Discontinued Inhalater XP

You are bang on with your first statement, and pretty much with your second, except that I don't actually even own a Solo (or Inhalater) anymore. I have good and bad feelings for both, but just felt the need to defend the Solo since you were soooo pro Inhalater over Solo (blows it out of the water kinda thing). That's why I said I don't really care and i'm playing devil's advocate. I did (and still do) have some strong feelings about Arizer and the Solo and some of the things I dealt with, but I still think it's the best portable on the market so far IMO overall. I will keep an open mind for the Inhalater, and hope the XP kicks ass without any of the problems the O04 had.

My friends call me "Menz"
cloud production is clearly favors the INH especially with water. The INH produces bigger clouds with less effort (less restriction inhaling). Its closer than say comparing against a T1 which can't hang but the INH produces bigger with less effort. The XP takes it to the next level.

just want to say... i can milk a bubbler with awesome clouds with my solo using the stock stem alone.... just sayin

Did you all forget to vape today. What is up with this fighting for no reason boys. You are all testy today. I am glad I didn't check this thread.

For the record I love my solo and my INH and disagree with the cleaning. Stems are way easier cause as much as you iso the capsules they will never get fully cleaned after long use. I could do a full out comparison but at different times I want different things and there is no need for this. They are both good units period.

Fighting? Testy? Naw, just discussing and contrasting the two... there is definitely good info for anyone trying to decide between the two.

Regarding all this INH vs Solo conversation going on, i think there were points in agree in both views of the comparison.

If i may offer a more overall view of the two (i only own the Solo, so far. ):

- The INH is more pratical (USB charging/Vape-while-charging, no glass to worry about falling or getting too hot, smaller, stealthier)
- Vaporizing experience - They tie in most categories but i give the edge to Solo, due to taste alone
- Durability - Solo (The metal makes it more resistant to small accidents and the overall quality seems superior, no shady knob or anything, the capsules need replacing despite degree of care)
- Cleaning - Solo (They might be similar in terms of time to clean the stem or capsule, but the Solo gets way less dirtier in other places other than the stem and the INH will start to gunk up inside if you are not carefull)
-Overall Experience: INH is about being the best portable without being ultra stealth, Solo is about being the best unit to be portable at home, yours or others.

I see myself having both. Although they are good at the many of the same things, they are not good at everything the other is.

Your comparison is a good one ... Caught most points ... The one point you missed is that the vapour temperature is much hotter coming out of the INH than Solo ... So harder on the throat and mouth perspective if not water cooled

That would be somewhere in the "Vaporizing experience" category. ;)

If I may chime in here and give my two cents as an owner of both... I had an m105, an m107 and an A13 Solo keeping me company until I got my INH. And I say until cause other than ease of maintenance (INH needs more q-tips and time to clean thoroughly if you need it looking pristine), all other points go to the INH IMHO...

As far as taste goes I prefer the INH's at around 6-7 every day to the Solo's at any temp. As far as ease of use goes it's all INH. Charging and power in general? INH. Stealth? INH. Harshness of vapor? Add a plain straw to the INH and the point goes to the INH again. I would rather not listen to talks about plastic again cause the temps up there are lower than a hot beverage...

About durability now... They are electronic devices so anything can go wrong... If they fall it always depends HOW they fall but INH has more chances cause of the lesser weight and more compact electronics. As far as extraction of goodies go of course the INH is doing a more thorough vaping, I can re-vape stuff from the Solo and get high again using the INH. There are other points of comparison too but for me the INH is a clear winner in most fronts except price maybe.

The only vapes I use these days actually are the Hot Pod for all day usage in conservation mode through glass and the INH for heavy hitting before bed, for slow sipping during a movie and for every outdoor session of course. For a gathering I employ the Pod with a vapor lung though as I can fill back to back bags much easier and faster than the INH... :p

The Solo serves me as an all-round back up for now and for lending it to friends with needs. I just don't find any reason at all to use it in place of the other two anymore, and I have experimented a lot going back and forth, trust me... :ko:

I just wanted to say that honestly, this discussion between the Solo and Inh Xp has been helpful to me. I didn't find it very negative...just opinionated (which is good)

As a new owner of the Solo, I am very happy with my purchase. But honestly, the Xp is representative of a newer breed of portable vape. It isn't perfect, but it does seem to edge out ahead over the Solo in some key ways.

With that said, I plan to enjoy my Solo as my daily driver...but when I can justify a new vape purchase, I'll most likely add the IHH XP thanks to this thread!! That's unless something else gets my interest between now and then...

