Discontinued Inhalater XP

Just the fact of how long the solo has been around compared to the INH and all of the revisions made made me turn toward the solo. Even if the INH is better.. It's 250 dollars for an INH and if it has problems with the stickers peeling, loose temp knob, burn of lip on the mouthpiece, charging issues, etc. I don't see it to be worth it at all. For that much money there shouldn't be any of those problems. Hopefully everything is fixed on the xp and I may order it down the road. But until it has been out for a while I wouldn't feel comfortable buying it. I feel like some companies send out their vapes and make their customers testers for them.

The issues are there just like the Solo has issues or any other vape but you really can't say that these problems happen in significant numbers and that because of these problems it doesn't worth it... Come on now... I have already sent back my Solo twice already, so what? That makes it not worthy of the 160$?

just want to say... i can milk a bubbler with awesome clouds with my solo using the stock stem alone.... just sayin

I can too even with a two hole stem. the INH does it better

The Solo is an great vape. Its just not my favorite anymore.

Its still better than many of the other vapes I've tried including anything from ThemoVape.

One thing I wanted to share about the XP is that there is a new mode after 9 on the dial where the machine goes into a auto low temp mode for tobacco. It doesn't flash the normal way but 3 quick flashes and then off. You need to be careful when high temp vaping because all the way open on the dial is not the hottest temp anymore. Its actually a quite low temp.

I had no idea what this so I called Pharmacor and they explained it to me.

With products like vapes where it's more or less a niche market right now (expanding quickly), not many vapes are going to be perfect right out of the gate. Hell even the Cloud which is suppose to be "the" desktop right now had problems during the release and they revisioned it quite a bit.

The only thing that you listed that really is a problem would be the sticker peeling of the temp. Stuff like burnt lips only happens if you aren't paying attention (and will never with the mouthpiece), and the charging issue can happen with any device. They made the knob tighter, and if it isn't tight enough you can add an elastic to add a bit more resistance.

I understand where you are coming from, but it's been out a year and theres been thousands of people who've tested the product. The majority of people love their INH, and the minority like vape4life had bad luck, which understandably so put him off this unit.

Did you read the last page on how frothi states that the INH >>>>>>Solo?

Paz it wasn't bad luck, Pharmacor said there was no fix for the faint blinking light when the unit wouldn't turn on. The dial falling off is just bad build materials and it happened to multiple people. The polyimide torn right out of the box, maybe bad luck.

i dont understand this statement. how does it do it better?? what makes it better?? is it YOUR opinion that it is better??

when i use my solo with the stock stem in my bubbler.. i get thick, milky white vape that fills the can. it looks like smoke (but it isn't) and get a huge hit that knocks me on my ass. i can do this through the whole 12 min session and 3 or 4 min into the next 12 min session. so i guess i don't understand... how can it be better than that??

honestly.... it all comes down to opinion... just cause one says something is better than something else does not make it so. i don't have an INH so i can't compare but i do know that i have had friends that combust that will NOT vape cause they say it doesn't "feel" like they get a good hit take a pull off my bubbler running my solo and the stock stem and after they get done coughing their ass off cause they took too much, look at me like i have two heads and say "that was vaping??? i really felt like i took a huge bong hit"

Both the Solo and INH are great devices, but I think if we want to continue this debate we should start a separate thread. This should be information about the INH, not why one vape is better than the other. While it is super insightful for many people, no need to go offtopic on the Solo here. Pak already warned people of it talking about the T1 dart/revolution in the Cera thread.

Btw, does anyone have the diameter measurements of the INH native mouthpiece and the hygenic mouthpiece?

What makes it better:

less restriction on draw - don't have to suck as hard.
with less restriction I get bigger hits more like the cloud than the solo.
The clouds are even thicker.
The load on a solo is smaller so it takes 2 bowls on a solo to match one on a INH.
I can vape the 2 solo loads worth of herb and be done in less than 4 minutes. THats not possible on a solo.

Thats why its better.

again its somewhere closer to a cloud than a solo. If you've tried a vapeXhale cloud you will know what I mean.

Where it can't keep up with the cloud is on back to back hits due to the lack of thermal mass.

ID or OD?

ID of the hygienic mouthpiece, which I assume would be the OD of the native.

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
1/4 which is the NO2 tube it fits but it must go all the way down. The hygienic one is a smidge smaller but not a big deal. The hygienic is measured in mm which is why it is slightly different. I do have that measurement in my email if you really want me to look. I do recall 6mm but don't remember if that was od or id.

Yeah it should be a standard size tubing hopefully, maybe 1/4"id 3/8"od?

