Also, are the extra batteries still being included?

No, the offer of the extra battery was for when they did not have the original battery people ordered. It was an apology for not having what people purchased. They have since received the original battery, so you will receive only what was ordered for batteries.

I'm very disappointed that I'm sitting here waiting until Monday because the expedited shipping that was promised was not given. What's the deal? Also, are the extra batteries still being included? I really hope I'm not going to be denied all of the extras that were supposed to smooth over the delays.

That's weird about the shipping, sucks. I didn't even receive a tracking number for mine so who knows. A few more days is worth the wait though in any case, for sure.
The extra batteries were intended to compensate for when TET didn't have any supply/stock of the proper 2900mah ones (cuz at that time they were giving out 2250mah's instead, which don't last as long)---but the good news is now they have those big 2900's back in stock! So no extra batteries, but it's kind of a good thing in my book since the 2900's have more juice.
Hang in there bro! :peace:

The less you expect for free the more you will enjoy and treasure what you do get. I know TET likes to talk a bigger game than they can handle at times but they still constantly look at how to play the game properly and bring a bigger bat each time theyre up to batting plate IMO. At least your not stuck with a really sore butt like the used to be future "mivape" owners...

I apologize if this is just like salt on the wound, but the more endless support we show for TET the more they will show to us and want to commit/give even more. Though I do believe it is good for them to know the details of our dissatisfaction IMO :2c:

Yeah, I'm aware of the battery situation, and I realize I might be coming off as a bit of an entitled prick, for which I apologize. I just kinda wish they sent an email update about the battery stock, as I would have ordered another battery if I knew the two 2250s weren't going out anymore. I don't have any 18600 batteries, so getting 2 slightly "smaller" batteries was preferable to one 2900 for me. I might not really need the backup, but we'll see.

I know pretty much everything was subject to change, so none of this has really been them going back on their word (except for shipping), but my patience has been wearing little by little and it's been one thing after another. I just happen to be particularly irritable the past few days and needed to vent a bit. I'm still confident that the Cera is the right vaporizer for me, and TET's general operation is deserving of respect.

Making a switch as we speak ;)

Will still be momentary but easier, and maybe with an option of latching.

Easily made out of stuff found around my house.

Will post pictures when it's done

I have assigned my old TET bubble shipping jar to be the holding cell for any contraption I see that may catch may eye, may it be a spring, cap or some sort, or metal piecing that could be relevant to latching options or just protoype purposes, etc..

Here's some Cera Porn for y'all.

So I went with the black Pelican Case Fits perfect.

Made a perfect little storage/stash away place in the case too. This thing is amazing!

Left some room on the right for my EO cup holder thing that I plan to get, I only have one holder right now for the LL and EO core. But I'd like to get another so I have one for each core. And also the ELQ Core (1st time I've seen ELQ ;)) I plan on getting.

Yeah, the LL is a little tricky. But "slow and steady wins the race".

I like to take about 4 deep inhale/exhales though my nose, on the last exhale I really let it out. And begin a slow and steady drag, I mean slow, but consistent.

My GF got upset because after 10 seconds she wasn't getting anything. When I hit it, I grind finely, pack medium (not too tight/ not too loose) and hit it like I said for about 25-35 seconds probably, and can get pretty good "coughing" hits if I'm really trying.

If you're experimenting/learning I'd start with maybe something packed loosely and a pretty fine grind, and start with a fresh bowl. Give it a good 25-30 sec warm up if its a cold start. 10-20 if its already warmed up.

And honestly, since you have the EQ, I do too, what I started doing with my Q was packing the mini bag whip elbow and just hitting it like its a straw. And really focus on your breathing, slow and steady, it got me set up pretty good to get going with the Cera. Plus gets your elbow all golden quickly ;)

Also, one thing that seems to help get it going is about mid way though the 1st hit of the bowl, I like to take a couple puffs, to check out vapor I'm producing and give the bowl a few tugs of good heat. But I'd experiment with this before you really try and adapt it as a technique, cause I'm not sure if its a good way, it just works for me sometimes.

A lot of it is just experimenting with bowl size, density of how it's packed, how strong you're pulling, how much air you have in your lungs, grind of herbs, battery, etc it goes on and on. But TET sent the best set up, now you just gotta figure out how to use it!

Just focus on your breathing. Don't give up just yet!

