Discontinued Inhalater XP

The Auto setting on the XP is located just past the 9 on the dial and is for tobacco.

I know they say that, but isn't it just for the purposes of marketing it? You can't mention weed. Just like in headshops, no mentioning of weed. I would assume auto was made with weed in mind or at least work perfect for it.

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
We heard no cause it was said that the the 004 can't do tobacco IIRC. So I believe it really is for tobacco.

Here's the results from my first inhvs inhxp challenge. I started with both of them cold and turned them on maximum temperature with empty capsules in them. I immediately noticed that the capsule fit in much easier on the xp. i tried several new capsules on both the inh and the inhxp and they all slid in and out easier with the xp. In the xp they also click down on place but on my inh the capsule fit is tight and no clicking in place. The inhxp hit temp at 72 sec while the inh took 102 seconds. So the xp wins by 30 sec. Next I filled a capsule with ground herb, put it in the xp, hooked it to a gong adapter, put that in a bong and started my test! It took me a bit to dial in how to hit it because it almost draws too well so its easy to drop the temp down. My goal here was to milk big bong hits and try to keep the light solid so I ended up plugging up a hole or 2 to make it easier to draw slowly. I hit it repeatedly until the light went off. The total on time was 10 min 45 sec. I was getting decent vapor for about 8 min, and at the end pretty much nothing. The ABV was dark brown throughout and looked fully vaporized. I did the same thing for my test with the inh. Total time was 8 mins 10 seconds. i was just getting the last if the vapor as the inh turned off. Both gave me very similar sized clouds throughout the session and hit very similar once warmed up. The ABV did look slightly darker from the inh but the load was a little smaller. So far I think the xp is a good improvement to an already great product. The capsules fit better, it warms up faster, and it is easier to draw. My only gripe so far is that the tobacco setting is at the end of the dial and I enjoy max temp vaping so I have to be careful and not turn it up too high. I will be doing some field testing in the future and will post up my thoughts later after I break in this xp a little more.

No, the XP will not seal to the glass without an adapter. You could push down and get it to work, but the seal would not be air tight. The Auto setting on the XP is located just past the 9 on the dial and is for tobacco. I had a chance to try mine out for a bit last night. It definitely heats up quicker than the old Inhalater. Another thing I noticed was that if I started hitting it too hard the light would start blinking, but if I slowed my draw the light would blink faster and then go solid. With the old Inhalater if the light started blinking while I was hitting it I would have to stop and wait to get it to go back to solid. This seems to indicate that the heating element is much more efficient. I have both Inhalaters on the charger now so when I'm done with work they should both be fully charged and ready for some direct comparison testing.
I use a rubber washer (from the EQ bag kits) around the wide part of the capsule up to the body of the INH and it seals perfectly with a 14mm GonG

Here's the results from my first inhvs inhxp challenge.
Thanks a lot for this! I'm sorta' waiting for the consensus on XP vs 004 in order to decide whether to buy an XP or not ... thanks for taking one for the team

My INH004 gets up to max temp in 71 seconds. I only got it a couple of months ago, so I'm wondering if some XP improvements made it into the later batches of 004's? Or maybe your battery is run down a bit?

The room they were in was cold so they were like 60 deg when I turned them on. When I tested with herb the xp got to temp very fast, like 30 sec. The inh was at about a minute on the second run. The xp also gets back up to temp quicker after hitting it. Another difference is the way the light blinks. It blinks much slower when first turned on, so there is a larger range of blink speeds between cool to hot. It's easier to tell how close to temp you are.

The changed the software for the light flashing. Its more sensistive now according to the manufacturer on the XP. I dont think it says anything about the heating element other than they changed the algorithm for the light flashing.

A capsule holds .2 to .3g normally.

No, they will be selling pre-filled tobacco carts on their website. Its really designed for tobacco. The auto setting for herbs is pick a number on the dial between 1-9. its auto temperature regulated. I'm not sure what else you might be expecting it to do?

Well it's been a crazy busy week, but somehow found time to film my friends new xp I preordered for him. I've had the inh004, and will be doing a review and showdown between this and the solo next next week. Cheers guys and gals, I loaded up a kief/herb/kief/herb/kief/herb sandwich and got too stoned..

so a random question about the xp... how much do those capsules hold? sorry if i missed this somewhere.

usually i throw about 0.2 in there and its more than enough for me...keeps me in a good lvl for at least 1-2 hours

actually i think that i read in pharmacor's site that the inha 004 was made to be used only with cannabis, chamomile and carnation strictly...some of these products are medical users in countries or states where cannabis is legal.

How much have you guys been putting into your capsules for a session? They look kind of big and that would be the one hint that would turn me away from this vape. How do you think it would do with a Solo stem's worth of material?

Also Sonics, let us know how that re-charger works our. With two or three of those I think that could give me enou power for a music rest!

I placed my order from the seller on eBay on February 16th. The funds were removed from my bank account by the 19th and I'm still waiting for it. Once I receive it I will update and post in this topic

Works fine with partially loaded capsules. Its not necessary for the device to function. .1 works very well......
