Arizer Extreme

I currently have an MFLB with the power adapter and a water pipe adapter. I use this in my dorm and it works great for three people as long as i keep packing new trenches. I'm going to move into an apartment this summer and i was planning on buying the arizer extreme for a housewarming gift. I actually have the funds now to buy it so i was just wondering if i should go ahead and buy it to use in my dorm to get used to it or if i should just wait until i move into my apartment. what do you guys think?

420saxman,
If you don't NEED it now I'd say wait. Even though it's unlikely, there could be a price drop between now and then.

I think you can begin shopping around for the best price. You already know it's what you want, so see what kinds of deals are out there. You have the luxury of time, so you don't have to pull the trigger right away. You also should consider buying some medical grade silicon tubing to replace the stock rigid pvc tubing that comes with the Extreme Q. It will make it a lot easier to share, fill bags and connect to a bong if you want to do that.

I'd just buy it. Would be nice if you had it mastered and could introduce it to your friends, although it loses a bit of the "house gift" allure if you buy it early haha. Having owned both, the EQ absolutely destroys the MFLB.

Know what an elbow bowl is. I might be in the minority here, but I prefer the stock PVC tubing for a social smoke and the silicone tubing for solo use. The PVC tubing is immune to getting kinked like the silicone one does as you pass the whip around.

I used my EQ for about three years before replacing it this week with an LSV. Thing worked just as good as it did day one. Good choice of vaporizer.

Krimidad, did you end up using the bags very much, or mostly the whip?

I almost never used the bags, even with multiple people. After my first year of ownership I never used them again. I prefer very dense hits which you won't get at all with the bag...not to mention all the residue that ends up inside the bag and the stale taste of the hit. People say bags are better than whips for groups, but I think the EQ whip system is great for groups since the whip is allowed to rotate around the base 360 degrees.

I tend to agree with you. I tried bags once or twice and it was such a hassle and so unsatisfying I doubt I'd do it again. Volcano bags are worthwhile, but not Extreme Q, IMO. The whip, however, is pretty nice. With the remote you can easily set the temps you want and climb the ladder to get most of the goodness out of your flower. Also, as you implied earlier and for the benefit of the OP, elbow bowls are the way to go.

I had an EQ for a few months and loved it. It worked flawlessly and produced thick vapor with an elbow pack or a fat cyclone load. I personally hated the bags after my first experience with them. I kind of regret selling it but I was eager to try out new vapes and grew tired of using whips.
