I have no idea, but my guess is, if you are looking for less diffusion you should not be looking at the gear which obviously had allot of science go into the in's and out's of having as much diffusion as possible.

Ahyeah, you're the one that made me LOL at page 3. You forfaited all your social skills
Science doesn't have to do with reducing diffusion. He's advertising a product geared towards smoking... on a site called fuckcombustion. I'm asking for less diffusion for it to suit my needs seeing as it's being sold on here. I don't think that's too out of line, which is why I asked him.

Yeah sorry, not a native English speaking person. Was in the process of deleting the remark because it was stupid anyway. Nothing good could come from it. And pushed the post reply button on accident.

But lwien, I know you're involved in this thread, never the less, I really feel the guy needs someone on his side. He is obviously willing to listen, and all he gets is shit flung to his head. Why?

Disclaimer; I don't know the guy, I just read the thread from the beginning to the end and... wow... it's mind boggling what happened in this thread.

QA took his only ally in this thread, lwien, and bit him in the ass. If you want to know why read the thread.

Hey t-dub, I've read the thread. And no, Iwien was never his ally and I understand fully why OP said what he said about Iwien.

But that was not my point so totally besides the question anyway.

This threads amazing lmao! So quetz what if we made diffuser plugs for the X3? Think it would be relatively easy that way you could decide exactly how many percolators you wanted to use! eh??
He's advertising a product geared towards smoking...
The JET is geared for versatility. Our mantra ,saying, or slogan, etc. that we have had from the beginning, is the JET is without a doubt "The worlds most revolutionary waterpipe."

(Auch, wasn't I on topic?)

Anyway, to be fair, I am looking for my first waterpipe to vape with. So I don't have a (1st hand) clue what the differences should be with a regular waterpipe. But as I've seen posted here before, more or less diffusion is more of a personal preference than a science (please correct me if I'm wrong)

Obviously this was made for regular combustion. But I like the idea and do want to give it a try with a vape. (Seems a perfect fit for a VG coil)

BTW, How do I win this contest??

YES!!! I like the plugs idea. 3x, 5x or 20x It's all to much for vapors. If I could take out the disk and use it as a natural perc as well. I'm new to this water pipe thing can I take the diffuser disk out and still use it as a natural perc bong. I apologize if you have already answered this but I missed it if you did. I have seen a cheap ghetto version of this pop up and another on the way. I guess when new ideas and products come into the market they cost a lot. sure the Jet is one of the first of these new products.
But if your spending $50 on the base and then you need to profit tack on some lifetime warranty that means little to me and others with a short life span. I think the short tube cost more then the long on your site or at least it did before. Looking at $250 maybe $300 with the plugs. I know people spend a lot of money on water pipe but mostly because they love glass and art and the artist making it. It's almost like the Jet is geared towards the poor person but the cost is to much or maybe it's geared towards people that spend a lot of money on art, glass, but then it's not art, glass. I don't know if you know this I've wanted this since the first time I seen it and I've read everything, everything about this pipe. I understand function over form but as the price keeps going up it still seems so far from sensible.

Calling another member a troll and using that tone is against our rules. Infraction issued.
Frogboy please stop trying to troll me. Your opinions are dead wrong, for instance:"But if your spending $50 on the base and then you need to profit tack on some lifetime warranty that means little to me and others with a short life span" What the fuck are you talking about, are you kidding me? Pretty sure everyone would agree that having a waterpipe that hits better than most high end RooRs and Illadelphs that's a fraction of the cost and WONT BREAK is a pretty good feature to have.
"I understand function over form but as the price keeps going up it still seems so far from sensible"
The price has never gone up it's always been 189$
I desperately want to know why your even posting in here anyway, your not going to get a JET, the JET is exactly what your NOT looking for. The JET is designed to be indestuctible, while giving the smoothest rip mathematically possible within our given dimensions. You just said you don't want any of this and none of the features mean anything to you. So why do you keep trolling me and posting your negative opinions? It really makes no sense, in fact it's completely asinine and a waste of both ours time.

Your certificates for your store expired.

And WHY do I have to make an account just to browse the store?? I don't see this on any of the websites I visit.

By the way, "hits better" in an incredibly subjective statement. I don't know if I'd pick the JET as my first, second, or third piece if I were to dab some oil.

Quantum, I said that I was going to stay out of this, but your comments above cannot go by without a comment from me.

You are amazing for not even having a clue that if you did your job right, if in fact, you can turn a "problem" customer or a potential "problem" customer into a REAL customer, that they have a tendency to become one of your most loyal customers that one can have, but rather than do that, you call his posts asinine.

