Yes. The hose that comes with it will fit inside an EQ hose, and that will gets you right to an 18mm gong.

I think the thread should be moved to plug-in vaporizers, because this vape it's in the same league as Cloud or SSV as everybody says. It's a home unit that happens to be portable if you buy the official battery for it.
I tried to vape salvia out of my MV but with no result. Even at red level I only smell it, with no clouds production. I'll try with a x5 concentrate i have, I think maybe it's more rich in essential oil that pure leaf..

Salvia has an higher extraction temperature.. i think its like 250C or something..
You can vape Salvia, but the best effects come from torching it. People debate it all the time, but in my experience, that is the only way to really feel it. Vaping will give you a buzz of sorts, but I find it gives me a headache.
Usually when I try to vape it, it is either on my SSV at full blast or my FV.

I can't agree more. I use it more at home than outside. It kicked my volcano out of his place. I use it with both battery and AC adapter, even at home it can be convenient to be able to move without even waiting for it to cool down you simply put the battery and you're good to move.

Indeed, given the package that includes the battery module is €100 more and adds quite a bit of length to the MV, it seems valid to consider the MV a potentially portable desktop unit and categorize it that way here.

Does anyone know when slides for less will be carrying the 2013 model ? And does that mean that the new model hasn't started shipping from the manufacturer? I wish there was more information in general about minivap! The only recent info I've seen was on some e cig blog that said s4less would offer the new mv at the launch price...every Internet review I read seems to just be a just another recycled description of mv...that's frustrating.its like I'm huniting for rainbows

I have the feeling that loading more than 100mg leads to less efficiency, taste and is overkill in my case.
I loaded 80mg and had the best taste I had for a long time, I was always loading above .1 theses days, I figured out I was over loading, the MV is really efficient and that can lead to over medication and not balanced effects.

After a few days of using it I feel that an improvement for the mv could be a system implementing a convex screen on top in place of the concave one we have now. It could help the herb staying in place when pulling. I think that by pulling you lead part of the herb to adhere to the concave screen. After a few hits I tend to open the vap to remove such material from the screen. If not, the bowl content doesn't vape evenly. I see brown material stuck on said screen and the rest of the bowl is still green. It happens to me especially whit not so dried or very sticky material (I have to figure out if both concur or it's only my fault for vaping material that should be dried some more, as you would do for mblf.

I have a huge jar filled with salt that I heated to eliminate inner moisture content, then tied up in some clean cotton cloth, so it doesn't go on buds. When I get some stuff, I always place it a night in there so it is crispy dry. I don't put it too long cause it kind of kills the taste it you let it sit in there.

It kills the taste because it kills the terpenes and that would probably mean you overdried them.
Edit: How long do you dry them usually? I think i'm gonna try this sometime soon.

please somebody tell me how to remove the teflon white circular part. I don't want to use a spoon and risk to damage it and I didn't even realized where to put such a spoon and apply pressure.

It kills the taste when you use the desiccator jar as a storage. I usually let it inside one night, no more. I can assure you that the taste I get is astronomic
I wouldn't remove the Teflon cone as it is a pain in the ass to put back (had to disassemble the unit, I wouldn't force it), it doesn't look so dirty to justify such a heavy procedure. First time I did it was after 6 months of use and there was nearly nothing to clean.
I never removed it myself but once I had to replace the beta decarbox ring for the original Teflon and that alone forced me to disassemble the unit so I was sure to avoid any broke.

I do it every few days when using as my primary because I like a clean screen on the bottom (it gets easier after multiple removals and re-insertions). I scratched mine up a little the first time ... the spoon thing basically is to try to get a grip ... I don't think it's great ... but I haven't figured something else out yet ... I think I may try to fashion a removal tool (reverse chip remover essentially) to try to deal with this issue.
You have to press the spoon handle, on a slight angle but not leveraging against the opposite side, and pull up while pushing the handle against the cylinder ... (I used a plastic screw upside down, once I got it up enough to get the head under, to lift it the remainder of the way out, minimizing the damage done by the spoon. Now that it's loosened up a bit I haven't been increasing the damage at all.)
They are going to be selling an accessory/maintenance kit soon that will have screens, cone, cylinder, bottom ring, silicone tubes. I'm going to purchase a couple of these as long as the price isn't crazy as soon as they're available. I hate not having spare parts!

I'm using it mainly with water tools, so upside down, with that and the new cone system the MV itself stays 100% clean without inner maintenance. My baskets and grills used in a one shot system, I thoroughly clean them after each use. I always need more parts too. I would need a dozen caps, and double that for the baskets and screens sets

Would you use normal stainless steel sold in head shops as a spare part? The official ones are safer?
I clog a screen a day with intense use. I cleaned one burning it with a flame to remove the residue. It was pretty much resin and smelled like burning incense/hash.
