http://glassblowersdirect.com/waterpipes Look at the Orange Crush straight stemless... It has a frit disc and choice of tree perc/ showerhead for only 200$... I haven't used one but from the way frit discs diffuse along with the showerhead it's gotta rip like a champ. Just something to look at for a nice waterpipe adapter for the solo

Edit: It does look a lil on the large side for those who were just discussing a portable option.. but none the less looks like a solid piece

Hey SteezyJ - if you were looking at that HT on there I am little concerned as there doesn't seem to have any spill over guard at the bottom protecting your device. If you take a look at any of hydratubes on VXC's website you will see what I mean. My Swagger is a bitch to clean (or at least get the water out) but at the same time offers me comfort in knowing it's not going to drip into one of my toys :cool:

Please tell me what the different light mean. I turned my solo on and the 7th light lot up. That means its a full batt correct? Then the red blinking light started which means charge right? When I tried heating it no lights other than the #1 setting light. I've got it on the charger right now green light just a blinking away. Just worried me that the batt light says its full but I can't get it to heat up
After a bit on the charger it heats up properly but still says the battery is at level 7.

Out of all the HT's on the xhale website hits the best? They all look pretty solid, but I'm partial to the circ perc's so i'm lookin at the swagger circ or the hyrdacirc... Any preference on your end?

It doesn't sound like you have an issue at all...be calm and vape away. When you press the two buttons for the solo to go on the blue and 7 light go on for a moment then a bunch of yellow lights. That last bunch of yellow lights indicates how much charge you have.

My guess is it charged a big when you plugged it back in cause you were playing with it but I bet it was quick. You are all good enjoy. Any qustions ask away.

So i just saw a solo for cheap on puffitup. Just wondering if this is legit because im minutes away from pulling the trigger on it. 160 sounds a little to good to be true. Anyone used this site. Im new to vaping and fc. Thanks for any input

It's absolutely legit just got mine today in Michigan and I ordered it from puffitup in Sacramento on Friday night about 11 pm. Randy is awesome! Lightning fast shipping great customer support! Not to mention the solo is fucking awesome!
Also if u use the code solo190 instead of solo160 you'll get the hard case for it too and you save almost 20 bucks on the case that way.

The instruction manual (if you got one) sucks, but I assume you know you need to push the up arrow a couple of times once it's been turned on to set the temperature to the level you want - make sure the (single) orange light reaches 2 or 3 which should work fine for good dry herb. Otherwise it won't heat up - just sits there.

The red light flashes when the heater is drawing power and after 40 secs or so you should see the lowest two (or three) orange lights lit up, indicating it has reached your selected temperature and is ready to hit.

For a brand new Solo, 2 or 3 full 12 minute (it has auto shut off) cycles at 7 are recommended to burn off any new solo robofart smells....

I am also looking buying the solo from puffitup for 160. It is the newest model. However, they advertise it as having a 6 hour battery life, and based on my brief research on the solo that seemed to be exaggerated. is 6 hours of continous vaping anywhere near accurate? Maybe it is an improvement they made with the new model, but it just sounded too good to be true so I thought I'd ask for some input. TIA for any and all responses

Is there a way to put a padlock on the hardcase? Like are there any holes through the handle or anything like that

Mine regularly does 6 or maybe 8 stems @ #2 or #3 and about 10 minutes each between charges - might do more.
You might get 6 hours of fun out of 6 or 8 stems, but I do not believe you could possibly get 6 hours of non-stop use on the stock (or any other dual lipo) battery pack.
6 hours continuous running time sounds like an estimate from a really, really stoned fool experiencing severe time dilation

I got a "vapecase" when I purchased mine from Patrick on eGay - it does have a slot you might be able to slide a thin cable through for a padlock but no obvious padlock friendly holes and not really enough room to drill any AFAIK.
Mind you, once the sucker is closed it takes a really strong pair of hands to get it open - I usually end up reaching for a screwdriver to prise the catch open.

Yea I'd say I get about 5 stems anywhere from 6-12 minute sessions, starting on level 3 and progressively increasing the temp all the way to 7 each time to ensure that I get the most out of it

The higher the temperature, the more drain will be put on the battery. However, I try to not let the battery life go down past level 2, therefore you might be able to squeeze some more out of it, but don't because you'll ruin the battery. Charge it frequently, rather than letting it die down to being uncharged.

Pakalolo I see you have the MFLB x 2 of them.

I got the SOLO because the batteries were driving me crazy on the MFLB and I was having top shelve flowers tasting like burnt pop corn. I must have been doing it wrong?

Since I went to the SOLO I find it easier to manage and I get the full flavor profile of my flowers.