Imagine?

ARIZER taking the SOLO and reducing the footprint by 30% narrower?
Function, Size, Flavor?

I hope their looking at the next level?

The XP with a few refinements would be hard to beat.
Get rid of the HASBRO materials and they might have something.

However for ARIZER they only need to reduce the diameter leaving the length alone.
Don't cut cost by low quality batteries.

I think a smaller more efficient Solo would be hard to beat!! I also hope Arizer has something on the horizon...

You're not the first I have heard say that they re-vape ABV in their INH and get more extraction/vapour?

HOW is this even possible when the Solo on temp setting "7" causes near black/burnt ABV? Yuck.

My intentions were not to argue or be negative, and like curiousone indicated they weren't, just opinionated, and honestly just to help the community. I don't love both or hate both, I just thought it needed a more fair comparison and wanted to share my experiences with both of them.

Now back to your regular XP broadcasting, otherwise a new thread would have to be created!

That actually depends on how u use the Solo... If you remove the stem between hits u r using more convection so it's very difficult to produce near black ABV and you actually need to stir. Of course these all depend on how you draw too and if it's through water or direct. Also with the Solo I tend to stop the session earlier due to nastier taste towards the end if I keep the stem in between hits. If I am in strict conservation and juice every last bit of vapor then yes it will be completely spent but the taste is horrible there and the vapor harsher... :2c:

I have 2 solo's and neither of them make black ABV on 7. I have a jar here, that is mostly golden brown ABV, and I run several different vapes through out the day. I don't think all solo's roast the same. I can say though, when I had the INH, it would turn my abv almost black on high, but never tasted burned or charred. You know some times when you have to make your meds stretch, double roasting some light colored ABV is not a bad way to go. It's not as tasty, but if you still get the medical effect, then I don't see anything wrong with it.

I do the same with my Pax. I keep a little bowl of light AVB from my SSV and pop it into the PAX when I am on the go. Tastes like ass warmed over, but it does what I need it to and saves money. So I think it is worthwhile thing to do, regardless of the unit. Unless you just straight cook your AVB of course.

My Solo will only get he top layer that dark brown color. When I dump it out the rest of it is much lighter color.

My friends call me "Menz"
when i use my solo dry (no water) i start on 4 for a full 12 min session then turn it back on and do a few more min (not a full 12 min session) on 6 and my ABV comes out an even milk chocolate brown

HOWEVER...

when i use my solo with my bubbler i do one full session on 6 and usually thats it and my ABV comes out an even very dark brown, close to black

my solo never gives me black abv unless im pulling through a water pipe and sometimes when i do the same stem twice..

Man im so anxious to get my XP.. im confident it will be used much more than my Solo, honestly my solo is like my back up/go to vape when all else fails..

NF If you can get a NO2 tube. You won't need the sanitary tip and it fits nice and is a good length. It is soft and bendable. I connect both sometimes and also use the smooth flow connected to either the short tip or the longer NO2 tube. Give it a try if you can find one.

Any photo or a link maybe Dreamerr? Is it a silicone tube?

Just the fact of how long the solo has been around compared to the INH and all of the revisions made made me turn toward the solo. Even if the INH is better.. It's 250 dollars for an INH and if it has problems with the stickers peeling, loose temp knob, burn of lip on the mouthpiece, charging issues, etc. I don't see it to be worth it at all. For that much money there shouldn't be any of those problems. Hopefully everything is fixed on the xp and I may order it down the road. But until it has been out for a while I wouldn't feel comfortable buying it. I feel like some companies send out their vapes and make their customers testers for them.

I never burnt my lips and have used it native many times.

NF I am sure you can find it at a European dealer that sells vapes. But just so you can see it I googled and found this. http://www.vapornation.com/store/vapir-no2-replacement-tubes.html Really it is just a long sanitary tip. I found it by accident when vito gave me one as a present and wow it fit and I fell in love.

Oh, ok! I get it now but it wouldn't replace the straw which is stiff and remains straight up while holding only the INH! One hand operation like drinking from a very very thin Red Bull. Really comfy, try it out, and you don't need to carry a lot when out. I will try out the tubing for sure too when my XP comes. My tubes are in that order unfortunately... :(

I love it NF and I can just put the INH in my lap and not hold it at all or if in bed just leave it on the bed. I can also shove the same tube if I want into the solo stem and it work great as well. It can't replace the capsule top cause that is one piece but that piece is really short so no big deal. It is so inexpensive it is worth a try. I am sure you can find it near you somewhere.
