none of mine had screen on it, i had to put my own or else all of the herb would fly in
also already had it turn on in my pocket by itself
mine is the 4 hole model, very nice vapor
but have to say that all of the stickers on the body look very cheap

I was about to order the ThermoVape Cera, when I came across this thread. I've been reading through it, but what do you guys think of this vape compared to the Cera? My most important quality in a vape is big hits from small quantity. The Thermovape T1 and my Underdog have been perfect in this department.

That sucks. I'd be writing someone if I were you. Hopefully you find something to fit until they send you some screens.

first thing i did was add my own screen cutted from one of my many Lsv spares, will shoot PV an email about this...
having fun testing and learning all the different temp settings
mine came charged, lasted about 10 cicles before it ran out
used the large tube on the tip since the tp of the capsule feels very hot on my lips

I have extremely shredded herb and realized quite the amount can fit inside. I don't have a scale available but I would like to say I perhaps even fit close to 0.5 grams in there!. That's like a lot considering I wanted my latest pick up to last a while

I hope an extremely fine shred isn't an issue with this vape. (Like going through the screen if I inhale and such)

I received my replacement XP and noticed three cosmetic changes to it. The size is a bit smaller, the sticker surrounding the unit has been removed and replaced with a much smaller sticker that does not cover the unit and the last change is the two holes rather than four.

I decided to buy an inh xp about 2 weeks ago but noticed that Planet Vape's been short of supply for a while now.

I noticed that a seller on ebay has a nice supply of inhalater xp, luckily for me I decided to come back to FC for more answers and just found out (thanks to you guys) they are the old xp model.

Now I really want to get my hands on my brand new and revised version of the xp, should I order from Planet Vape? How long would it take to ship?

Just ordered mine today and got an e-mail from a guy in shipping. I will ask him how long he thinks mine will take and get back to ya.

I don't know what the newest or latest version really is anymore.
I purchased one off of ebay which I think is the newer version.
It has just the two holes but has the large label as the left one in post #932.
Mine also has a different label on the dial, white numbers on a black label.
The length is 5" from the bottom of the switch to the top of the top rib. Mouthpiece and where the cap snaps on is not included in the 5" length.
Is that a short one? I don't know.
Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks like the switches are of different lengths. post #932
Could that be where the length differences are coming from?
Mine is 1/2"
It's been working just great, daily since Feb. 23rd

Its treating me well so far, thanks for asking. I have to say i'm liking this new model much more than my first, I say this mainly because this unit now produces the vapor it was meant to as my first one did not produce the clouds that this one does. The unit looks sleeker as well, if you look at the picture I posted the bottom Potentiometer switch is different from the first model I received and give it a better look/feel in addition to the removal of the sticker covering the unit. If you haven't got one yet I highly recommend it

i assume that the numbers on the dial are still a sticker? the same sticker as before?

Got mine from eBay just two days ago, so definitely after you got yours.

Four holes, black numbers on a white switch label, 5 1/8 inches from bottom of switch to top of top ring, 3/4 in. switch length, sticker over entire body.

I've heated it without material a number of times, no issues. I've only used it with material once, and it worked very well!

For my first try I wanted to test how well it would work with my typical T1 sized load (pretty small, maybe 1/3 of the capsule loosely filled). I started on 6 and got lots of vapor. Turned it down to 4 and was still happy with the production.

As the MFG said earlier, the heart of the XP is the electronics. I am not in the least bit concerned that I didn't get the "latest" revision of the hardware, but I can definitely understand how others might be. As long as it keeps working I'll be happy.

If it proves to be a valuable part of my lineup I'll end up buying the latest revision somewhere down the road anyway :)

My most important quality in a vape is big hits from small quantity. The Thermovape T1 and my Underdog have been perfect in this department.

The INH and the T1 are not in the same league when it comes to vapor producition. The T1 is not a big cloud producer even with expert drivers. Last year at the cannabis cup I was hanging with Tim and he was showing me how to use my new EVO that I was having some issues with. I also had just bought a T1.

I pulled the Solo out and started using it with their water pipes and Noah (one of the founders) took that as a cloud challenge. The result was the Solo produces huge clouds with every hit while Noah had to work hard on the power for a long time to get a cloud 1/3 the size of what the solo produces. No contest at all.

INH works well with small loads. Who knows about the CERA but the T1 is a mediocre vape at best. It over promises and under delivers and takes tons of skill and batteries to operate. The INH is everything I wanted from my T1 and more.

I figured it will be fine, but just wanted to make sure.

I bought 70% ISO Rubbing Alcohol, that would still be fine for the capsules right?

It should be fine i had mine in 91% before lol. You guys should try dropping a ball of bho (some amber u can handle) between ur herbs...vapor literally pours out.

I've seen a couple people ask questions about where I have been, and why I haven't started selling the XP yet. We made the decision not to start selling the XP until we had received a final stable version of the product. That time has finally come, so I have decided to list the item in my store for pre-orders. Yes, I did miss out on a good number of the initial sales upon the product's initial release, but I still feel it was absolutely the right thing to do.

The quantities of XPs reaching the United States are still rather small, but I think I should be able to start shipping out any pre orders received by around March 20. I have some units on the way to me now, but these are all reserved for replacing older faulty devices.

Here are a couple pictures below that I took yesterday. I've included a decent comparison photo of the XP versus the original INH004, and this does show the minor difference in height.

I haven't gotten a chance yet to do much testing, but so far I really like it. For some reason it feels like there is a larger difference in size/weight than there actually is in reality. I believe the new black decal wrap seems to give the illusion of the device being smaller. At least on the unit I have in my hands, it seems like the decal might be affixed a bit better than the original was. The airflow has been significantly improved over the original, and the heat up time is now a bit quicker. Haven't gotten a chance to check out the automatic-temp feature yet. I am definitely curious to check out the auto temp feature, but I'm not sure that it's something I would like or use on a regular basis.

Sincerely,
Taylor Shomaker

Yeah I asked them if mine would be shipping on Friday and this is the response I got.

"Yes, we were hoping to get enough Inhalaters to cover our backorders and some newer orders, but we received notification from the manufacture that our order won’t be arriving as anticipated, so our hopes to get yours shipped quickly won’t be possible and need to go by the website ETA. Sorry again for the long wait time, the XP is worth waiting for though J
All the best,
PV"

Kind of a bummer but what ever it happens. Funny thing is, I decided on the XP instead of the Cera because I wanted it sooner. It looks like it's going to end up being about the same wait.

Bronzs,
I've been waiting over a month for my PV order and it has yet to ship... Debating canceling it and purchasing from you instead. Hopefully I would get it sooner and hey 15% off is more than 10%.
