hello people.
Please feel free to call me Zen.
1'm a 28 year old male, been smokin weed since 15 and a daily toker since 18. There was a period when i was smoking over 10 Js a day, the last few years i have probably been smoking 10 week!
all this nasty smoke has started to cause some problems, some tight lungs and mild discomfort the day after smoking, so i decided its time for a change........and the weed wasn't going to be leaving my life!
I started to venture into space cakes and green dragon, but preperation was tricky in a shared house, so i started to look at other methods of ingestion. while at the london Hemp Expo i got see the I-Inhale in operation first hand.
After a quick search of the net i found my self here. i've been lurking for the last few months spying on your I-inhale discussion. Just before christmas i picked one up, i am very impressed but now i have the bug and i want a decent home unit......to tell you the truth i think i'm already sold on the DBV or the SSV if i come into a little money!

I thought i should say hello and thank you all for your help so far.

When one of my inserts broke, I had to go back to smoking for a few days. It tasted HORRIBLE....reminded me of soot or campfire.

Made me appreciate my vape so much more when I got it fixed, the vapor is so much more tasty!

I'm originally from Italy but now spend most of my time in South Florida. Late 20s. I sorta introduced myself in the extreme part II thread (oops! ), but I also had some things to say about the extreme, so hopefully it's all good. I'll stick to myself here ("that's what she said")

I was a heavy smoker for the last ten years, I found it helped with some chronic health issues (nausea, lack of appetite and migraines) and also contributed to an increased ability to focus. I personally feel that I am usually able to use the "high" to my advantage while also adding that extra little spice to life. After a decade my lungs were seriously starting to feel the wear and tear of my daily bong hits. The last 4 years I used water pipes exclusively because I was convinced it was healthier. It may be, water seems to be filtering something, but the thickness and size of the hits probably counter any benefit. Of course, this is just an opinion.
Since I've been vaping i feel healthier and have found a renewed appreciation my favorite plant. I owe a lot of this to this website which has been an incredible resource.

i plan to get marijuana legalized one day. you can thank me later.

THANKS! I'm still relatively new to vaping and I'm about to collect some honey (not sure what's best to do with it yet) from my glass pieces and tubing AND make some hard candy out of the Duff, all for the first time. I feel like a kid again!

i get older everyday. some days i look better than others, and some days i feel better than others. some nights i dream, some nights i don't.judge me how you'd like, but it would be smarter if you knew me first. there's a little fear in everyone, a little hate too. not everything is as it appears to be. talk is the cheapest thing since happy hour drinking. people will say anything. time does not reverse, but you can capture little moments that you can take with you anywhere. there are always certain times and certain places where you must accept your differences from other people. it's amazing or it's terrible, but either way life is only what you make of it oh shit, its 4:19, got a minute?

hello all, i'm a 35 year veteran marijuana consumer in my late 40's
and a huge pink floyd fan(over 35 live shows )
i reciently quit cigg smoking and on my way to drasticly cut out smoking alltogether
by vaping..
i had heard about it for a long time but was sort of skeptical but wanting to quit smoking drawed me right back to it.
i have been a lurker here for a bit, the threads here inspired me to getting a pd
and i absolutly love it!
i also picked up a mendo and i just ordered a vrip set up
so it would be safe to say i'm hooked on vaping now

Hello fellow Vapor Enthusiasts! I'm a 49 yo MJ imbiber, have been consuming the weed since 1975, so I'm probably one of the geezers on this board? I used to smoke--joints, pipes (wood, brass, soda cans, apples, toilet paper inner roll, nose-hits, etc etc), bongs. I used to buy "grass" in "lids"-mostly just leaf, about a half ounce ("four-fingers") for $10. Didn't know better back then, but it got us high and probably inflamed the shit out of our lungs. Even after going to bud in bongs I always had a persistent, throat-clearing cough all day, much worse during allergy season.

I heard or read somewhere about this "vaporizing" technique, and while traveling in San Francisco about three years ago I stopped in a head shop in Haight-Ashbury. Picked up an el-cheapo soldering gun/globe top just to try the technique. The hardware was crap, but the vaporization worked, and man! what a difference. I wanted a better unit, so somehow I found out about the HappyVappy, which is made in Vancouver just a couple hours north of me. For a first (real) vaporizer, it actually has worked out pretty well.

A friend of mine who is a HUGE mj consumer got gifted a box-vape and I tried it. Christ! What huge hits! My HV seems a little weak compared to that.

I found this site after cruising another site, and I've been lurking for a couple of weeks to see what all the info there was. What a resource! I am now waiting for a tax refund to purchase a Da Buddha, and for outdoor/travel/camping/etc a Vapor Genie.

I will never go back to smoking. I can vap out in my house while my daughter is hanging out (somewhere else in the house of course) and she never smells a thing. I don't reek, I don't hack, I don't get that obnoxious fetid breath, and I don't get the headaches or run-down feeling after a lengthy session. Plus, my pot lasts longer, and I like the buzz better.

Thanks for all the great posts here. Once I get my DBV and VG, I will give my $ .02 and hopefully be another valuable contributor.

whats up guys its illadelph from philly. i just started vaping about a week ago with my new extreme that i bought. living in philly, combusting is usually the only way to go about ingesting the great herb. after awhile though, i started noticing that after awhile of blunt harshness, it wouldnt help me in the longrun. originally i bought an illadelph bong for about $400 to get away from smoking blunts. i then bought a vaporizing piece for it and a carbon filter adaptor. neither compares to the clean feeling i get after taking 2 whip pulls from my $265 extreme. thats what brings me here to see all the purities i can get out of this most interesting plant. i am also pretty fluent in mycology so if anyone has any interest in growing shrooms let me know! i am more than happy to help!

I'm 64 years old, and been smokin' weed for a VERY long time. Never vaped before, though. Got a Vaporgenie comin' in the mail in the next few days, and I've been doin' a lot of reading on these PD threads and that vape looks really interesting.

Born and raised in SoCal and I'm still here. Just a bit too nice to leave.