Wow what a disappointment about the LL Cart, I'm new to vaporizing but since I've found out about it I've been pretty obsessed with the idea. I have purchased two PAX's, a volcano, and my latest purchase is the LSV. When I found out about the Cera I immediately
ordered it. In the end the wait got the best of me and I cancelled my order, however in the meantime I learned a bit more about vaporizer design by watching the vapecritic and other sources. I've come to the conclusion that I agree with him on what is the ideal size and shape of the herb heating chamber . If you want good quality unlabored vapor production you need a shallow wide chamber and good temperature control and the unit needs to be very powerful, capable of reaching very low and very high temps. If you lack any of these features you are compromising. The cera looks awesome but it carries a deep narrow chamber with 4 tiny holes, the mouth piece just like the PAX deflects the heat by routing the vapor at 90 degree angles. From what I gather the PAX is not as bad as the CERA in this aspect. It's possible the shallower wider chamber makes a big difference. I don't see any temp control features on the cera other than shutting it on and off at the power switch.

I could be wrong but I think the cera was designed primarily for oils and it possibly does a heck of a job at that. I think the LL cart was an attempt at unifying two products but at the expense of one. The volcano is a perfect example of what perfect vapor production can be. You may not like to deal with balloons but inside those balloons you have perfect cool vapor. My wife hated the idea behind the volcano ballons originally but now it's her favorite way to vaporize, it's a very gentle clean and flavorful vehicle for the ladies.

The LSV is super powerful and you can get really good, actually excellent, unlabored vapor if you set it at the right temp. I find 11 o'clock on the dial with a whip, does two things, it keeps my herb from burning since I draw slowly and the whip does a hell of a job at cooling the vapor, definitely better than the wand. Unlike the volcano you have to stir the herb after every couple of drags. Same way with the PAX if you grind the herb after a couple of drags you maintain good vapor production without that "popcorn" taste. Your herb gets vaped slowly until is dark roasted brown.

Anyway sorry I'm all over the place. I'm glad I did not buy the CERA I almost spent over 500 dollars on it. IMHO The best vapes in the market right now are, volcano, the plenty, ssv, and lsv for the home and portable The PAX.

VAPEAPE.

What's an average heat up time for the EO? It seems to take a little for mine to get going

Awesome case. Could you also cut the foam out so the Cera rests at a diagonal angle? I was thinking of doing something very similar to what you posted, but I think I might try to cut out the foam so the Cera sits in a way that won't induce oil spilling out of the cartridge when the case sits upright (if that even happens? lol). I was thinking a 45º angle, maybe?

I heard the cart cant spill oil because its like a sponge and the oil is basically "soaked" into it?? I just read through these threads too much lol.

I posted on the last page about having 2 LL carts, well TET took care of me really good.. Customer service is pretty good IMO.. I didn't purchase the cart or cera directly from them and they still worked with me..

I bought it brand new off somebody else (who got it direct from TET), as long as it was new they exchanged it for me.

I am sending my LL out tonight, cant wait til Wednesday..I'll have my time with the LL Cera, and should probably be vaping up all the oil i stacked up by next week..

Im still pissed I wont have any water pieces to use with the Cera, my bong AND bubbler broke last night (bubbler fell onto the bong)

Yeah totally, you can cut it how ever, it's pretty easy. Only thing about cutting it diagonally is that it won't be fully secure in the case, maybe the MP would be but the bottom would have room to move up and down. And once oil settles and isn't hot, it shouldn't just be spilling out. Maybe PG or eLiquid might spill out. But most oils stay where they are and shouldn't run...

But I use it as a traveling case, and display case. Keeps everything I need in one spot, and is a nice soft/secure spot to store the Cera when not in use.

I also have a super soft Versache glasses bag I like to put the Cera in. Gives it a high level of prestige. ;)

It depends on how cold your Cera is when you start, but in general it should start producing vapor after ~10 seconds, with full thick vapor after an additional 10 sec warmup.

Thanks Tim! I messed around with it some more, it seems to be working pretty good.

Great products btw! I'll be calling in soon ordering a bunch of more goodies :) already making my list.

I just realized I didn't get my mouthpiece that was supposed to come with my EO core... I know it was just something they were including but I wanted that. Hmm, I gotta order some more stuff anyways, maybe I'll ask them about it then.

i didnt get one either. but i did get a silicone MP cap which i wasnt expecting. not a big deal.
