USPS doesn't know where my package is... Bummer
It left the sort facility 20 miles from my place on Sunday, but never made it to my P.O....

Now you can join the Tweek club...you gotta love the mail service NOT. I got my two packages today that I was expecting but I just consider it luck.

Havealight what did they say about it? If it isn't on the tracking system then it is stolen and they have to make it right. I am sure they know who was driving it cause everything is logged in and out of the facility.

Yup, tweek club it is...
Talked to national CS around 430, they were no help, but said to call later and start an inquiry if it didn't come by the end of the day.
I then spoke with my actual p.o. and they were kind enough to search around, but to no avail.
So I guess its the waiting game. TET has been notified.

That really sucks. Sorry you and Tweek had to go through this. One of the packages I got today was from PV and that crossing the boarder stuff and then going to an international place took a long time. I was amazed. The funny thing is a few years back I got something from Amsterdam and it got here faster and with less sorting places and less hold times lol.

So, I was pretty set on ordering a LL in the next day or so. Now however, I'm not so sure I even bother invested the money in it, with all this latching business, I'm not totally convinced it will be worth the cash anymore. What do you guys think I should do? Get the LL or not?

Hello Everyone,

I have lurked on this forum for awhile now (this is my first post), but when I ordered my Cera I decided it was time to give back to the community! :)

I preordered a Cera on Dec. 12th, and it arrived last saturday (the 16th). Big shout out to Zeki for making sure it got out on friday so I could bring it to a friend's house and make some videos for you guys. I will also give my impressions after testing it normally, with glass, and with pipe and cigarette tobacco.
Before I get into all of this I feel I should describe my vaping experience. I have owned a Arizer Extreme Q (for just a few months before it got stolen, prompting me to preorder my Cera) and a Magic Flight Launch Box (was my "daily driver" tho i didn't quite use it daily, for about 6 months). I have also used both analog and digital Volcanoes, and a roommate's VaporBros.

So, the first thing I did when I got my Cera was bring it to my friend's house (medical patient w/ nice glass) unopened and make an unboxing video:

I apologize for the out of focus and lack of sound, but we didn't have time to make a huge production out of these. Anyways, after this I took my first hit. Having lived with a Launch Box for so long, I am aware of and used to the breath control required for fan-less vapes, and so I ended up exhaling a reasonable cloud. My reaction? I was extremely impressed. The best flavor I have ever experienced out of anything, and it started to hit me just about instantly. Frankly it made me feel bad for anyone who owns a Launch Box. Convection FTW! Call me shy, but I didn't upload the video of this- I can do so privately and post the password if people really want to se it.

Next, I hit the Cera with my best friend's Toro micro 7/13. This didn't look very impressive, and I didn't get much vapor, because frankly getting the O-ring to seal on a '14 joint is fiddly. You'll see what I mean in the video where my friend milks it. Frankly, this really isn't a big deal at all IMO. First of all, i'm sure one would get a feel for this with practice. Second, 18-14 adapters ain't exactly hard to come by. We had instant success with the '18 joint on my friend's Prototype Zobello perc Zob (prototype because he got it long before the Zobello perc was released)

This one looked pretty good to me, but honestly both my friend and I feel that the fact that I haven't yet come up with a latching switch mod held us back. Either way, after this we actually managed to milk the Toro Micro 7/13

I should mention that my friends, like me, were impressed by the quality and (to a slightly lesser degree) quantity of vapor coming out of the Cera. However, two of my friends who are seriously into dabbing both said basically "it's too much effort." I understand their position- there's a learning curve or two involved with the cera, and the lack of a latching switch is straight up inconvenient. However, they both wanted to try the oil version, as I suspect their views were largely colored by the fact that their tolerances prevent them from getting lots of return from anything but oil.

I have to get to work now, but really quickly, I also tried the cera with pipe tobacco and tobacco from a Nat Sherman Black and Gold cig. Flavor is unbelievable.

Cheers,
MPZ

Hello friend happy for your arrival.someone must've answered this already but you said you preorder your cera on December 12 just wanted to know tif hat was accurate or did you actually mean November 12th sorry for being that guy.

I think with the mod it would be fine. Are you new to vaporizing or do you have many? I think that would make a point for your decision. IMO this is not a first vape product but some have bought it as there first and are very happy.

What's up with these December preorders arriving when not all the November orders have shipped yet? Perhaps they slipped Zeki and co. a little something extra to get bumped up on the list? :suspicious:

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I can only speak for myself having cancelled my pre-order over the delays AND the elimination of the latching switch.

My 'feeling' on the latching switch is that it IS necessary for ME for LL, however for the EO and EL is perfect for its use.

So I will be ordering again once things are in constant supply, but unless someone comes up with a 'MOD' for the switch to stay on some how, it will be only for the EO and 'maybe' the EL (should we see more vid reviews in use), but for LL I'll stick with my SOLO and consider trying out the FlashVape.