Appears to be 8MM inside diameter on the hygenic stems they provide. I dont use them very often but they do work well with the ThermoVape Water Pipe Adapter.

so yes about 1/4" ID and 3/8" OD

Hey, what happened to Taylor from TheOtherSideVapes? Nothing lately and nothing about the XP on his site and 004 out of stock. Hope he's all good.

Thanks for your concern, and yes, I'm still alive and well lol. Just been trying to finish up a rather hectic move from St Louis to San Diego. My home was burglarized in October 2012, and I decided to leave St Louis shortly thereafter. Decided to look for "greener pastures" to reside in, so now I live near San Diego... My employee in STL was part-time, so this is obviously not a position that anybody would move across the country for. It took me some time to come out and find a home and somewhere to setup my business, and I finally got moved in here Mid-January. Basically been working around the clock since to try to get everything caught back up. I'm still waiting for ATT to come hook up my Internet and Phone, but they'll finally be setup tomorrow, so I should be back and running full speed quite soon.

As far as the XP goes.. I really haven't had time to work on the listing yet due to the circumstances I was dealing with. Plus, I had no intentions of offering a product for pre-order when I was never given a firm timeline to begin with. It's very common in the manufacturing industry to come across problems when starting up the production of brand new products. There's lots of unexpected problems that can arise that you thought were planned and accounted for; things happen that are out of your control: quality issues, supply issues, cost issues, logistics issues, etc. I've asked my supplier a couple times each week over the past probably 16 weeks for updates on the XP ship date, but there haven't really been any changes or firm date provided. I was told that I might be able to get a unit in a week or so for images, and that an extremely limited amount might later be coming in about two weeks. I'm going to get a listing put up for the XP as soon I get caught up on everything, but I have no intentions of starting pre-orders without some kind of at least semi-firm release date. However I have my suspicions that we're not going to see general release in the United States until sometime in March. In the meantime, I'm going to do my best to acquire inventory from the upcoming limited releases to provide replacements to my previous customers who are currently experiencing issues with older versions of the product.

Sincerely,
Taylor

OK So I've been using my Inhalator XP for 1 week now and I must say

I LOVE IT.

The clouds are large. The temperature control feels precise. The whole unit just works *really well*.

Other than my capsule issue, as noted in my video and discussed after, there have been no problems. The dial is satisfyingly stiff. I can see the sticker peeling after some times but I frankly don't give a fuck -- cuz thing is baby is designed to FUCK COMBUSTION, yo -- and it does a mighty good job. I'm NEVER going back.

I haven't even needed to use this in stealth mode yet. As a small, uninvasive desktop piece alone I am loving it.

The good... nay, GREAT... thing about the internet is you can research your stuff before you buy, and you can go as in depth as you want to. Though this is my first vape, it feels like I've got my hands on exactly what I wanted. I've waited for the tech to get where it is now. For my purposes, there is simply no drawbacks, and many gains.

I'm not trying to sell anything here. ha! i'm just, a week later, still stoked.

Well it does get hot when in good use but the hands can easily absorb this heat and you sure won't get burnt... It would be quite uncomfortable without the rings though...

this was my original impression too, but one day i touch tested around the rings and indeed it did seem quite hot. at this point it's not an issue for me -- i'm not going to try to remove them.

Hey can someone with a broken capsule try boiling it and see what happens. I wonder if we can boil and get them cleaner then we do in iso. The derilin should be able to, the poly has high heat tolerance so I wonder.

i'd do this except my broken capsule is so clean already...

It may be very hard to see because it's super dim and super rapid, but when it doesn't work take a good look to see if that's happening. Usually (as per Dreamerr) it happens from back to back seshes.

i didn't notice a dim light, but i had experiences when the battery drained that sounds a lot like this. a good recharge solved it.

Oh boy!!! Oh Boy!!! I am cancelling the XP as I write this!!!

beware -- 0 feedback seller.

NF If you can get a NO2 tube. You won't need the sanitary tip and it fits nice and is a good length. It is soft and bendable. I connect both sometimes and also use the smooth flow connected to either the short tip or the longer NO2 tube. Give it a try if you can find one.

dreamerr, thanks for the tip, and the link. i do find the intake hot. i use the sanitary tubes regularly as a result. cooler yet would be nice. just wondering -- how would these NO2 tubes compare to running the INH through a water pipe?

A water pipe would definitely cool the vapor more, since I believe the NO2 Tubes are just plastic tubing?

I could be wrong though. Also a complete sidenote, I've been looking at glass straws and was thinking I might get one to make the intake longer and give the air more time to cool.

I think that pharmacor insists that the inhalater is not made to vaporizer everything...its made to vaporize Cannabis,Chamomile and something else wich i dont remember the name...