Maybe it's because of the decades that I spent training salesmen and sales managers that I find it difficult letting stuff like this go, but you are breaking every rule when it comes to the art of salesmanship.

If you are part owner of this company, than stick to design or manufacturing. You are obviously way out of your element here and you and your company would be both doing yourselves a favor if you get someone who is actually trained in sales and marketing and knows what in the hell they are doing.

The Jet may be a fantastic product, but YOU are doing that product more harm than good.

If you mean the glass rods, I think those are just a 'lighter alternative', heat up a glass rod with a torch and use that to light regular bowls with. I could be very wrong though.

I like the stacks, but from what I can tell the vid makes it look like anything higher than 3 levels is wasted during the hit and just gets wet on the clear.

That fat wall tube looks ridiculous - in a good way.

Very amusing thread I must say. Real LOL moments between the lines. I had to read the whole thread once I started.

Quick question. As previously noted in this thread there are Mobius wishlisters, which I put myself into that category. :D Anywho, I wasnt aware that tooo much diffusion is a bad thing with vapes.

This Jetstack definitely made  when I saw the twitter avatar and so many bubbles.

So are you telling me that too much bubbles isnt good for flavor & potency???!?!?
I thought the bubbles are good, it cools it down for you and makes your bud taste good, am I wrong?

And to Quantum, you seem very passionate about your product which is good, but its never good to attack other people because that karma comes right back, even if your right. I gained so much vaping knowledge in the past few months from this community, so thats why everyone is quick to refer to the vets who obviously have insight and experience. This is fuckcombustion for a reason lol. On a side note, I got infractions and even banned also. Never again though.

LNL...I have found that water diminishes the taste as the flavorful terpenes are filtered out. I have not noticed a difference in potency and effects. From Roger's research in the RezBlock thread, it looks like some water additives can help potency by not letting the actives get trapped in the first place.

Thanks for the info, I use Rezblock so I should be good on the latter, but wasnt aware of water affecting taste, i thought it helped out with the taste. Good to know, I'm glad I read this thread for sure. Just one more question, or two. :)

Does the water level affect the taste? i.e. a bigger piece would use more water, therefore lose even more flavor then maybe a piece smaller with less water or is the flavor loss relative to just any water amount in general?

More water creates more drag, and with RezBlock, means the solution will last longer. More diffusion is easier on the throat/lungs but means less taste. The debate about potency continues, there may be something to the RezBlock allowing actives to pass through . . . I'm still experimenting. I pretty much break glass into 3 diffusion "gears" Low would be something like a showercap, short fill (like 5-6ml), light diffusion, lots of flavor/character but hotter and harsher. Medium is like a showerdome, nice middle of the road, good flavor, decent conditioning. High would be like a double chambered affair or a fritted disc or any number of high diffusion pieces. This will strip the most flavor/character but provide the ability to medicate with bigger hits for longer periods of time.

Sometimes I will start an ELB with a low diffusion piece, for flavor, then finish it with a higher diffusion piece, to not be wasteful, and make that last hit go down a little smoother.

Edit: Vapor and smoke have different fluid and diffusion requirements, vapor needing less of everything, imho.

I will most definitely be awaiting the results of that project.

So cools it down for you and your throat yes, but all at the price of that oh so yummy taste. Noted.

And finally, still off topic but why would the cloud be considered, excuse me if I am incorrect, the best tasting vape out there & it uses WATER????

Edit: I also want to note that I switched to vaping so I can be healthier, conserve, but most importantly TASTE the high grade ish that I splurge and spend so much $$$ on.

Sorry don't want to derail the thread. The Cloud is a weapon of mass extraction wet or dry because it's heater/glass air path/ELB technology all come together to make lots of thick, tasty, vapor. I prefer moisture conditioned vapor because you can get medicated properly and get all of your flavor. Try drinking water after you have vaped through it and you will understand. So moisture conditioned vapor allows me to medicate, without discomfort, to levels not possible without diffusion, pure and simple, and a lot of flavors after the first hit or two, I want down-regulated, each strain is different though and even temperature will effect this. You can get a showercap if you prefer low diffusion . . .

5 month bump... just blew $220 on a JET SubZero.

Arizer Solo GonG on the way from PlanetVape, everyone will know how I like the combination of the two very soon hopefully :D

I didn't see this thread earlier when I was searching quickly but bought it on a recommendation of a friend who still combusts and is not switched over to the good side (vape side) yet!

Geez... this thread was something else to read.... :o:whip:
