Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The glass was clean, I was just screwing around, didn't expect the result at all . . .

I have done this too with a wet qtip trying to clean off the resin ring while it was hot. I figured the heat of the glass with a warm and wet qtip (did not want to chance cold water and cracking the bamboo) would help clean it better. I had my cloud at the highest and I have the ticker model. I get a nice sizzling sound once I get the Qtip down about mid way. If I touch the top of the bamboo it is not hot enough to sizzle so the fact the ELB is yet a bit farther I don't have a lot of concern about accidentally breathing in some burning cotton.

Yeah try it with ISO . . . :freak: nice sizzle indeed . . . cleans instantly if done properly.

Good suggestion on the Iso. I will try that while it is hot. I have yet to be able to get the resin ring out. I did not realize a resin ring built up and just let me cloud go for months without ever checking.

For the resin ring, if you have allowed it to accumulate and reaming with a prep pad/iso q-tip is insufficient, a gentle scrape with something like a dental tool can yield positive results. There is also PBW to consider . . .

Well, my Cloud just fried about ten minutes ago. Was drawing, then lifted the unit to clear and it made a "popping" sound and sparked and turned off. Now it won't even turn on. Cloud is very new too, it delivered on the 20th. Oh well. Opening up a Support ticket.

We need to keep our system simple so that we are legally protected, the more complicated the more we need to pay our lawyers. This is our policy, simply buy from VapeXhale, ezvapes.com, vaporizors.ca, vapornation, vaporstore, and from any of our authorized distributors and this will not be a concern. Enjoy the clouds. Edit -- And soon to be http://www.australianvaporizers.com.au/, and some other international distributors as well ;)

I want to purchase one of these units as soon as possible. But now I am confused about what to order and who to order from. I don't understand this "Cloud Plus".. Is this another device? If I ordered today from any of the above listed websites would I get a Cloud or Cloud Plus? How do I get the "good" unit? The one described as being upgraded from the old technology, or from the new manufacturer. Are those only being shipped from VapeXhale right now? I want to order this in the first week of March ideally for my target delivery date. I read MANY of the pages in this thread and still I am confused. If someone who knows the answers to my queries could help me out, that would be helpful.

PBW is my plan since 3 weeks ago. I finally had a reason to drive by a home depot and got the rubber stopper so I can do a PBW soak. I will sometime in the next few days.

Cloud Plus is the name of an extended warranty you can purchase to extend your warranty to a total of 3 years. There was a recent official announcement about gradual improvements that have been made to the Cloud. I am not sure why, but people have taken accustom to calling the newest models with these improvements Cloud Pluses.

I cannot say for sure that if you ordered from a distributer you would get the newest model, but as the improvements have been happening gradually, I think you have good chances. That is strictly IMO though. I really have no idea. I do believe it is known that all of the units bought directly from VXH are now the newest model with all the listed improvements. :2c:

Hope that helps a little :)

It does help. Thank you. I hope that its true! I am going to take the plunge but I think I will order direct from VapeXhale's site just to be sure. I noticed some of the sites listed in my previous posts mention they are carrying the new models with a 2 year warranty, faster heat up time, and heat shield modifications, maybe they do have the new unit as well. I wish one of the people from their team would ease my worries before I drop 600+, Troi or anyone.

Instead of counting on answer from the forum I would phone them. In my experience they are fine to talk to.

One more day until my precious comes in the mail. I cannot wait to stop ripping bowls out of my bong its just not doing it for me -__- Btw guys, I highly recommend puffitup for cloud purchases. You can pick one up for $383 shipped and their customer service is fantastic. When my tracking number wasn't working, I got almost instant responses not only from a chat rep but from Randy over there via email and they assured me it was shipped and that the number takes time to refresh, in which later yesterday the number was there. They had it shipped 3 hours after I ordered it at around 8 PST. Cant wait to unbox the baby. Youll be seeing plenty of milk vids from me ;)

You're free to start a discussion on that topic in the Lounge if you like. We're not going to discuss it here. My statement was about what's possible and what's not. And considering that some people have damaged their units by accident in the past, and couldn't even get a repair even though they were willing to pay for it, I think it's perfectly acceptable for buyer and seller to work out a warranty repair if they choose. Put it in a sales contract if you like. As for transferable warranties, there are certainly products that have them. One example is the Magic Flight LB.

Well I think you are wrong. I think that you are taking advantage of the company. My opinion. Which I am entitled to and no I do not need to start a seperate thread. Let your conscious be your guide.

ROOSTA, while entitled to your opinion, you are not entitled to have the "last word" with a moderator here. It treads on this rule of ours:

So my suggestion is immoral? Thanks so much for your opinion. I could make the same case for the company taking advantage of buyers by not informing them that their units would be unrepairable (money wise) even if they were willing to pay for the repair. I know that wasn't done on purpose though, and that situation was later resolved. It still resulted in some unhappy buyers.

I think that you are taking advantage of the company.
How so? I haven't sold my unit to anyone. I just explained that's it's perfectly legal for a buyer and seller to work out a sales agreement that takes warranty repair into consideration. A product is guaranteed for a specific time period. As long as the orginal buyer is requesting warranty svc (assuming that's the requirement), no company should care who the actual current user of the product is. Also, if the product is a gift, the owner isn't the buyer, yet the owner still has warranty rights, and any reputable company would honor the claim as long as the person has a receipt to show the product is within the warranty period.

Let your conscious be your guide.
That's conscience, and I have no problem with mine. That's as far as an off topic discussion on legality vs. morality is going to go here.

Thanks for the assist mom. I was writing up my post and you beat me to it. I'm fine with his one last post though. I didn't post in red or anything and I think one more post on my part makes my position quite clear as a member and a vape fan, and to keep the thread on topic. Subject closed, in this thread anyway.

Thank you Moomoo and Maximus! If the company has no problem with that than I understand. I was just trying to stand up for a good company and my opinion was that it was taking advantage of a situation. That was it, did not know you were a moderator. I thought stickstones was the moderator. Happy vaping!

The star beside the user name denotes mod status. And my post was mostly as a member (until the caution about starting a discussion on warranties and morality), so no problem. I did edit my last post a couple of times, so you may want to reread it, since it makes my position (and the gray areas of warranty coverage) more clear.

So... this is just my GAS talking. Oh, and clever marketing by VapeXhale. Anyway, I saw the video on FB about the Cloud Buddy. I then started thinking that I want one. I love how you don't have to pull the Cloud off after every hit. So, of course, I started thinking that I need all stemless designs that can support the Cloud and be used with the CB!

This led to me wanting to sell all my glass except my Mobius bub and the 65t. The idea is to replace them with Mobius pieces that can support the Cloud and utilize the CB ;)

Is this a crazy idea? Would you even use the CB with a Mobius bubbler, or just the stemless tubes?

Can anyone tell me how they use their CB and with what pieces? I am seriously thinking of doing this. I only use my nice glass with the Cloud now. But then again, I just cleaned the Cloud and loaded it with some Blueberry Haze. I might not be thinking clearly on this!

It is not crazy. I have a hydratube and a Mobius and I rarely use the Hydratube anymore. I have the 60t and cloud buddy and used it a couple of times. It is nice to use it as a carb but the cloud buddy is just a bit too big to fit into my jar of iso. I also feel that it is less stable on the 60t than just the cloud on it. The 65t would be a bit more stable though but same problem. It also raises the cloud higher such that I feel it is in my way on the 60t.

For me I think getting a 45 adapter is the most ideal for the 60t because it will collect most of the reclaim and it fits in my iso jars for cleaning. I had one and used it a lot until my girl dropped it. Now I just leave the cloud upside down on the 60t stem between hits. It works well this way for me.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the cloud and cloud buddy often stick together so if you are not using a keck clip (yet another thing to have to manage) and you pull the cloud off which is how I usually do it sometimes the cloud buddy sticks to it and then falls. It is an easy way to shatter it or worse yet chip your Mobius and shatter the CB.

I'm using the CB on my Matrix Clear, and also used it on the stemless. It makes using the cloud a bit easier, esp. when other people are hitting it. They can carb and not mess with the cloud at all. I don't see why you wouldn't want to use it on the bubs. It does put the cloud a bit taller, so top heavy might be the only thing to be concerned about, but with the base on that Ion, I don't see it being much of an issue.

Probably not. :D (Didn't we cover this in the Mobius thread?)

I use the CB with both the larger Micro Clear and the Ion because the CB fits better in the Clear's joint than does the Cloud, the CB puts the Cloud comfortably away from my face, and especially for the carb so I don't have to lift the Cloud to clear.

I didn't like the CB as much with my 60t. For that matter, I was rather disappointed with the balancing act required with the Cloud and the stemless. So I sold it. The 60t that is, not the Cloud!

The cloud buddy doesn't work too well with my stemless - it elevates the cloud to which its sphincter is right in my face. :p

Have spent a good six months since I received my Vapexhale Cloud trying to find the perfect piece of glass for inverting the cloud. If the devastator came as a single chambered bub I might have gone with that, but for bargain quality I have contracted my perfect piece :D

On paper it is perfect anyway. It might end up being too much volume for me, but we shall see once it arrives.
