Due to financing and supply, I do the following :

With a nice size supply, I vape lightly for the taste- light ,light brown ABV.
When I run out, :uhoh: I revape the same light brown stash at a higher temp until it is dark brown.
Works for me.

Yer one for the books, BDV, that's for sure. Talk about self restraint.....most guys I know would want to stretch out every single trench under those conditions....

I mean, if I want to take it to the really dark stage, I'll throw some kief in with the herb... before its cached. Helps take it to the dark brown stage and preserve flavor.

Oh and knocks you on your ass.

The (click top) lid on my box seems to be getting loose... It slid to the side today releasing vapor from a dab of wax because I moved my finger slightly. What can I do to maybe tighten it a bit?

does this vaporizer evenly heat the herb how many times do you stir per vape load?

I shake my trench evenly every hit and get good consistent trench vaping.

Got my box's lid to get tighter, no problem.

Rolling paper, at least that's what I used. The part without the glue line. I did basically the same thing with my old box before I tore the screen out for warranty. Surprisingly it worked but nowhere as easily/efficiently as with my DART (for obvious reasons).

Yes. Shake every hit.

Yes, it's a quarter of an Elements rice rolling paper without the glue. Works well enough to get a good hit. The oil melts into the paper and it can be hit a few times afterwards. Making due with what I have, my MFLB, fully charged batteries and oil

I have been wanting one but I can't afford a dedicated BHO vaporizer, as I've said I'm making the best of my box

OK, back on topic...

As Q was saying, he was using his Box for wax and such for some time, while he was beating the Hell out of it, trying to warrant a replacement.

But, you can ask him... he's vaped just about everything in it, including furniture polish, I believe. So, if you catch him (while in a sane period) he can probably give you lots of alternate uses.

Beautiful shots! A word of advice, try to lower the aperture of your lens when taking close up shots without a macro lens. Its hard to appreciate some photos when you have a really shallow DoF.

that's the way i do it.. i rarely use the LB for that though.. especially now-a-days, since i have other options.. concentrate vapor sticks to everything good.. so i avoid it w/ the box since it cant be fully cleaned.. i find it makes the screen mad sticky too and when you vape herb all the particles stick everywhere, if u don't clean right after.. i always do a heat cycle after using extracts for that reason... there's usually a good burn off.. glad it works for you.. how is your screen? you were using 2700 batteries right?.. i had very slight leak through's w/ batteries. no big deal though.. just little dots that would soak through after ~min or 2 of use..

Dunno what's up with the batteries, possibly rated at that but not their true capacity? It's somewhat (un)common but it can happen. They might be around 10-15 mAh's off, might be almost 600 off. One of those fancy ~$40-50 chargers from Amazon can rate them for you so you see capacities on a readout, as well as charge/discharge and refreshing which seems to give old batteries new life. It is an investment at that price but it seems that with one can't live once they get it... Do the old ones sustain light longer than a hit or two (as in, do those still work noticeably better than the new one

My old batteries don't work anymore for the box. I've been using them in my xbox so they probably have lost power over last year when I last used the box. Really don't see myself spending another $40-$50 on this vaporizer that I honestly may use 1-2 times a month (have SSV). Also, the light was working before with the old batteries when I was using the box. The box also is not heating up when the light isn't on

You don't need that charger, you just need new batteries. That's $10.97 for four Imedion 2400s at Thomas Distributing.

Why would you expect the LB to heat up when the light isn't on?

i think the reason why paidndade brings it up might be because of my response in post #19476

it's possible.... happened to me.. that box still works too.. the light works when it feels like it or through the pa at higher powers... but it always gets hot even when not lighting up.. as hot as it (rubber band model) ever has, from what i can tell. i thought it was worth checking out, because i thought my box was broken or that my batteries were bad... but it was fine and it's still kickin today.

It's not an investment for your vaporizer. It's an investment for rechargable batteries... The box just happens to use batteries. That's what I meant, otherwise without the batteries in hand I couldn't tell you what's up with them.

Would these be a good pair of batteries to get for my MFLB? I'm looking at them specifically because they are about $5

iv'e been getting too used to the other vapes so i started using my LB more, and it always takes care of business... getting medicated off almost nothing again.. its nice to switch it up.. i need to keep it more regular though, and it should help keep me from getting too used to the vapes w/ bigger appetites.. ha

Anyone auctually seen the place these are made? Because there are a ton of them on Alibaba from a few different suppliers. seams like it would be easy to order a to order a ton of them have them lazer etched in the states and slapped made in USA on them right?

Sounds like a good theory to me. After all, the #1 factor for quality is what country it was made in, so I'm sure companies go to extremes to put 'made in USA' on their stuff.

Quite a first post Grimkrum. I look forward to more gems like that.

I had an idea today.

Would a glass "bowl" or "boat" of some kind placed inside the trench allow you to vaporize hash oil without getting your screen clogged?

yup.. i imagine the paper having the fastest response though?... it would likely have to be super thin glass... i have never found anything that seemed like it would work good enough(size/shape/thickness) for a test... i would have tried it if i had found something to improvise w/.. if i remember correctly, a little while back MF said they've tested different materials for inserts.. i imagine glass was one of the first ones?? i wonder what the results were...

whatever direction they choose to take it... i'm excited to find out what they've been up to..
speculating could be fun:worms:
