Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

Vitolo

Vaporist

Now Vito to your issue about the tops, this happens to both tops or only one?
It happens to all cartridges used or only one?

It happens with only the double top, and with any 2 carts I put on top.
It does not hamper function.
I get a good hit, and when I release button, it blinks twice... semi slowly.

For those who feel the Nibbler-X is overpriced, I can tell you that for my money it's the best Persei accessory I have purchased to date. It makes it far more friendly to those with any lung issues. It elevates the device...

It rocks

EDIT Sorry about the ads, I didn't realize dailymotion did that.

I don't FEEL it's overpriced, I'm convinced it's overpriced. That is my opinion. I don't expect anyone else to agree with me, but I DAMNED well have the right to EXPRESS my OPINION.

That said, I think it's a GREAT addition to the D9 line-up and functions exactly as promised. I applaud the ingenuity and foresight. I just feel the cost is marginally too high. Not all patients (remember the Omi/Persei are supposed to be a medical devices.) can afford these expensive optional attachments.

Side Note: This takes away the "Stealth" aspect altogether.

For $119.00 the NIBBER is priced right.
Now if you mass produce these in ASIA they would be even cheaper of course.
However the quality would most likely suffer?
I guess it matters what is important to you?
The PERSEI seems like a lot of money as well.
However the fit and finish is superior to the knock offs floating around the web.

The money saved on vaping is amazing!
If you don't like the price just buy a pack of rolling papers!

This GLASS BONG is made in the USA and cost over $770.00
? Is it worth it?
Hooked up to a PERSEI makes a PERSIE seem cheap let alone the NIBBLER!

Bodhi Diesel I wish it was less money as well having fewer resources than what I once had before my illness. I do understand the cost associated with running a business.
There is a lot of overhead to do anything in the state of California.
I would buy a NIBBLER right now if they were less money.
In the meantime using what I have gets the job done!

STEALTH = PERSEI SHORTY and a 2.4 cart and SOLO back up loaded with TOP SHELF MEDS

Your OPINION is noted. You could be right, but you're not.

Agreed.

I've been vaping EXCLUSIVELY since '98. Don't waste you're breath proselytizing to me.

That's all I've been saying from the beginning.

Lame excuse that doesn't apply here.

Exactly the same position I'm in.

Now do you feel better that you think you've one-upped me?

I agree you have a right to express your opinion, and you did, and I expressed mine. Sure, I wish it were cheaper too. That goes for my house, my car, health insurance, movies, cable tv... I'll stop there since I don't want to :horse:

Ultimately the market will determine wether D9V has priced it right or not. They will either sell enough to be happy, or lower the price to sell more.

I do agree that it kills the stealth, and is questionable in terms of portability (unless you bring water with you and dump it when done, not ideal). I also agree that it is a great addition to the d9v product line. I will end up using it almost every time I use my persei, and already it has made using it less hurtful to my throat & lungs.

Just my :2c:

No hard feeling?

Great Scott!
We get it the nibbler is still expensive. It still works really well. I guess the aqua vape and every other branded piece of glass is also too expensive? IMO everything in the world is too expensive.

Relative to reasonable expectations however, I don't think $119 is too much money to spend on a $200+ vape filled with what $50+ oils?

So continuing onward...

What is everyones next desire to see in the vapeworld on the D9 units. What is your persei/omi missing that you feel would just +1 your experience? We know what they have on the table, but what would create that much greater of an experience for you?

Given there are some things we cant even think of until its shown to us. Like a trucker in 1900s thinking of a GPS system. Probably couldnt even imagine it yet until it was thought of. Henceforth we have G to do that futuristic thinking.

As far as my opinion goes, something to regulate amounts. Something like an Iris function that will actuate an amount/time per press. That way its a NEAR consistent dosage every time. Not that this cant be done already by the user, but with upgraded carts (1701s and Hercs), something to create an exact replicable experience every time.

Personally, sometimes you can have "too much" and then you can get panicky. Thats uncomfortable. But if you find holding the button for X seconds at X power works best, being able to set that in the Iris or such said attachment. Thatd be great.

Just ordered the Nibbler x and with the iris I already have, should make a sexy vaping device......

Damn well should be. Not fortunate enough to get Iris v1, thought may as well wait for v2. Know G has something great waiting for us in the future for sure. Say nothing of the 1701s to come! Should be a great next couple releases and previews. Get the community stoked on the device, 10 fold.

On that, the actuation feature would be amazing on the Iris or another attachment. Maybe a future feature for those who see appealing...

Bring on the core ! No more Batteries when setting around the house and a car attatchment would be crazy! I think the core would be Benders/Hercs best friend! Persei/Iris/Core/Herc/Nibbler, sounds like a deadly combination!

Gentle Friends,

I've just had my third 'mishap' with my Iris. This time I caught it in the act of 'running wild' and deciding to give the cart 'full blast' rather than the 3.7 Volts we'd been using before. It happened right at the end of the hit, it didn't shut off but instead ran away. Since the button wasn't pressed at the time, all I could do was unscrew the cart to keep it from blowing up like the two others I have here did. They died when I was otherwise 'distracted', this one I saw happen.

This may well be isolated to just my unit. And it is pretty random and rare. Anyone else loose a cart unexpectedly using Iris? The one I caught still works OK but it got burnt, tastes off, and may well leak later on. The other two are completely open, both heaters in both carts burned out. Clearly not right, both heaters blown at the same time? Anyone else get this?

Hopefully the planned upgrade will fix this one way or the other. But that's what I saw.....and have to deal with now (I may just scrap the oil in the blown carts, it's sure to be kinda foul).

That sucks OF.... my iris has been functioning fine....

It ain't good, or cheap to run. I suspect most guys are not doing what I am, loading for HV but using it at 3.7 Volts? If you were running say 3.3 Volts with a 3.7 supply you'd hardly notice it maybe? Or running near 7.4 Volts?

Whatever it is, I wish it would stop....... Iris is a fun product, but if it keeps eating good carts we're gonna come to blows I bet.
