Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I wish I could find vids with people loading the Cloud with oil/wax. :\

Concentrates work great in the Cloud - the best I've tried actually. IMO it's most effective sandwiching the concentrate between some herb, but the 2 cap method is also effective (search this thread, there's plenty of info about it and even a video or two IIRC).

green2brown,
Well, after over 3 months, several issues and 2 cloud malfunctions(I guess I too was unlucky with the 2% failure rate), I will finally be receiving my cloud plus tomorrow. While this experience has been somewhat painful, I have been very happy with customer support. Even now I do not regret buying this product. It is the best vaporizer that I have ever used and I will post a video of the new unit once vapexhale has officially announced it.

This has been mentioned several times before. One of the best ways to use oil/wax is to layer it between flowers with a higher temp.

So essentially just rolling a dab in my grinder? Interesting. And around which pages on the thread does the community discuss oils?

lreindl,
I don't want to disclose the information about the cloud plus because I feel that vapexhale should be allowed to announce their product first, but I would compare it to the differences of an iPhone 4 to iPhone 4s.

Edit * Just make sure when using concentrates that there is enough bud on the bottom layer so that it can 'catch' the oil/wax before it falls into the bamboo. But like vape4life said, if you want to avoid any issues, the best method is to invert the cloud if that's an option for you.

Just be careful with the concentrates fellas...you don't want shit leaking down into the bamboo. I don't think i'd use concentrates unless the Cloud itself was inverted, but that's just me.

I've run over an ounce of concentrates through my Cloud without ever having a problem. To be safe I remove the ELB between hits to prevent the oils from dripping while I'm not hitting, but your inhalation should keep any from drippIng while in use.

Haha, so far my girlfriend, my dad, and three of my friends have all told me how stupid I am for wanting to purchase a $450 vaporizer. I mentioned how I didn't need a HT so it would lower the price, but they still think spending $450 is too much. How can I convince the naysayers?!

When I was smoking I was going through 3/4th of an ounce a week. Now I go through 1/2 an ounce a week with the cloud. That is an $70-80 savings a week. That means in about 6 weeks I saved enough money to have paid the unit off. Depending on your usage habits you will be saving money and it will pay for itself over time.

I tell everyone this. If you have a lower quality concentrate that is a little runny it could drip down in to the heating element and cause damage. If you are going to use full melt concentrated I suggest you use the device inverted.

Two quick things here...

1 -- Regarding Cloud upgrades, VXL will make an official annoncement on February 18th. So any discussion of the details between now and then is speculation. Feel free to jibberjabber about it all you want, but don't expect any answers until the 18th.

2 -- Regarding customer service issues, VXL will not be responding in this thread anymore. They have a tight software system that keeps track of all communications when the customer goes through the support ticket system. Communicating through the forum slows down the correspondence and documentation, and it is in public view which is not appropriate. I will state again that this thread is not to be used to report about any customer service issues that are not already resolved. Posts in violation will be noted and possibly warned. The only response to these issues will be from me, which will be of no help to the member.

Thank you and vape on! Now where's my bag of ELB's...

I just finished a session with the cloud and some strawberry cough - for some reason the ABV smells almost like doody! has anyone have experienced this?

Back when I used to still drink ... the sign of a good Pinot Noir is generally that it should smell like that :) ... if it smells like @ss, it's probably a good one

Does anyone else's cloud have a kind of burning smell to it when you get up close? I've noticed this on my unit for at least a month and never really paid attention before. I have a ticking model with flared bamboo that slides a little up and down. After 5 months of use I pushed the bamboo from the bottom up and noticed a really dark brown ring that looked like rust on both the inside and outside. I think it is just residue that hardened and built up over time. I spent an hour carefully cleaning with qtips dipped in Iso and using some scraping tools. I got it nearly perfect but it still smells. It kind of is similar to a curling iron. When I pulled the bamboo up I could see more clearly inside the Cloud and the white wrapping around the bamboo is turned black in one spot as if it were burned. Do other people have clouds with a slight curling iron burn smell to it? I don't want to be breathing in burning material if that is what is happening to me.

-_- VXL sent my cloud to my old address, did provide them with my current address but nope. Few more days of waiting. ARGH!

I'm really curious about the glass mouthpiece. Does anyone use it on a regular basis over hydratubes? Any videos?

Does the mouthpiece hit as good as a dry hydratube?

Mine has a very faint, beautiful, deep, maple syrup, molasses, honey smell. Its from ABV dust down in the bamboo. Easily cleaned with an alcohol prep pad or ISO moistened q-tip. Never had the ring people speak of but I am mindful of vapor flow, clearing the HT properly, best practices, and proactive cleanliness :)

Thing hits great! I had no plans to ever use mine since I have grown accustomed to water. But the first time I tried it I was hooked. The taste is as good as anything else possible and the length and diameter of the tube are enough to cool it down enough for even me. It's a great alternative when having a water tool isn't appropriate, like lounging in bed. It also takes the fear out of sharing!

If you had to use the mouthpiece as a daily driver, would you feel like its a step down from the tubes?

Any chance you got it in action?