Really wanted (hoped) this CERA was going to be 'MY' all in one, but whatever...... shit happens

Bronz: if you're uncertain you can always wait until more in-depth videos and reviews come out. don't think there's a rush to order now especially since theyre back-ordered anyhow. if i were you i'd just hang tight and keep learning before deciding, educated decisions are the best ones!

Well weird. At first i thought MPZ probably just typo'ed about his pre-order date in his thread and people were making a fuss about nothin. But it seems the youtube video title also says: "I preordered my Cera on Dec 12th. They rushed mine out a bit so I could have it for president's day weekend... and to make the videos to follow"
So maybe double typos i guess. Maybe not...Bleh. :tinfoil:

The latest pre-orders to get shipping notices last week and today were from Nov 20th-26th-ish range...
Not exactly blasting through the backorders like i hoped they might after the bulk parts arrived, but quality takes time i suppose, and quality is the goal.
I'm guessing (from the pics) maybe 6-9 units shipped thursday, and 9-12 shipped on friday, TET's facebook says another 10 or so going out today. Means there's still at least 30+ orders need to ship before they reach my early december order. I wanna say hopefully this week!...but based on previous results, probably not. Trying to stay positive though, always darkest before the light and so forth. Time to warm up the Cloud... :mmmm:

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm not all that bitter as I just rec'd a shipping notice on my Nov 23 order. Maybe the shipping director is using their Cera too much and got confused? :-)

An official latching switch may be a deal breaker to some. To others it means they will create their own. There are ideas already out there. It just depends if you want to attach something to the Cera to make it hands free or use some foil under the battery.

The Cera is still the same portable convection vaporizer that was shown off months ago. It still has a ceramic body, bowl and mouth piece. The ceramic bowl can be boiled and blow torched clean. It still has a removable battery. It has no electronics to fail. The heater coil is tough. It still has a 1 year warranty and is still built to last. The ceramic doesn't absorb odor and doesn't stain.

Of course all that doesn't matter if you don't want to hold the switch down for minutes during the session. For some adding an attachment to the outside of the Cera to make it hands free isn't for them. For some unscrewing the switch to stuff some tinfoil to make it hands free is too much work to do it every time. For some the bowl is too small. For some pure convection makes it too much work to get vapor when some are looking for vapor right when they inhale and don't want to play a waiting game while the contents heat up. If one does create a latching switch and keeps the vaporizer on for 10 minutes it'll get hot. There are other vaporizers out there that take care of those issues but may come with their own problems.

Best advice is to consider everything a certain vaporizer has to offer and then go onto the next one and see what that one has to offer. Figure out what you want to be using for years. Figure out the warranty. Figure out what to do when the battery dies / needs to be replaced.

The good thing about all this is the classifieds. You can sell the vaporizer for a small loss and buy the next.

Maybe something like, "Hey man! I've been waiting awhile and I'm going to my buddies over the long weekend. If you ship mine early I'll take a bunch of videos and put them up on youtube."

Then maybe a gentlemen's agreement where no one would say anything but someone didn't get the message? I would hope everyone knew this would upset a bunch of people waiting in line.

And I'm hoping they ship 10 a day? Maybe this week still 2ndSight.

I like this companies products but the way they handle everything is just absurd. They've gone against their word countless times, gave priority to people regardless of "first come first served", and I could go on and on but I have better things to do...
I just can't wait to get my unit so I don't have to deal with all the crap this company is doing. Luckily I'm getting an EO unit so I'm not part of the "LL latching crew" who TV screwed over...

Now you owe us an extra special review. If you got a LL I expect a great review with no water and how hard that switch is to hold. I am really happy for you.
Dreamer, your a sweetheart.
As for the review, I'm not much for video's, but I'll do my best to fashion a detailed review for you. I do need some get to know it time with it first. The button is not hard to press pressure wise, its just in an awkward spot.

Thanks ever so much. I didn't think it would be hard to press but holding is a whole different ballgame. You can make me a pvt one if you want and PM it or like you said just detailed. I don't even know how to make a vid so it is ok.

Just for you guys! Now I know it's not a Cera, I'm still waiting on my order. But I figured I would show a quick water pipe rip using my T1 from a cold start. I'll be sure to get video like this once my Cera arrives.

This was the third hit like this on the bowl, same batteries. Just took the other two earlier, then kinda spaced out for a bit.

I had a fairly cheap desktop vape for years, I think it was a Vaporite Digital. That broke months ago and have been meaning to buy a new one for a while now. Was going to go with the Pax until I saw the Cera. Now I dont know what to do. Is the Cera that much better than the Pax, or is there not much difference? I have even considered just to go with a desktop one, probably the Extreme Q, and just wait till the verdict on Cera is more concrete. I kinda wanted one that was portable thought, but I can wait.

I just wanna know how hard it really is to push this button. I mean I am in my 20's in good shape, have no illnesses. I am not sure that this will really be that hard to push for me, but I dont know.
