails over the weekend.

Communication will be restored to what one would expect from a first class company as soon as these production woes are over.

We have approximately 10 replacement units going out monday and tuesday, will be covering all malfunctioning units of FC members.

Please be assured that everyone involved are doing their best to get perfect units in a timely manner to their customers.
Production is stabilising, we will further progress with the upcoming production batch of bodies and electronics. Supply will be stabilised in the next 6 weeks.

Trying to access the battery on these first units, will most likely kill the device. We will have serial for better customer support shortly.

I think I know what you are talking about... My bro's dead XP also had some Red Bull spilled to the lower part yesterday and I tried to open the unit given the chance to check how the innards are of the XP... Tough luck... Something is stuck while pulling out the knob and electronics and it wouldn't disengage completely to reveal the battery. Had some tough time pushing it back very carefully and when I finally managed to reassemble the dead XP started heating up for a couple of minutes and then it started blinking again and cooled down. The reanimation was very short... :p

On the other hand his friend's XP, the second one we received from PV's first order (4-hole one) is kicking ass in his hands and no problems came up so far. He tells me he gets loads of vapor from 3 (wow!!!) and all his friends have loved it!!!

I'm receiving one of the monday batch being sent out. I had a question, as far as the warranty, is it per unit or is it from the initial purchase of the device?

I just wanted to say pharmacores customer service was great. I called in and talked to Greg, he was very helpful.

I'm missing my xp, I used it everyday when it was functioning. I did get a chance to show it to a few friends who all were very impressed with the units performance. It fit fight onto my 14mm bubbler, I have an album link below.

Just a warning for anyone ordering from ebay. The vendors paypal statement that will appear on your card has "KUSHPARADIS" paypal as the title. My package also had the words kush paradise handwritten on the label. After complaining to the vendor about the purchase statement title, I wasn't expecting kush paradise to be written on the box either.
